The food was nice but over priced the room was dull no pictures no free biscuits .no iron very small wardrobe doors looked like vents tried to get my money back but they couldn't refund because I booked through booking. Com the staff where lovely but it just wasnt worth the money
It was dull needed a splash of colour no free water in the fridge did not feel special at all

location is perfect! Gorgeous quaint boutique hotel. superb friendly service. great bar. perfect balance between tucked away gem and a viby happening scene around sunset
4.7
Excellent location in the 9 Streets area, very helpful reception staff, very nice bar and communal areas and very nicely designed.
The hotel’s rooms located in the attic are relatively generously sized but don’t feel very luxurious - e.g. the bed was up against a window with no headboard to be able to sit up in. The hotel bar is very nice, but the service wasn’t very good - one evening, no staff came to take a drinks order despite waiting for about 20 minutes and trying to get staff members’ attention. There was a private reception being held that evening and the staff couldn’t cope with that and service for other hotel guests in the bar and restaurant - whilst understandably busy for the staff, you would expect better service levels from such a leading hotel.

The rooms in the old part of the hotel where the bathroom is downstairs and the bedroom is up a flight of very steep, small stairs are not practical or comfortable.

Elegant boutique style hotel in perfect location. Excellent restaurants. The staffing was a real highlight, particularly Kate who gave us personal attention throughout our stay.
The room was a bit smaller than expected.
4.7
The room was first class. We liked everything about this gem of a hotel. The staff were first class along with all the facilities. The restaurant was a complete must. We have eaten in the worlds best and this is right up there. You must eat in when staying at the Dylan.....
Car parking but I suppose if you are in Amsterdam it is always tricky. The hotel looked after my car and took away the problem. Another plus.

location, good quality, cool design

charming, interesting space, great location, quiet, excellent food, lovely staff.
very expensive!

The history of the place. The sobriety of the decor. The info given by the staff. The well stocked bar. The brasserie Occo. The amazing room 46, with views on roofs and terraces. The tech gadgets, confort, coffee and mini bar. The private boat tour . Great stay!
BBC did not work on our TV. No major problem!

the room we had was so spacious and comfortable. The downstairs area felt incredibly welcoming and it was a lovely space to enjoy for drinks and general relaxation.

The staff was absolutely great! The hotel was beautiful, the view on the inner garden breathtaking. We had an amazing stay, what more can I say?
Nothing, they did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible… and they succeeded!

The location and Beauty of the hotel lovely !
Our room was beautiful aesthetically but sadly absent of all functionality.
We had dinner and drinks in the bar resturant which was
fabulous !!!
I wouldn’t stay in a duplex bathroom upper again . It was challenging .
No mirror in dressing area lower level
Lights upper loft not working getting ready in the dark.
Outlet issue only one in full upper area ???
Windows had shades but if drawn couldn’t see - if open have no privacy .
Pillows were not comfortable
This room was a considerable upgrade and I was disappointed as the value for dollar just wasn’t there.
Ordered flowers in the suite for 50 euro and they were a basic corner bought bouquet you can get at the market for 15 euro - it wasn’t an arrangement just cut flowers in a massive vase .

Always been a fan of SLH hotels. Excellent location. Very helpful team. Wonderful concierge (Ronald) service. Love the ambience, old world charm. Rarer and rarer these days.

I loved the location, the charm, and the size of the rooms.
only thing that was tough, was arriving at 10am and having to wait until 3pm (completely exhausted from overnight flight) for our room to be ready. They were able to have our room ready by 2:30, but would be amazing if hotels had a way to deviate from standard check-in times to accommodate guests arriving from out of country.

Beautiful, intimate boutique hotel. perfectly located
