Excellent location - 15 mins by foot to the centre. Free parking. Polite receptionists.
The hotel needs complete renovation. The entrance and hallway were smelly. It also can be said for the bathroom. The furniture was worn out as well. The biggest minus was the air condition. It can be hardly called an air condition. It was very hot in the room, impossible to sleep. It was also impossible to have normal breakfast due to the heat. In addition the breakfast itself was very basic. All in all, hotel looks way better on the pictures and definitely cannot be classified as 4 star hotel.

The building was impressive, with lovely rooms. We found the staff to be excellent: friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and we had a delicious evening meal on one evening.
It’s probably a personal thing, but we would have liked a kettle in our rooms, so that we could make ourselves an early morning tea or a late night drink.

This hotel is situated overlooking Loreto. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is satisfying. We were within walking distance of all areas we wanted to visit. There is a beautiful terrace at the top with spectacular views. We will definitely be returning.
We loved everything.

Close to the centre. Nice views (our room was on 3rd floor). Kind and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Large room. We were there just for 1 night, but this hotel was a good choice!

We got there before the check in time and they let us store our suitcases there, and gave us a map to the city and a very good recommendation for a place to have lunch. After the check in we had dinner and drinks and they were all very good. The people working there were very attentive and friendly and we were able to go to the terrace to enjoy the view to the Basilica!
The only downside was that one of our rooms was next to one of the elevators, so every time that someone used it during the night we could hear the loud noise it made when it got to our floor, but out of that it was all perfect!

Hotel San Francesco, Loreto, Le Marche. Oct. 19th & 20th, 2022
Hotel type- for business and special occasions. Friendly and efficient staff.
Room: comfortable bed, fantastic panoramic view of Santuario della Casa Santa di Loreto..
Onsite parking. Breakfast buffet- good selection of items. Show up early for scrambled eggs. They also have hard boiled eggs if you are late. A plate with sliced cucumbers? Evidently German guests like them with breakfast. The hotel is not too far from Piazza della Madonna, sporting a wonderful dragon fountain, on the way to the Santuario, which has a Brunelleschi style dome.
Take Via Vanvitelli up the hill the post office, behind that is a pedestrian vicolo, starting at Porta Romana. Follow that down to Piazza Madonna. Along this pedestrian route you will find restaurants, religious tchotchkes shops, herbalist, aeronautical museum, pasticceria, cafes, hotels and B&Bs and more. Hotel San Francesco is also a good base for a day trip to Recanati, a brick hill town, home of famous poet Giacomo Leopardi. If you are driving, they have the most beautiful parking facility for visitors, Parcheggio Centro Città 2.0.
Bathroom could use a good scrub, especially the shower.

Best greetings to the people who work here, they are super friendly and helpful. Also rooms are very nice, good choice on the breakfast table and the nice view from the rooms to the hills or a city of Loreto.

Location.
Their marketing said air conditioner but their system had been turned off.

We wanted to have dinner in the hotel restaurant and the cook was yelling at us because, after one hour waiting, I was told my dish (on the list) was not available and I complained for the long time waiting. Really rude and bad service

Nice, friendly, helpful and courteous staff.
Spacious rooms compared to italian standards.
Fantastic view to the city from our room.
Free private parking.
Breakfast was not worthy for a four star hotel, monotonous and very basic, even by italian standards.
Wifi was spotty and slow most of the time.
Only one(!) usable plug socket in the whole bedroom.
The hotel and the rooms are a bit dated, rather three star standard, not four.
The hotel is a bit rigid, more flowers and more decor would be appreciated.(I know it was a monastery but still.)

Great location, some rooms have sea view or monument view (or both). Basic rooms but very clean and brand new.
Breakfast is difficult to judge due to covid restrictions. It was however well organized.
