Very open and close to the airport
There were some dirty areas by the walls on the floor that I noticed

The location was perfect for where I needed to be. The check in was incredibly easy with designated lock box. Free parking was a superb bonus. The room was very big for just myself.
It wasn't cleaned to a good standard. It looked more run down then what was shown in the pictures. The linen didn't smell freshly cleaned. The bathroom had belongings in it from whomever was there previously. You could hear everything going on around the house. I was asked to send a picture of my ID before I even checked in, which did not make me feel safe. The lights flickered in the room.

Good location for airport ..
I stayed in number room 2 and while I went to sleep at 9 pmI found myself waking up at 11ish due to noise from the owner kitchen so I had to wait till they finished for me to try and get back to sleep ..

Convenience of location in relation to Heathrow Airport and the large driveway. Really liked how proactive the owner was in providing information on how to access the room key, made the process really easy.
The shared bathroom was very unclean, lots of used toothbrushes and other resident’s products in the shower. The shower tray didn’t drain very easily which meant the bathroom mat was completely sodden. A lot of general grime in and around the shower itself as well as dust/spider skins and bugs behind the door and on the window sill. The bedroom was okay however a double duvet was given for a single bed and there wasn’t a mirror - not major but just a basic I’d like when staying somewhere. The property was quite noisy with other rooms on the same floor playing loud music until quite late. Finally, a message was received from the owner asking for ID for security reasons prior to my arrival, I didn’t feel comfortable sending this over booking.com and as such ignored the request - this had zero impact on my booking and isn’t something I feel the owners should continue doing.

The host was incredibly friendly, kind and responsive. Our favourite part of the visit was his friendly greeting and helping us quickly when there were problems.
There was a shared kitchen that had most of the basics and a large shared fridge and freezer which allowed us to save a lot of money buying from Aldi (a bus ride away). There was a washing machine attached to the kitchen but it was always in use whilst we were there, so you might have to be quick to get your items in with so many people sharing the same space - but it was nice that it was provided.
The room was a decent size and there was a small desk that I was able to do some work on my laptop at.
The location was decent for what we needed (only an hour or so to the airport and equally as much into central london) - even with all the bus delays, diversions and cancellations happening there at this time.
Because of the location and proximity to London and Heathrow, we believed the price to be quite good, though would not recommend staying for the 3 nights we did due to the uncomfortable conditions.
When we arrived, the shower screen was missing, there was a new door leaning up against the wall, and there was danger tape in the bathroom. The host told us that the glass had spontaneously shattered the night before and injured the guest and that it would be fixed by tomorrow. We were there for 3 days but no one ever came, so the water went everywhere. The bath mat was soaking wet, cold and extremely uncomfortable when accidentally stepped on.
The water was mostly cold so showers were awful, and the few times it went hot it was scalding. The bathroom (and parts of the bedroom) was dirty with marks everywhere and whilst the host pointed out that some were stains that could not be removed - there was definite grime and residue in some places that could be removed by a finger.
We tried to cook in the oven downstairs and 20 minutes later found our food was still cold. It turns out only the light works but no heat, though the small grill above did work as an oven. We wish there would be a sign put on it or something so us and the others that were trying to cook did not waste so much time.
The bed was foamy and generally not very comfortable and there was only a thin blanket on the bed, though a big uncovered duvet we later found in the cupboard.

Nothing. It was disgusting.
THE OTHER REVIEWS MUST BE FAKE! The place was dirty, nothing like the pictures, dead flies on window sill. Downstairs toilet was out of order and so no use for persons with mobility issues. Place was so bad I was refunded some of my money after having to debate this with the male and left without staying. It was a health hazard. Only refunded once i was going to seek legal advice from my daughter. Like a very bad dirty hostel.

The host is really very good, humbled and helpful. Facilities are undoubtedly amazing! Fridge, microwave, toaster, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, even utensils, crockery and cutleries are available there. Rooms are clean, well decorated and comfortable. Also the bus stop, supermarket and restaurant is very close to this place. Overall I've completely enjoyed my stay!
