Overall a very good hotel other than the weather-related issues

Breakfast was good. Pastry was great! Dinner menu was limited but the slow-cooked lamb shank was delicious. Staff was super friendly

Rooms open directly to the wildness. Had to walk to the restaurant in the rain. Wind and rain pounding on windows/door the entire night. Wishing the insulation had been better

Breakfast did not contain warm food like eggs, pancakes etc. Pillows and linen where not comfortable Rooms were separated from the main building so you had to walk to have breakfast etc. There wasn't a place like lounge to relax - the cafe wasn't very comfortable to seat and maybe far from the pictures Location is good to explore but there is no store close except a gas station in 3 km away

It is located at a convenient crossroads. They had a really nice breakfast.

There is no interior hallway to the reception or breakfast areas from the room, which would be really nice, given the weather. Staff was just going through the motions.

Outstanding service and delicious food, but hotel could be more chic

- extremely nice staff - very good food (dinner) - big rooms - good location to visit all important stops on the half island - gluten-free and vegan options available - cosy cafe with delicious homemade cakes, cookies …

- furniture in the rooms was a bit old fashioned and bathroom had nearly no storage space - hotel located directly next to two main streets - Exhaust air of the kitchen directly next to rooms (smell)

Very pleasant surprise. Beautiful room and location.

The room was absolutely beautiful, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The TV was a smart TV with Netflix, so we were able to be proper couch potatoes for the only time the week that we were in Iceland. It was a very comfortable room.

The shower was luke-warm. Unfortunately no matter how long we ran it for, it never got hot.

We made a reservation to novmber 22 although we meant fir july 23. We were not in Iceland on november 22. Clearly a mistake but hotel has not been responsive

Zero communication with the hotel. We had a problem but the hotel doea not communicate. It was our mistake we asked very nicely for a compromise. They could not agree BUT THE DON'T REPLY EVEN IF JUST TO SAY NO 😪

Amazing staff and food

Amazing food and staff. The best dinners we found on the west of Iceland. The staff is very helpful and kind. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast had a good food diversity and I like that we had a Nespresso machine.

Excellent stay

Comfy hotel almost in the middle of nowhere :) Friendly staff. The hotel has a restaurant, which is quite convenient for dinner and that we recommend. Would come back again. Ps. As Italians, we appreciated a lot the Nespresso coffee machine for breakfast

I had a room with private bathroom, a double bed, and other commodities. Everything was clean and neat. All in all, excellent stay.
