Whether looking to enjoy some wakeboarding and jet skiing around the lake or watching the sunset over the water from your own back porch,
you will fall in love with this lakeside home.
Newly renovated in 2018 this 4 bedroom, with its picturesque front porch and two large decks overlooking breathtaking views of Douglas Lake, is a dream come true. The sun will greet you as you enter the family room, with large HDTV, and continue into the fully equipped kitchen stocked with everything you need to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. A washer and dryer make it easy to stay on top of the laundry.
The large sun room, located off the kitchen, is filled with board games, and books, making it the perfect spot for enjoying family game night or curling up with a good book after lunch and enjoying the views of the water. Two comfy sofa beds afford extra sleeping space for larger families.
Completing the beautiful layout of this main level are two king size bedrooms, one full size bedroom, and two full baths.
Located on the lower level of the home is a king size bedroom and full bath. Only accessible thru a separate outdoor entrance off the deck, this level is perfect for anyone looking for that extra bit of privacy. Large windows provide a panoramic lake view. Enjoy TV or a movie away from all the other action.
Outside, a gently sloping path will lead you straight to the water’s edge where your private dock, with swim ladder, is located. The views from the two back decks, which overlook both the water and dock, are spectacular and the sunsets are breathtaking. The front porch is outfitted with comfy wicker furniture and a checkerboard table to wile away a lazy afternoon.

I’m sure this will be deleted so I’ll keep it short. We found roaches (dead and very much alive), had to wash all silverware before we used it, nasty toilet in the master bath, nasty old food in the over drawer. I could go on. They did offer for someone to come out but who wants to have to deal with all that on VACATION when it should have been done before we arrived, as that is why people pay cleaning fees. I was told it was cleaned. Never in 14 years have we ever had this experience anywhere we have stayed. They didn’t even have the right name when they contacted me the ONE time they did. Just disgusted, beware.

We really enjoyed the lake and view. We rented a boat and we Swam a lot. The house needs a lot of updating. It was dirty and outdated. The air conditioner could be better. The downstairs room Smelled and the carpet was dirty but the air down there kick butt. My guest said the beds or very uncomfortable.

Property was as listed. It was clean and had all we needed to cook. Coming from where we live the hardest thing for us was getting use to cooking on the electric stove as we all have gas stoves! We had a very good time with family. Very relaxing and peaceful. Great memories were made! Lake sunsets are beautiful!

Great location and view of the lake.

The house is somewhat dated but had the necessary items we needed for the week. The view of the lake was amazing and having our own dock for the pontoon was a huge plus. We were 20 minutes away from the Parkway with all the shops and restaurants so that was convenient. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were not cleaned before we arrived and the upstairs toilets and showers were lightly surfaced cleaned. The walk from the house to the ramp is a steep hill with pavers all the way down. Many of the pavers were loose so we opted to walk in the grass. 2 of our guests were elderly and found that to be a difficult task every day so keep that in mind. Overall, we loved the lake and the location but would look for something more updated and an easier path to the dock.

The house was modestly nice. It was smaller than it appeared on the VRBO listing. The ladder on the dock was broken prior to our arrival and was not fixed at any point during our stay. The bedroom door to the main bedroom upstairs was very janky at best. The down stairs bedroom while attached to the home, is not accessible from the main part of the house without walking outside and down the stairs. The house did suit our needs however and had an amazing view of the part of the lake we stayed on. The stepping stones leading from the home to the dock were shaking and uneven. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The property is very convenient for exploring Sevierville and the surrounding area including Great Smokey National Park. The house has lovely decks and views of the lake. Our was a good size for our group of nine. We loved the games and puzzles provided.

Loved it!

Me and my family (6 ppl) stayed a week for spring break, and it was amazing! The house was clean and nicer than we expected. Definitely big enough for all of us which was great. Showers were nice, washer and dryer worked, and can’t forget about the view! Waking up seeing the lake was beautiful every morning, and the location of the house was great. We were able to drive 30ish minutes to great fishing spots and to pigeon forge. I would highly recommend staying here!

We had a good stay there were a few things like we were not told that the lake was very low one of the bedrooms sheets were put on the bed wet so before they could go to sleep after driving from Florida they had to dry the sheets one of the bedroom doors didn’t close it’s not working right and it doesn’t seem like they but much money back into there rental property, but overall we had a good family vacation don’t think we would stay at this particular property again though

Very nice cabin. Cabin was clean and nicely furnished. Had a great view of lake Douglas from the deck of the cabin. Grand kids really enjoyed the gaming system. We took our boat and had a great time skiing and tubing. Cabin is only 30 minutes away from Pigeon Forge. I would highly recommend this cabin.

We really enjoyed this little lake house in a very quiet neighborhood. Lake access was pretty easy. The boys enjoyed being able to fish whenever they wanted although it was very warm the week we went and not a ton of catching happening. Layout was interesting with the one bedroom downstairs with a completely separate entrance but our oldest teenager throughly enjoyed having his own space. Close to a supermarket and about 35-40 min to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Everyone we encountered throughout out stay was very pleasant. House was well stocked with games, videos, books and a few video games if you needed to pass any time. I would suggest researching some of the things you would like to do as far as shows (Hatfield & McCoy, Pirates of Caribbean and the Stampede show) required tickets and were not often available the day of. Other things were closed on some days (Dollywood closed Tues & Thurs) not that it affected our trip negatively at all. Our family highly suggests making your own knife at Bar T Forge, renting a boat and tube from Douglas Lake Rentals, Pigeon Forge if you like less busy (and go during the daytime. Got pretty packed at night) or Gatlinburg if you like more of a walkable hustle and bustle. We would definitely come back again!

We had a wonderful time here! The lake is beautiful & the home had everything we needed. It was a perfect vacation for our family! The kids loved jumping in the lake at the end of our days out & about. It was a great spot to rent a boat for a day as well.

And what I really dislike is that one of the rooms is separated from the house. So who ever stays there if they want a glass of water a night has to go outside then in the house. We had a group of 13 staying for a week. Of course we ran out of hot water! The place is clean and nice with a wonderful view. Only complaints is they are in need of a new bed in one of the rooms. (There is a sink hole in the middle. )Also definitely need to upgrade the towels and linens. It is kinda misleading cause it is an older mobile home.

Very pleased with how clean the property was when we arrived. Gorgeous view, nice furnishings. Negatives are the rundown neighborhood and that the owner has a cap on the A/C at 72 which is not cool enough for sleeping. I wouldn't recommend this for a summer rental for this reason.

Nice place. The bedding could be improved a bit, but not bad. A little strange having to take your trash somewhere. Lake gets low this time of year, but still very nice. Close to lots of things to do and see.

The accommodations where just as they stated on line. Really enjoyed the walk to the lake a fishing time. Only complaint I have is the temp of the place. I think setting the on at least 70 instead of 72 sure would have helped. Everyone was very helpful which meant a lot to me.Would come back to this place again.

Listing was disceptive. TV was over the air tv and no internet. The over the air tv was switched 3 years ago. And the router was taken out recently. The yard to the lake is very steep and steps to dock was very steep. The house was nice the flying bugs at night was a nightmare unless you left the porch lights off.

Great location! Great dock! Overall 10/10 stay, we had an amazing time! The only issue we had was the temperature of the house. The thermostat was locked at 72 degrees and unable to be changed. We were there in mid June on days when it was excess of 80 degrees, 72 interior temperature was not cool enough. We used the ceiling fans but still we struggled to get cooled off even in middle of night. I completely understand the necessity for maintaining a temperature there for electricity bills, but we are paying a heavy price to stay there to be miserable at night while sleeping. We would go again, but will be sure to take box fans for each room to help cool the internal temp down. Thanks for the fun week!

We had a fabulous time. The place was clean, and we had plenty of space for everyone. I had a few questions before we arrived, and the property manager/owner was very responsive. Everything we could possibly need was available. We are already thinking of going back.

With our big family this was great!!! The view was beautiful although a bit of a drive to get to cabin. Could have used more than one extra roll of toilet paper for the amount of days we were there. The house did stay a bit hot and we had no way to turn the heat off because it was locked. But the accommodation were great, comfy beds, and we spent a bit of time on the front and back Porch and the kids enjoyed playing their game boards outside looking at the stars which they don’t get in the city!

The house was very efficient and roomy, bed in master bedroom squeaked every time you moved but slept good. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The view is awesome ,even though the Lake was low.
