Nothing. The house was a multi occupancy property, ie a student house.
It wasn’t clean and smelt bad. I was repeatedly bitten by bugs. There was cigarette ash on floor when we arrived. Wifi based tv didn’t work. One shower couldn’t maintain constant temp. Overall shocking. I doubt the top room in attic was fire complaint.

Easy access to Tube station
Bit old house.

The location is great!
We stayed at this property for a week. There is a serious leak in the ceiling beneath the only shower, with water pouring through the ceiling and down to the dining room. this has been an issue for some time, and instead of fixing it the owner has attempted to put a bandaid on the problem. on our very first night we had water raining through the ceiling and down into the dining room. When the ‘plumber’ came out to address the issue he told me it was because my ‘bigger body had been splashing around too much while showering’ even though I hadn’t used the shower yet, other members of my group had. This trip was supposed to be fun and relaxing, and instead was incredibly stressful due to the problems at this house. We also had problems with the oven, and ultimately could not use it during our stay. The house itself is dingy and could use a proper cleaning. The baseboards are filthy, and everything feels worn down and deteriorating. The linens are threadbare and stained in some places, the pillows incredibly flat, the beds hard. Overall, it just feels like this home hasn’t had any sort of upkeep in a long time. This property should be taken off the market until they can fix the incredibly pressing issues they have. The second time the ‘plumber’ came out he even admitted that to fix the issue they would need to bring a construction crew in and they were unwilling to do that. The host even tried to say that the guests before us had stayed there for weeks and hadn’t complained about the huge leak, which can only be true if the guests never used the only shower the house has during their stay. I have been in constant contact with Booking.com to have this property deemed unfit for future stays.

The location and access to shops, public transport, motorways, private parking and quiet street was perfect for our needs. The facilities provided were perfect for a 17 day stay for a family of 5 including 3 teenagers from overseas during the christmas period. Excellent heating, plenty of hot water, it was snug and cosy. Lots of cupboard space in bedrooms and kitchen. Loved the lazyboy sofa. 2 toilets appreciated. Decent sized fridge freezer and good vacumn! Lots of electrical sockets.
The condition of the carpet and furniture was more worn and basic than the photos show and linen and pillows not as cosy as photos suggest. The beds looked slept in on arrival, we borrowed sheets from family and spent the first few days washing all of the duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases. One bed only had a valance as a sheet. 5 towels, 1 teatowel were provided and so we also borrowed additional for our extended stay. Be aware the room with the loft was cold so extra bedding was required. The shower does leak onto the floor at the tap end. The neighbours were moving out and were up all hours banging around for the first week.

The accommodation was fairly ok. Neighbours were good. The area was quite
The indirect extortion for not refunding my deposit. Claiming we broke house rules. If it's a home away from home we should allowed guest/s. We were not told we should not have any guest/s. Television and mini speakers were played at a reasonable decibel and not disturbing the neighbours. The garden was for us to used and they claimed we were making noise. The neighbours and us were good no complaint. All rubbish were disposed of appropriately. They had a faulty chair in the garden I fell and hurt myself, maybe I should claimed on that since they do not want to refund me my deposit. No smoking were done in the house they've claimed we did. My daughter left her mini speaker there, I have requested it and for it to be posted and being ignored.

The location
The host took ages to respond to my questions about access to the property.
The dishwasher was broken.
The sofa was broken.
There was no rail on the stairs which was very dangerous for young children!
A number of things in the property were damaged and unsafe including the corner of the bath, most of the doors curtains and the shower.
Our 2 year old locked himself in a bedroom and there were no keys available to unlock the door. We therefore had to break the door to gain access to get him out.
The doors would not have met fire regulations.

What I liked about the property is that it had a lot of rooms and a garden. Also, TV in living room and main room
What I didn’t like was the cleanliness. Beds and wardrobes could be cleaned better (behind and under beds)
