The couch in the waiting area have their own fan, it was very nice for us to take a rest, especially after a walk. The decorations in the hotel was very beautiful. The utilities provided in the hotel room were sufficient.
There was a bit of a musty smell in the room, the pillow had a terrible damp smell as well. I understand that it is a heritage hotel but it would have been better if the bed and pillow were renewed regularly.

Friendly and helpful staff.
The room is a bit smelly, may be the ventilation is not that good. Facilities inside the room are lacked of maintenance.

Strategic location for food.
Noisy. Bad sound proof. Smelly woof furniture
2.0
Great location. Close to all the main attractions.
The place is quite dated. Found an empty beer bottle in our room and the wifi was broken. Did not receive room service until very late in the afternoon. There’s no phone in the rooms and no one answers the calls from the phones in the foyer, so it was difficult to send in any requests without going down physically to see reception. Also could do an an extra key per room. They only give you one.

Fairly clean, like the heritage feel and the street was quiet and peaceful.
The table lamp exploded in the middle of the night and aircond have lound noise and keep on leaking. Both dangerous and make my stay uncomfortable.
Didn't notice the amenities were put on a table in the lobby for us to take ourselves until checking out, the staff didn't inform us about this when we're checking in.
1.5
Just the location.
It's an old hotel in desperate need of renovation. Thins walls meant you could hear your neighbours upstairs and next door having a talk and all their hacking coughs. The pipes were especially bad! You could hear the water pressure just roaring through them. It's also by a mosque so you WILL hear the prayers. The floors were sticky and there was also just a musty smell everywhere. I wouldn't stay here again.

Location.
It's a very old hotel. It needs a touch of old school style incorporated into the interior design. Rooms need to be designed better. Everything looks old. However the staff are the best part of the deal. Very helpful and accommodating. I would still recommend this hotel to friends who are not fussy.
