Ein sehr gelungender und erhohlsamer Aufenthalt

Die Lage ist hervorragend in einem Weinberg gelegen und ca 50 Meter von der Küste entfernt. Wir hatten eine große Terasse mit Blick auf den Atlantik und die Insel Faial. Mir der Fähre waren es 20 Minuten nach Faja, der Fährhafen ist 10 Minuten entfernt. Der Bungalow und vor allem die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, Spülmaschine, 4-plattenherd und eine Backröhre. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich sofort. Insgesammt ausgezeichnet

Paraíso do Pico

Localização espetacular. Pátio com vista para uma paisagem da cultura da vinha da ilha do Pico. E com o Faial ao fundo... Apartamento confortável, espaçoso e completo, ideal para quem queira fazer pequenas refeições.

Poderia ter um serviço de pequeno almoço adicional. Era cómodo e simpático para quem não quer cozinhar. Alguma proteção para a chuva entre o parque de estacionamento e as casas. Se estiver a chover copiosamente (como esteve), ficamos completamente alagados (mesmo com guarda chuva).

Sehr tolle Woche

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Personal. Die Lage direkt mit Meerblick und Pool und Naturpool vor der Türe. Sehr große Terrasse und freier Blick. Das Zentrum ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Parkplätze für Mietwagen immer kostenlos verfügbar.

Die Ausstattung war ok, ein Schneidebrett war leider nicht vorhanden und die Messer waren sehr stumpf.

Feel like at home stay

The location was perfect with a wonderful view. It was a spacious and calm place, which perfectly would suit family. For the ones who want to avoid going to eat out every evening, there is kitchen with kitchen supplies available at the place. It was really lovely to have a cup of coffee while sitting outside in the terrace and watch the sunset. The terrace is perfect to get suntan, do morning/evening yoga. Unfortunately, the weather was not the greatest during my stay, thus I had just brief moments to enjoy the terrace.

I would recommend place to get nets/shields from mosquitos installed on each window. It is very humid in Azores, and having open windows is necessary. However, it attracts a lot of mosquitos and sadly I did not have proper sleep as was bitten by them. A simple solution of shields, or plugged in devices or candles would work.

Great accomodation, very spaceous! Brilliant view and a very nice starting point for hikes or a visit to Horta (The Ferry is like 10 min walkway) Very kind staff!!Thanks for making our vacation such a great one! Great food in walkway distance (go to o petisca!!! but book a table in advance!!!!)

Pleasant stay in great accommodation- ideal for exploring Pico.

The location is super; close to the ferry port and adjacent to natural pools. Perfect location to watch the sun set over Faial. Clean & well appointed.

Doesn't worth the money

The location is great, the app is big

It is very old. Lots of flaws like old walls, old curtains, old furniture, kitchen, sofas, etc. They charge almost 100 USD per night, but that doesn't worth that. It is supposed to be equipped well, but I felt it is not clean, see the rugs fotos, they are dirty, rusty fridge is discusting, and it feel no descreet, because everything is open to the bypassing people, I didn't feel safe there. Also the rolls on sores to patio are broken, it is impossible to close half of it. And there are lack of kitchen staff, even no salt and pepper, that basic staff for apartment... O am 😞

Wonderful place to see Pico island, relax with waves crashing in the background, splendid views.

Very helpful and friendly staff, spacious apartment, view is priceless. Location quiet and near a restaurant. Full service apartment with AC & heat & dishwasher. Daily housekeeping.

Very musty/moldy smelling in unit 16/Maria- smells like water/mold leak under sink & dishwasher. Had to air out daily so allergies wouldn't kick in. No heat/fan in bathroom. Bedroom duvets old and musty. Bedroom AC/Heat seemed to be programmed to heat only - could have been user error.

Great location, but unfortunately needs a lot of cleaning and revamping

The accommodation is quite near the centre of the town. It is also right in front of the sea and a great natural pool. There is also a lovely view of Faial from the accommodation.

The accommodation is very neglected. The smell of the accommodation was disgusting. It reeked of mould. When I looked at the curtain, it was filthy with mould. Obviously this had been left uncleaned for a very long time. I ended up with breathing problems for the next week. I only managed to get about 2 hours sleep each night. After the first night, we first ask the girls could we change. They said they were fully booked up.. So we had to ask the girls to take out the curtains and we had to leave the windows open all day while we were away to clear out the air. It was unbearable. When we arrived, there was also so much garden furniture stored inside the accommodation that we barely had space for ourselves. We had to move everything back out again ourselves.. I understand there was a storm recently, but there should be alternative storage for these furnitures, not back into the accommodation. There was also a missing half door from one of the cabinets in the kitchen, and rust inside of the fridge. They also had the nerve to charge people extortionate prices for broken basic cutlery. Ridiculous. Maybe look after the accommodation properly rather than charge people for basic old cutlery.

We encountered multiple cockroaches and other bugs that most probably came from the outside (it's a ground level apartment). Pest control and window nets can solve it...

Fantastic Azores

The apartament is confortable, has a nice kitchen where we could find everything we needed to have breakfast, lunch or dinner (take coffee bags by yourself!), a beautiful terrace ocean view, free private parking. It's easy to go walking either to the city center or to the supermarket "Continente" or by car outside the city. Towels are changed every 3 days, but there are also bathrobes

Highly recommend!

The property is located within walking distance of the ferry terminal, the wine cooperative and several eateries. The room with kitchenette, dining, living and bedroom was awesome - large and comfortable. The patio with table/chairs and loungers looking out over the ocean was superb. The AC in both living room and bedroom was heavenly. The location is steps away from the free municipal pool and protected sea pool - such a huge plus!

There wasn't a washer and the flimsy shower curtain kept sticking to us, but other than that, I can't think of anything we didn't like!

Ocean, local style vineyards, natural swimming pool, and in ground swimming pool are all available for your enjoyment.

I can’t believe we stayed in such a charming, clean, well-equipped apartment overlooking the sea for such an affordable price. The patios are large and comfortable for sipping your wine and enjoying the amazing ocean view.

Disappointing

The location is nice and the view is great. The house is pretty big. Bed is massive and comfortable.

Unfortunately, I really wouldn't recommend this place. I understand it's a rainy island and the house is located close to the sea but.. the whole place smelled like mold. It wasn't decorated in any nice way. The first night something beeped very loud all the time, keeping us up all night. The staff fixed this the next day though. And worst of all: there were tons, and some massive, insects crawling around the house. The insect repellent plug in in the living room clearly didn't work. We left a day early.

Superb

Staff was very friendly. Locations is great. Within walking distance of ferry terminal and city center. Plenty of parking space. Views from the appartment are amazing. Great place to enjoy the sunset. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped plus it has a dishwasher, which was really nice and some dishwater tablets are provided.

Sofa was less comfortable I think because it is also an sofa bed.
