Everything was good, but room was not so big.

We loved this place, it’s perfect if you travel with car to Brugge! The room was recently renovated and the castle and its garden is very beautiful, breakfast was great too. We travelled with a dog and there is a nice walk around the property and also a natural park close by which was fantastic! Highly recommend!
Everything perfect!

Absolutely stunning venue - almost 'castle-like' set in the most magnificent gardens. There was a wedding/reception in the grounds the day we were there and it added to the charm of our stay. Room was wonderful although I was concerned about the depth of the window - I would have appreciated some sort of safety rail as the window sill was knee height. Breakfast could only be described as a 'culinary experience' - amazing.
We would have appreciated it if a paper map of Bruges had been available at reception.

Good breakfast
Very noisy place on the main street with cars driving all night and all day. The place should be advertised as a wedding house and not a hotel - every evening and night noisy drunk guests shouting and slamming doors in the hotel until 5 o'clock in the morning. Every day cold water in the bathroom - fixed after reporting to the reception. Old smell in the room.
Maybe during the week the place is nice - on the weekend it's definitely not. I was very disappointed.

great view
just a bit noisy on the street side but great overall

Building was amazing as was location.
.
They had renovations going on which would have been nice to know before as banging started around 8am and the place was dusty and had floor protectors down.
There was no tea or coffee in the room.

Beautiful location & building - very atmospheric. Good breakfast.
Roadside room on busy road was very noisy.
8.0
Beautiful garden, beautiful building. Great location. Delicious breakfast. Nice, friendly staff.
The room was lacking a bit of "personality". It felt quite cold and empty and didn't match the beauty of the exterior design at all. It was spacious and clean and had a comfortable bed though.
6.0
The garden, the bar, the dining room, views.
The smell, run out of coffee at breakfast, no blinds in bathroom

Gardens were nice.
Where to start? The sink didn’t drain, could hear everything going on in other rooms, staff rarely available, it’s not a castle so much as an old house, front doors inaccessible, no bartender mostly, one window screen for four windows - broken and stuck at n corner of our room, not enough lighting to see anything in our fun front room, breakfast was ok

Breakfast was excellent
Huge hotel but we arrived to find only one car in the car park and the place looked deserted. There was a notice on the door asking people to go round the back as there was a door open there. We found the key to our room on a piece of paper with our name on laying on a table along with four other keys. Also some printed information etc. Didn’t see a single member of staff until breakfast the next morning. It was an excellent breakfast. After breakfast we spent about ten minutes trying to locate a member of staff so that we could pay the bill!

Beautiful grounds, nice warm breakfast, clean and comfy even if older. A ways out of the city, but buses generally worked out for transportation.

Location and surrounding
Furniture totally absent, no chair no table, nothing

The building and grounds are beautiful. It is very convenient to the center of Bruges. Breakfast was great.
Parking was hard in the evening because of an event going on.

location is great, staff (when present) is friendly
no facilities, staff is hard to find, very little services. No lunch nor dinner served. It is mainly for wedding receptions.
5.0
totally old fashioned room, not restored and likes like before the war,
no curtains in the bathroom, everybody can look inside
dirty bathroom
poor breakfast, breakfast goes until 10 o'clock: at 09.30 were no eggs anymore and no baco, when we asked for more it was "too late"... at 09.35 o'clock!!!

I absolutely lovedddd this place!! The gardens are gorgeous! The room was amazing, full view of the grounds and swan 🦢 warm, comfy and had a chess table too! The bed frame was gorgeous 💕
We received two pillows, more would’ve been nice and added to the look of the bed on arrival (pics taken just as we arrived- bed untouched by us). The location was ok, a short taxi to the city centre but if you want to be within walking distance maybe not the best option

The location is very good. The hotel has aa beautiful park and it really looks like a fairytale castle.
Breakfast was great.
The room and the bathroom were very old. The room was small and sad in terms of decorations. I considered it on a low side for a 3 stars hotel. As you enter the hotel there is a big mismatch with the beautiful outside.

Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff. Good location.
Nothing. We we're very happy all round.
6.0
The location and the atmosphere of the hotel were great. The room had all the necessities needed and was clean. Also, the view from the hotel room to the back garden was fantastic.
The room was a bit on the small side. In the shower there was no hot water at all, no matter how long you waited, the water did not heat up! So you can forget about taking a shower unless you enjoy cold water showers! Also, the bathroom sink was missing its glass stand where you would put your toothbrush or other toiletries.
2.0
The grounds are very nice and there is a nice path to walk.
There is no wheel chair acceasibilty to entrance. There was blood on my daughters pillowcase. It is really not close to city center and taxi was about €20 each way. The batteries did not work on TV remote and front desk completely closes at night so there was no way to get new ones. There was only one open plug in the room so charges more than one phone was not possible. There was no mini fridge so we could not save left over food or have cold drinks. It was the worst hotel stay I have had in many many years. We left a day early and just sucked up the cost of the last.

The view was absolutely amazing. The smell of the shampoo, conditioner and soap was great. The bed was super comfortable.
I didn’t like how hot it got at night and that the bed didn’t have a top sheet for a lighter option to cover up with. The blanket was too thick for a room with no air-conditioning. There was also no staff at night.

'Castle' feeling, beautiful garden worth a small walk, agreed to serve breakfast earlyer.,
Cold water shower in the morning, baby crying at night.
