Perfect Stay

Beautiful views and very comfortable room, a good breakfast and perfect spot to go into the mountains. Good private parking The lady who checked us in and looked after us was lovely and spoke very good English. would recommend this place as a stop in the journey or use as a base for adventures

Nice friendly staff and good breakfast.

Staff were lovely and readily available if needed. There was a coffee machine and fridge in the room. Good shower and bathroom. Breakfast was good and lots of choice.

Only 1 coffee pod each. So you could only have one drink which seemed a bit mean and no other drink in the room option. Not clear if you could ask for more? The walls were quite thin so you could hear other people in their rooms and their bathroom through the wall by your bed. Probably our least favourite accommodation on our trip because of that unfortunately.

Bonne étape à l’Ouest des Pics d’Europe dans un joli petit village sympathique

Hôtel bien situé pour visiter une autre partie des pics. Bonne literie. Accueil agréable. Plateau de courtoisie. Très bon petit-déjeuner complet avec œufs dans une salle agréable.

La première chambre était très petite mais nous avons pu en changer le lendemain, ce qui donne une impression beaucoup plus positive de l’hôtel. Vue sur la cour d’une école mais heureusement nous étions le week-end. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de resto au sein de l’hôtel car les deux seuls restaurants du village ne sont pas tops.

Super-friendly staff and a beautiful location.

Lovely breakfasts, and really comfortable rooms. The staff were great and were super keen to make sure you had a wonderful stay. The village was very picturesque to walk around, with a couple of bars where you could eat well. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Amazing hotel in an amazing location with great staff

Great service and super friendly staff - incl nice breakfast. This hotel is superb located in the mountains close to nice hiking routes and offers everything you need. The staff was so friendly that they prepared breakfast on our last day although we left at 5 AM.

Overall it was excellent. Good breakfast, very helpful staff, comfortable and spacious apartment, large kitchen, adjacent and locked parking.

In the village where the hotel is located there is no supermarket, the kitchen could be more equipped (for example soap, sponge, cutting board, beer opener...). No towels were changed (those that should have been changed already...)

Good accommodation, lovely breakfast, safe parking and absolutely stunning views.

The bed was really comfy and the room was a good size. The shower was great and the view from the room was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was typically Spanish and there was plenty of it! Parking was good and really secure and shaded. We just had a brilliant time there and were sad to leave. I am sure we will go back.

The room was a little warm but was always shaded when cleaned so was cooler when we got back. The milk at breakfast was warm/hot (for coffee) so not really my thing for cereal! But don't let my personal preference for cold milk on cereal put you off staying here. Otherwise it was all brilliant, and we'll be back for sure.

Slightly disappointed there wasn’t a bar. There is such a lovely terrace and to sit out with a glass of wine Would have been lovely. But that is such a minor thing. There are 3 bars in the village

Absolutely lovely hotel in a stunning setting.

Convenient parking. Most attentive, personable staff I've ever experienced. Well-maintained. Nice breakfast. Perfect location for starting a Ruta del Cares hike from Cain, if you want to see the most scenic part without doing the full 25km roundtrip.

Cold Damp But Very Tidy Well Looked After

We were 4 Motorcyclists who had just ridden for 3 hours in torrential rain no drying room or central heating on in either of our rooms Only way to get warm was to get in bed? Sept Booking & Cost More Than a 4 Star Hotel

Exceptional

A great village location in a stunning vally with good walks from the doorstep. Hosts who are knowledgeable and passionate about the area. Secure parking. We ate well at the two local bar/restaurants (a short walk away). A nice breakfast with home made cakes.

Nothing.... though like all the Spanish hotels we stayed at this trip: plastic wrapper on loo to say its clean, plastic cups in plastic bags and single servings of jams etc again in plastic. An easy fix to reduce this plastic waste.

A wonderful place to unwind.

Very friendly owners, who really take care of the guests. An amazing view and a modest but very comfortable hotel. Full quiet for who wants a real rest in nature. Walking and biking when you step out of the hotel, canoeing nearby too.

not delivering as requested

Decent accommodation but basic breakfast.

I booked a twin room 2-3 weeks before our stay before being informed by the owner - after the cancellation limit - that it was not possible to accommodate as requested. We discovered about it only after arriving there. Tried to solve the issue with him and with the help of booking.com without success. Of note, the village has only one resto which displays poor reviews on Tripadvisor. We confirm the poor reviews as per our own experience. Think twice about staying in the village.

Stay here, it is exceptional

A fantastic hotel. Very clean in a beautiful location. The hosts are lovely and extremely helpful and could not do more to make you welcome. A plentiful breakfast and excellent secure parking. Highly recommended.

Exceptional

Albert and Hanna gave us a very warm welcome in this beautiful and unspoilt little village. They helped us find a perfect walk in the hills, among the butterflies, birds and wild flowers. . Hanna's home baking for breakfast was delicious. We slept very well.

I had a great stay at the Hotal. Albert is a hard working and very friendly guy. He and his wife have changed their life to manage this Hostal in the mountains of Pico's. I wish you and your family all the best in the future and when I am in neighbourhood again I will certainly stay again!
