Perfect place to be able to enjoy all downtown has to offer. Wineries, restaurants, and shops all a quick walk away. Super cute and quaint little place. My wife and I had a blast.

Our experience was very good. It was great for the two of us. Not much storage for unpacking but it didn't matter. The location was great. Walkable to many shops, restaurants and a trailhead. Day trips to Sedona were great. Jerome is well worth the 20 minute trip. Our host was very accommodating.

We love the Cactus pad. The design is beautiful, it is peaceful, a great home base for exploring the tasting rooms and meandering through the shops of old town Cottonwood. This is our second stay. Ellen is a very responsive host when we had a minor (user error) problem using the key pad entry system. There is nothing we would change. The cactus of is perfect.

We loved this little house. The location was perfect…literally one block from all the shops and restaurants on Main Street. Yet, it was private and quiet. Also, the owner’s communication was so helpful. We had a great time!

What a special place! Both fun and serene, this cozy home offers everything for a memorable and comfortable stay. We felt rejuvenated by its serenity and thrilled to be able to simply walk to downtown Cottonwood for shopping. Really an ideal getaway. PLUS this home's location is perfect for all the nearby wine tastings--you can walk home, no car needed! The Cactus Pad is simply awesome.

Old Town Cottonwood
My husband and I stayed for one week at this property set just behind the Main Street of Old Town Cottonwood. It is a hidden gem! It was quiet, private and well planned inside and out. The center of Old Town was walkable and fun to be close to. We loved every minute and would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing getaway
There is nothing we didn't love about this property. The space was exactly what we wanted and what we needed, from the universal design of the entry way, to the proximity to the tasting rooms. Thank you for sharing your space with us.

Awesome spot!
We totally fell in love with this wonderful casita! Plenty of room for the two of us, comfy bed and perfect temperature with the AC. Enjoyed morning coffee on the porch and even cooked dinner one night. Couldn't be better located - an easy walk to Old Town Cottonwood shops, restaurants and tasting rooms. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

The perfect Arizona experience
The location of the property was SO convenient and within walking distance to everything Cottonwood has to offer. It is close to Sedona and Jerome but without the congested traffic. Highly recommend renting one of the pin drop trailers to camp up in the mountains for a night or two, it was SPECTACULAR. The pin drop trailers have everything you could possibly need. The camper is completely self sufficient, as it is solar powered , however it can hook up to power if available . It also has blue tooth connectability. The camper was very easy to pull behind . Both owners Tim and Ruth Ellen are very knowledgeable about the area and recommended a weeks worth of activities . Make sure you experience kayaking , the train and rent an ATV for the full AZ experience . We did not have ONE bad meal , our two favorite restaurants were the Colt (beef brisket tacos ) and Belfry (cowboy sirloin and lock & key cocktails ).

Best Weekend Ever
We had such an amazing time at the Cactus Pad. First off, even though the photos are super cute and I knew we were going to be happy there, when we arrived we were blown away by how absolutely adorable (and squeeky clean) it was. Add to that the location....really you cannot go wrong. We ate at Merkin the first night (cheese board = YUM!), hit the Jail Trail for a peaceful walk and then Jerome the next day followed by dinner at Bocce (highly recommend the salad - the dressing is over the top!), the next day was La Crema for breakfast (do yourself a favor and order the huge gooey cinnamon roll), Burning Tree (you MUST go) and a short drive to DA Ranch Winery for live music. Honestly, next time we will probably skip Jermone because Cottonwood itself had so much to offer. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you Cactus Pad and Ruth Ellen for such a magical time!

Quaint with easy access Old Town Cottonwood’s Main St.
The property is quiet and secluded above the main house within a block’s walk of all the Main street shops and the Jail Trail for hiking along the Verde river. It’s a perfect location to enjoy the cooler temperatures and take in a winetasting or two. Communication with the owners was excellent with timely responses to any questions we had. With the Covid pandemic we felt secure and were reassured by the owner that appropriate precautions have been taken for our safety.
The house was very clean, had a king sized comfortable bed, large shower, soft/ fresh linens/pillows and a kitchen equipped with the basics including martini glasses and a shaker if you wanted to put together a cocktail. Within a short driving distance there are several grocery stores to stock up if you choose to stay in and cook.
There is no television but for us that was not necessary as we came to explore the town and to disconnect. Don’t miss buying some delicious Verde Valley Olive Oil and Arizona Stronghold wine. We highly recommend a couple with only one child staying here as the sleeping space would not accommodate anymore.

Cute, clean and cozy
Great experience. The Cactus Pad was better than we imagined, it was clean and comfortable. Easy check-in and out. Had everything we needed. A short walk to all the shops & sample rooms on the main street. Very good communication with Ruth Ellen. Absolutely loved our stay at the Cactus Pad, would definitely stay here again.
