Restless Night

Close to the airport. It was clean. Easy to get to. Space in room.

The beds were uncomfortable with one a sofa pull out bed and the other two springy twins. For this price, I was hoping for a comfortable bed and a restful night sleep. No secure parking. Breakfast and coffee not satisfactory compared to other Italianlodging. Sketchy location between two highways and we did not feel safe with our family. Very unsafe to cross the street due to speeding traffic. Not good for single women or families. Cash only. Needs improvement. Not a 9 star as rated on Booking.com

Exceptional

Leonardo was amazingly hospitable. The room was large, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was superb. Nothing was too much trouble and Leonardo picked me up and dropped me off at the airport for €15 each way. Very good price. The house is beautiful and I would love to return during the summer.

Great location next to the airport, owners are very nice and helpful, they don’t speak (much) English though

It was very close to the airport and the owner dropped us off very early in the morning for a small fee. They also prepped us breakfast to take with. The place is a guest house next to the owners house.

It’s great if you need to be close to the airport, but that’s basically it. It’s certainly not a place for long stay, given it’s location

Location very close to the highway, train station and airport. Not more than 5 mins drive to the terminal and rental car parking. So very good for travelling, not so good for calm stay. Beds comfortable, polite and helpfull italian only speaking owners.

Cash only payment. Bathtub shower with no curtain.

It is perfect place to stay near airport before departure or after arriving.

We spent in property one night after late arriving to airport. Leonardo met us in airport, as we agreed and then everything was fine. We checked in at midnight time without problem, room was comfortable, internet connection good. Breakfast was tasty, we enjoyed staying there.

Shower needs maintenance, the rest was ok.

Underground place, no windows for vendilation. Most important, dirty toilet, dirty bedsheets, dirty towels.The bedsheets has been not being changed. We found hair on the bed and on the toilet.When we showed to the host they said, that is just some hair. They didn't care. Also isolated place. We didn't feel safe. Parking is on the street. Definitely not for couples and families. Ιnsufficient breakfast.

Shoddy stay

First of all the room was underground, which is okay, but not the best … The door key and the bathroom door did not work properly, only 2 towels (one dirty) were provided per person, distance from the airport proved to be more than 30 minutes on foot. However, most of all, I am quite disappointed about breakfast: only one unfrozen ‘pasticcio’ per person and some pieces of focaccia! Drinking one whole Moka is bad seen if you have an early flight at 6 am …

Great

The stay in Villa Nicolaus was really good. The big advantage is the close proximity to the airport in Bari. You can get there about 5 minutes by car or 25 minutes by foot. The room was clean and all interiors makes impression with its classy and elegant style. Owners are really kind and makes us feel comfy. The breakfast was tasty. Good communication to Bari - train station is next to villa and ticket costs only 1,5 euro. Good price comparing to quality

Superb

The breakfast was wonderful filled with everything you could want and we had a good nights sleep. Despite the language barrier, the staff were friendly and super helpful.

Lovely, helpful owners

This is a great property to stay at if you have an early start for Bari airport. The staff were very flexible and helpful for an early check in. The property is out of town but it is possible to walk to the station and get a train to Bari. Breakfast was provided early for us also.

The location for the airport is great but it is out of town as a holiday base.

Beautiful apartment with a lot of space. Leonard and his family are very kind, helpful.

I do not think there was something bad about the Villa Nicolaus. Only in the surrounding, we had troubles to find some decent place to eat and to swim.
