The location is great for me because it was near my cousin's house. A great place to stay for a day or 2, more like a hotel.
The host tries hard to make the place comfortable and to accommodate my requests eg for hand towels, extra clothes hangers.
I feel the apartment is not suitable for mid to long term stays of more than 3 days especially if you intend to make breakfast. I stayed 5 days with my husband and it felt crammed. There is no where we could place our large suitcases (we are tourists travelling 3 weeks in California).
I would have liked hand towels, dish towels, more clothes hangers (only 5 were provided initially) without having to ask. Only bath towels were provided. Also we could not use the microwave and the kettle at the same time because they were connected to the same power outlet which had other appliances attached to it.
I think there are also other rooms being let out on the premises and there are occasional bursts of loud conversations but this very quickly dies down. Not great if you are an early and /or light sleeper.

Sweet space, enough room for the two of us, comfortable bed and sofa bed. We woke up Sunday morning early to see a family of peacocks crossing the driveway and coming onto the lawn - magical! Plenty of shampoo and soap provided. Clean floor and bathroom, clean living room. Lots of extra blankets and pillows. Kitchen was spacious with an adjoining dining room.
Needed more power strips given we had telephones and computers to charge (had to unplug the microwave and fridge temporarily). Some street noise but not too bad, and lights from passing cars - darker curtains might be nice. The sliding glass door screens had holes so we couldn't keep the doors open, to avoid bugs. There were no mugs for hot water.
