Amazing property, short drive to state parks and down town. Very cozy and beautiful.

There were four of us (all females) and we played in a golf tournament at Haystack and this place was perfect for us. The location and the four bedrooms, two full bathrooms and wonderful kitchen made us very comfortable, we wished we had stayed another day.

We stayed for Thanksgiving weekend to visit family that live nearby. It is a nice cozy cabin, clean, with everything we needed. Our contact Duncan Wilson, was very helpful and accommodating with checking in and out. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

We are frequents to both Wilmington and Chimney Hill specifically. The house was perfect. One of the most accommodating we have stayed in in 15+ years of renting.
We checked out an awesome new brewery in town, Craft Valley Ales, that didn’t disappoint as well!
Thanks for a great stay!

We loved our stay here. It was cozy, relaxing and just what we wanted. The cabin has everything you need and a fantastic deck. The sound of the little stream on the property was so peaceful! We would totally go back especially in the winter for skiing.

We loved staying in this beautiful cabin. It met all of our wants and needs. Sitting on the deck with the dogs was perfect. The lake, hiking trails and quaint town were wonderful as well. We did not want to leave!

Pet friendly cabin in the VT woods
From booking through arrival Duncan was accessible and very helpful. Best of all he understood the difficulties of traveling with cats and eased our way from early check in to a bag of treats to welcome two very nervous cats.
The cabin was comfortable the location perfect- close to town but away from it all. Hiking trails and tennis nearby. Best stocked kitchen we’ve encountered. Can’t wait to go back.

Nice Getaway
Great place for a getaway. We only spent two nights but would absolutely come back to explore the area more.
5 minutes from town. Just off the road. Far enough to enjoy the surroundings but not too far from hearing the cars go by.
The kids had a blast and really enjoyed the house

Lovely Cabin
Lovely cabin w/i 20 minutes of Mount Snow and Prospect Mountain (XC skiing - awesome spot!). The cabin is very cozy and the cabin-themed furnishings are so cute. Lots of wood to keep the fire going. If you come with children, there are books and a few toys to keep the tots entertained.

Great cabin experience!
Had an amazing time with some friends at this cabin. The listing was spot on. Had a couple questions during our stay and Duncan was very helpful and quick to respond. Awesome time all around!!

Authentic VT Cabin Stay
The house has everything you need for a cozy cabin stay. Everything you need for cooking, cozying up by the fire, watching movies, and playing games. Quite secluded and everything was clean. We had some issues with the water but the owner was responsive. Just beware of the grumpy neighbor (don't pull into their driveway).

Amazing location and great cabin!
Loved the mountain-forested location with a brook running next to the property - beautiful, serene and exciting all at ice! The location is amazing as it is equidistant from Bennington and Brattleboro yet feels remote enough so you get both scenes! The cabin was very comfy and cozy and offered everything we needed - plus the wood stove with plenty of wood was fantastic! Thehosts are super nice and accommodating.

Amazing stay!
My friends, husband, and I had a great stay here this past weekend. House was beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed. Everything was comfortable and cozy and we spent most of our time in the kitchen or on the deck. Would absolutely recommend and would love to come back!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway!
Our family enjoyed the cabin and surrounding attractions. Haystack hike and local lake where we rented a pontoon boat - all very close to cabin. The cabin is very charming inside and outside we enjoyed the deck areas, beautiful flowers and solo for s’mores! Plan to return in the future!

Nice cabin in the woods
The layout of the cabin, with 3 bedrooms and a bath upstairs and a large bedroom/sitting room and a second bath downstairs offered our family lots of options for sleeping arrangements. The cabin was very well appointed with bathroom supplies, paper goods, dishes, pots & pans, as well as food and condiments in the cupboards and frig. The deck is very large with big comfortable Adirondack chairs, a great place to hang out. One of the queen beds was very firm and comfortable, but the other queen was too soft and lumpy for any of our group to use. I would not recommend this place for small children; our 14 month grandson could hardly move without getting himself into trouble with something in the big room. My only problem with the cabin was that the owners' stuff fills the closets and drawers so much that it was hard for us to move our own things in.

Wonderful Getaway
We enjoyed the house so much! As people who usually have the TV on at home all the time, to not have the TV as the centerpiece of the living room was a nice change of pace. We enjoyed all of the games that were available as well.

Quiet country getaway.
This cozy cabin is perfectly situated in a private wooded setting complete with a deck overlooking a babbling brook. The interior has a cute rustic charm with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the farm table is perfect for family meals and games.

Adorable house close to Mt Snow!
Really lovely stay at this cute cottage near Mt. Snow. The property was perfect for a weekend away.

Wonderful cabin for friends
This cabin is far enough away from everything to let you and your friends relax away from big city life while also being an incredibly short drive to a cute little downtown with shoppes and great looking restaurants. Everything delivered as promised. The floor plan made it so that whoever was cooking had room to cook while also being part of the party and everyone could gather in the living room or around the dining room table. The house was well stocked with firewood, kindling, and fire starter, though in our experience if the fire is going the rest of the house was a bit cooler (we’re noticed this when some of our group was still out with the fire in the living room and some of us went to bed early).
Other things to note that I didn’t remember from the listing: the WiFi is a bit on the slow side (as in multiple people can’t stream movies at the same time), the tv in the living room is a bit small and older (though it did the job), parking is max 4 cars and they have to be on one after the other so the first one in is the last one out, and there is a lovely little stream beside the house that you can see and hear when you go out on the good sized deck.
This cabin delivered on charm and comfort! Definitely would recommend!

Lovely rustic but new cabin
Everything is just as pictured or described. My family really enjoyed the cabin. If we are ever back in that area we would definitely rent there again.

Quiet cozy cabin in the Mountains
My wife and I, along with our dog, booked for 5 nights. A Perfect spot, just off a back country thoroughfare, but still in the woods and just tucked off a road in the hillside. Upon entering the cabin, we realized it was a good choice and in a good location. Clean and decorated nicely along with fresh linnins throughout.
The Lower level of the cabin was spotless as well, having a large bedroom and private full bathroom. The cabin seemed to be dry and air tight, not drafty, along with an excellent VHAC system; the unit kept the cabin at a good consistent temperature.
The town of Willingington, located just a few minutes down the way, was the added bonus. People were so nice and accommodating. A real story book Vermont cozy walking town with small shops and genuine homegrown people. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner places in town as well. We hit a few of them and found all the establishments to be welcoming with hometown hospitality.
We hope to visit again soon and thank you again for having us at your home in the Mountains.
