Couldn’t shut the bathroom door. That’s awkward Had to go Down a set of steps to get to porch with the other steps shown in picture. Door number didn’t match listing. They told me twice they’d send my prescription glasses. I even offered to pay postage. They never sent them. Very disappointed.

Clean, good amount of space, very easy check in and had a great time while visiting the area.

Great space to stay! Big area to accommodate larger groups, everybody was accounted for and comfortable. Hosts were responsive and considerate to our needs.

From check in to check out the stay was amazing! I felt cozy and right at home. The location was great as well! Overall very happy with the stay and I will definitely book again.

This apartment was in a vast old Waynesboro house. Lots of space, high ceilings. Decently equipped kitchen, bathroom basic (shower with not-great plastic curtain). Right next to the railroad tracks which we enjoyed, but there is definitely train horn noise. Good location to walk to Waynesboro restaurants. Wonderful communication from hosts, immaculately clean. We'll stay again!

This place had lots of Old City charm. Wood floors, cute and modern decór, and surprisingly lots of space for 5 people. The location was good and check-in/check-out was as simple as can be. Would recommend for anyone staying nearby as it is minutes from the major highways.

A place to stay, not a getaway
I should preface this with, yes, this space was how it looks in the listing and the property managers/owners were great the whole time for communication and any problems/notifications. But unfortunately pictures can be misleading. This property has so much potential to be extremely awesome, but I felt let down during my stay.
The building is probably an original for the town, so it’s squeaky and slippery hardwood floors did make it hard to move around on; more area rugs and such would have helped a ton especially for dogs or people who have a harder time walking. The unit was cute, but very “bare minimum”. A small uncomfortable couch for a large living room with a cheap table for sitting. There were no creature comforts; like a throw blanket for the couch, pillows for the other chair, etc. The main bedroom didn’t have a TV while the guest bedroom did (which is just a note, not a detraction); the master bed was SO uncomfortable and squeaked any time someone breathed. I couldn’t sleep at all, it was a terrible night. The appliances are working, but are very outdated and old. The toilet handle was hard to flush, almost thinking it was broken. The kitchen was decently stocked for staples, but things like having a coffee maker but no coffee, are a let down. Lacking the “homey” touch like artwork and rugs etc made the noise echo and made me feel overly cautious to move around in the unit in case I was bothering other tenants.
If you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway, this is not it. Located at an extremely busy and industrial setting, the traffic was loud and the view was unfortunately concrete and pavement. There are a few small grass patches if you bring your dog, to let them potty.
The place and unit had so much potential to really bring a great getaway experience, but just fell short in a lot of ways and left me disappointed. I also didn’t like that after my stay, the management emailed me asking for a review of the place (per usual) but if I had less than a 5 star review, I should email them directly and not put it on VRBO so they could make changes themselves. I feel like other people may have had similar experiences to mine and felt swayed to not put their reviews on the site. I would have more than likely gone with another VRBO that was more comfortable, even for a much higher cost.

Nice but confusing
The number on the door did not match the listing information and left us feeling very uncertain if we were in the right place. Good for one night/ a bit of noise from the nearby train. Clean and comfortable otherwise

Way more room than I thought there’d be!
We stayed for my son’s graduation from FMS. Plenty of room for us! Living room was huge. We hosted some other family and friends. Charming older house. Short walk into town, farmers market, Kroger. Highly recommend!

Great place f
The house is split into a bunch of different apartments, but we did not hear any of the other guests while we were there. The one we stayed in was clean and had plenty of room. The kitchen was small, but all we needed for making breakfast and heading out for the day. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels provided. We really enjoyed the location which was close to Basic Brewing.

Overall disappointing
I was overall disappointed with our stay here. When we arrived the apartment had obviously not been cleaned (towels left on the bathroom floor, no sheets, crumbs all over the kitchen and a tip for housekeeping left on the table). This was 30min after the check in time (4:30pm) so we expected it to be ready. I reached out to the host and they did respond and send a house cleaning team out, but this meant we had to leave. My husband had planned on taking a quick nap before dinner and was not able to. I specifically asked the hosts if we could leave some food we brought in the fridge. They said it wouldn’t be a problem and they would let the housekeeper know. We left behind a custom birthday cake that had not been touched. We got a message that we could return to the house at around 7:30pm while we were at dinner. We ended up getting back to the house at 10:30 and my heart broke when I opened the fridge and discovered they had thrown away my birthday cake. I messaged the host and they apologized and said they would issue a refund. I sent over the bakery invoice via email and have yet to be refunded. We also noticed the sheets which were not put on the bed were actually too small for the bed. Our mattress was curled at the bottom after being jammed into the top sheet. At approximately 3:30am someone rang the doorbell repeatedly. As this apartment isn’t in a super nice area (but not awful) it really spooked us and I couldn’t fall back asleep. Overall it was a stressful start to the trip and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Cozy and spacious
The directions were spot on, plenty of space in each room for my family and all the gear. Right on the main rd but it wasn't loud at all. Neighbors were friendly as well.

Great location in an amazing old home
Really enjoyed the stay. If staying more than one night the stairs would have been difficult to manage. But great stay

Fit our needs for one night perfectly!
I think it felt much bigger in person than what was pictured. Both rooms are great sizes. Said sleeps 8 so we assumed the couch was big enough for two, but the couch is tiny. The remotes for the TV's were touchy and didn't always work. Also, the bathroom door is a pain to stay closed. The kids enjoyed the chalk way. We chose this VRBO due to the location of being close to the beginning of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were there less than 12 hours and greatly appreciate a rental being available for only one night.

charming accomadations
We were so pleased with the apartment. It was SO clean! (this comes from three OR nurses!). Location is about 3 miles from I 64 and easy to find. Ample parking. It was easy to communicate with the owners/managers when needed. We would stay here again if the need arose!

The location isn't amazing, but the property itself was fine. My biggest disappointment here was the fact that they basically didn't know we were coming. The cleaning lady was extraordinarily professional and apologized for the property--she was fine, but they never sent me the code to get into the building until I called, texted and asked neighbors for help. Because we weren't expected, we waited awhile until it was clean. Not the cleaning person's fault, but there was a breakdown in communication. They definitely didn't know we were coming. Otherwise, the location is fine.

Problems
There was no light in the hall at the top of the stairs and no number on the door to indicate what unit was #6. There was a wet spot in the middle of the couch that smelled putrid so we couldn't sit on the couch. There was sand in the sheets on the bed so this indicated to us that no one washed the sheets after the previous occupant. There was no light in the laundry room and when I was feeling around on the wall for the light switch I got shocked when I came in contact with bare wires sticking out of the wall where the light switch should have been.

This is a nice listing in a not so nice neighborhood. For what we needed this did the trick but the surrounding neighborhood is not the best. Despite phone calls, voicemails and an email I never heard back from the host when I inquired about check in times. The website lists a 3pm check in but the host indicated it was 4pm but never responded to my follow up email or phone calls. Despite all this the apartment is nicely appointed, clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Waynesboro review
The place was very clean and extremely spacious. Location was a bit strange, but only a 15 minute drive to the winery we had planned on visiting. Not a lot of ubers/lyfts in the area, so be sure to have rides planned ahead of time.

Perfect for location for hiking or Wineing/brewery
We enjoyed the apartment. Quiet, perfect size. Great location by Interstate, Shenandoah Natl Park, convenient to wineries and breweries. Good place, good value.

Pretty good
The place is really nice on the inside. The neighborhood however is a little sketchy. When we arrived there were people on the front porch smoking and drinking which isn’t necessarily what you want to see. I was a little nervous since there was a rotation lock system meaning anyone who knew the code could get into the house. There’s also a random door in the house that seems to connect to the other section of the house owned by other people. The place was very clean towels were provided there was no soap, shampoo, or conditioner. The tv in the family was very small. Overall we had a great stay just some small things that may need some work
