Alles was fijn daar in een mooie omgeving. Geweldig dat we daar s’avonds heerlijk konden dineren in het gezellige restaurant.
Het was er goed toeven.

Ideally located near the Canyon. A very neat and cosy cabin, with a great view. Good breakfast. The dinner we had in the restaurant was good specially the freshly caught fish.
Breakfast should have eggs.

The cottages are in an outstanding and peaceful location surrounded by nature. One of the best accommodations we had during our journey in Iceland
The food at the restaurant was fairly average and breakfast was very basic
3.5
The room was nice, very clean. The woman at the receptionist desk was very friendly. They were very accommodating for our late arrival.
The curtains let in a lot of light still. I think just exchanging these for darker curtains would make the stay even better, aiding in a better nights sleep.

Seeing the Northern Lights, the quaint and quietness of the property, and the beauty of the hillside around was breathtaking. Would absolutely stay again!

Very nice family run Resturant, we had dinner there and food was really really good....breakfast was great. Fairy house in front of reception room is great...
Rooms are little small
2.5
The structure from outside looks nice...the room much less. Breakfast is ok.
Super BASIC and small room , from the picture it looks more comfortable. Way too expensive for what it offers...
3.5
Everything you would expect from a wooden house. Great bed, fantastic location!
Breakfast could be a bit more varied

we had the chance to see the northern lights! the staff was super nice and the restaurant was really good too!
the breakfast could have offered a bit more, such as yogurt, skyr or porridge, but still really good:)
4.5
lovely guesthouses, really peaceful, loved it! The staff are also really nice and friendly!
Everything was perfect except that the walls are thin so you can hear your next door neighbours at night
3.5
Dinner and breakfast were good.
Staff was nice.
Room was alright even if the toilet cover should be arranged/adjusted.
Just near Kirkjubæjarklaustur.
A bit overpriced compared to the other places i went in Iceland
Showers limited to 300L per day but for the environment, maybe it’s not all that bad.
5.0
Lovely cottage accomodation with sounds of a river running nearby.
We sat on our balcony and watched the moon rise before dinner at the great restaurant onsite.
Run by a local family, this guesthouse is welcoming and helpful. Nearby a beautiful canyon awaits discovery.

Lovely spot!! Right by a famous canyon. The cabins were spacious, very clean and beautiful. So rustic and cozy! Great breakfast in the morning. We notified them of a late check in and they were very accommodating.
We loved the sheep. :)
4.5
The facilities, the location, the staff everything was great. We had dinner the arctic char and salad which was delicious as well. The room was clean and had everything you need with beautiful view.
The only thing that me and my friend actually thought it was disappointing was the breakfast. Didn't have much choices as other places did for example there was just an option to make yourself ham and cheese sandwich or cereal. Also, one customer was touching all the food items with her hands so probably a team member present would be helpful to explain that that's not particularly great.

Lovely cottages located in an amazing surrounding just one minute drive from Fjaðrárgljúfur. Very peaceful and quiet. Coffee/tee maker available. Every cottage has a llittle terrace to enjoy the evening on. The stuff was unbelievably nice and kind and definitely made our stay special. The food (dinner and breakfast) was simply delicious - for me the best grilled lamb I've tried on Iceland
The bathroom was a bit small but that's negligible
4.5
Nice, warm and clean house, excellent location, good restaurant with fresh food from own farm, breakfast included. Quiet place.
Shower has too small tank, not enough water for 3 people, and very low water pressure. I have long hair, and had difficulties to clean my head.
4.5
What an appropriate size it was with all amenities. And very clean and well kept and an excellent location.
Breakfast could have more variety and car parking of each cottage should have been separate.

Very friendly staff. the food in the restaurant was excellent, especially the lamb. Also enjoyed the breakfast there.
Staff recommended a local area to visit which was beautiful, so very grateful for them to tell us.

location, clean, things are well appointed.
friendly staff.
we could hear the sheep go bleh in the evening and morning which was really cute.
summer pricing surge, but that happens everywhere

It was good

Breakfast is simple but ample. The room is quite spacious with a wash basin in our room so we could brush teeth and refill our water bottle just in our room. The location of the cabins is breathtaking, surrounding by mountains, pine trees and a river. I even saw some sheep on the hill at night when we arrived at the cottage.
The heating was not working. The blanket could keep us warm enough throughout the night, however, our wet clothes wasn't dried in the morning. No shower gel, shampoos, and conditioner provided.
3.0
The common faculties- restaurant, bar, breakfast room were quite nice. The staff were friendly and told us to go see the gorge- which was spectacular.
The room is quite basic- nothing luxurious. Lots of light comes in first thing in the morning- they need thicker blinds. They also had a large bus group staying while we were there, so we got ignored quite a bit at dinner. Breakfast was basic and could do better

Great location near canyon in lovely surroundings
4.5
Our cottage was great and very cosy. Beautiful views and the canyon down the road is amazing!
The breakfast choices were very poor and limited. The cottage isn't very sound proof so if you have noisy people in room next to you it could be an issue.

comfortable beds. Very clean!!! even the floors were spotless. the location near the canyon was awesome!! just up the road.
WiFi was bad in our cabin, had to put phone in window for occasional signal. makes it hard for planning next day without proper signal.
breakfast was ok with ham, cheese, cereal and bread. coffee and tea.
we did not eat at the restaurant for dinner.
WiFi.
pillows bit lumpy, but that is being picky
