La chambre était très confortable, sur le spot de surf. Le spa est très agréable et les massages pour enfant sont apparemment géniaux (dixit notre fille). On est dans le centre d'Eiriceiria. Vraiment un séjour au top!

Estrutura geral muito boa. Estrutura particular (espaços mais íntimos) a desejar.

A localização do hotel é surreal! Pequeno almoço deliciosa. Boa equipe.

O quarto era bonito, de um modo geral. Mas tinha um papel de parede um pouco cafona e fora de moda que o enfeiava e, principalmente, um cheiro de mofo terrível que seria desagradável para qualquer um mas, para alguém com asma, ainda era mais inadmissível. O chuveiro também funcionava a conta gotas e tinha jatos de água fervente e fria, sem parar. Estas questões foram bem desagradáveis e fora de um contexto de relaxamento.

Our view was amazing we had breakfast every morning on the terrace over looking the ocean it was breathtaking. We loved the smell and the sound of the waves the hotel is amazing as usual we stay here every year if not this location at your other Vila gale locations in Portugal love love them all.

Too bad there was no window in our room as there is space Above the double doors to add windows high beautiful 18 foot ceiling, however we could not leave the door open due to the huge bugs outside our front door every night and possible one entering while leaving the door ajar. I did not also appreciate that I booked a second week here 16-21 august2024 however the reservation was not found in your system we were told my sister and husband stayed next door to us we all booked in May for this trip we were to book at another location however decided to book here since our other family and friends stayed here also. we were stressed when your staff told us there were no rooms available and our last day is Thursday august 15th there is no booking found for our second week , I asked them to call Vila gale Cascais and book there as this is what we do after our second week here book at your other premises also they did not because when we called to verify there was no booking I had to contact our booking agent and get our confirmation printed in Portugues and I emailed Vila gale that we did in fact had a reservation here thank you to Caterina your front desk clerk she was very helpful In Assisting us.

My stay was very relaxing and we enjoyed our time at the hotel.

The location was central, convenient and the views from the pool area were fantastic. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pool area was lovely and modern while the hotel has maintained its charm.

Very beautiful old-fashion hotel. Perfect location, good breakfast and spacious rooms. We loved the pool area.

Minor inconvenience were the beds which were a bit hard for my back.

Great location, lovely views - hotel needs upgrading

The location was excellent - right next to the beach, lovely views and 5 minute walk along the coast to the old town where there are plenty of nice restaurants. I had a small balcony which had great sea views. The swimming pool area was very nice and there was a lot of seating and sun loungers available both on the terrace (direct access from the diningroom/bar area) and around the pools. There are also some nice landscaped areas.

The hotel is very old fashioned, my bedroom was very dark and grim- it really needs a make over. There was a mini bar (fridge) with 4 250ml bottles of water, the door had fallen off and was just propped against the fridge - clearly the water was not kept cold nor could the fridge be used to keep anything else cool including medication I had with me which had to be thrown away after 2 days because it has to be kept in the fridge once opened. i would have appreciated a kettle so I could make tea or coffee.

This is a cruise ship on land… with a mostly over 60’s crowd.

Perfect location. Room was spacious. late check out.

Outdoor pools not heated. Massages at the spa were expensive and awful. Gym was basic - but staff kept turning off aircon whilst we were using it and would let us play music due to proximity to spa. Weird requirement to wear a swim cap in the indoor pool (and tried to charge €8 to buy a cap). Not overly security conscious, either. Staff gave us an extra key to our room without checking ID!

Not so recommended

The hotel is nice, though we got a room pn the ground floor with parking view which Was loud and small. The hotel is not prepared for order children like 7 years old- we couldn' t get a room with a bed for our son.

a nice place to stay very near from lisbon

location, cleanliness, facilities, staff, sea sight, swimming pool for the kids

rooms were good but was expecting a little bit more; i believe the kids slide in the swimming pool should have some kinda of protection because my kid almost had an accident with another kid.

THE BEST STAY AT THE OCEAN

What a BEAUTIFUL LOCATION. The ocean view, the pools, the whole venue from the hotel is just absolutely PERFECT. I felt so home. Next to the hotel is a small beach. Great roomservice. The staff is so friendly. I had the best stay ever. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too expensive for what it is

Good location, in the heart of city center (restaurants, shops, bakeries etc). Breakfast is nice, good variety. Nice views.

Hotel is old, needs a freshen up. Rooms are old, bathroom is old, safe is available in the room but does not close (no key, no code, no nothing). Extremely expensive for what it is. Impossible to find a parking space (hotel parking lot is very small and parking spaces nearby are hard to find).

very nice, relaxing, pleasant

Reception staff-forgot some of the names-Afonso, Andreia. restaurant staff. Gym, Location, Breakfast. Kids playgound. The Brazilian "tia" girl who ran the animacao was escellent. Room view.

Twin beds for a casal. The hotel should provide one bottled water every day for its guests. I did not like that it was so cheapy about getting a water bottle. There should be signs in the hotel about not making noise in the halls and to respect other guests privacy. There should be signs telling people that if you are sick or coughing to stay out of the breakfast area. Do not cough and sneeze in the dining room. This happened many times during our stay.

Great location, close enough to Lisbon and Sintra for daily visits, nice beach but waves could be strong which suited the surfers, and the town of Ericeira has interesting restaurants and shops within an easy evening walk. Staff very accommodating, English spoken by most, hotel very clean and well managed.

Breakfast buffet was excellent with variation of fruits, cheeses and cold meats available - together with ‘full English’! if required and a chef providing eggs cooked as you like them with omelette’s to order and fresh pancakes, full range of cereals and coffee available - however :- our first evening we decided to order food ‘from their menu’ - nothing complicated - basically steak and chips with steamed vegetables- this, to the embarrassment of the waiters arrived 1 hour and forty minutes following the time the order was taken! - the staff were full of apologies and accommodating. When the management were advised suitable bill adjustment was offered. We were advised that there were insufficient staff to meet the workload in the kitchen at that time. The food ordered was to an acceptable standard, we were not the only people however who had a similar experience on that and the following evening when ordering from the menu. The following evening we opted for the buffet option, however the food quality was not of the level of the breakfasts and we then explored the restaurants in Ericeira and surrounding areas which provided some memorable meals.
