Wunderschönes Hotel mit ein paar Makel

Die Lage und das Hotel an sich sind großartig. Es ist abgelegen und ruhig, aber trotzdem nicht ab vom Schuss. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und der Frühstücksraum sehr gemütlich und wunderschön. Wäre es bei uns grad nicht so stürmisch gewesen, hätte man auch ideal baden können.

Leider muss ich zwei Punkte abziehen, das ausschließlich unser Zimmer betraf. 1. Das Zimmer hat sich über den ganzen Dachboden erstreckt und hatte nur im vorderen Bereich zur Terrasse Fenster - im Wohn-/Essbereich und Bad gab es kein natürliches Licht. Wenn man das vorher weiß, ist es ok - die Bilder auf Booking waren da nur etwas irreführend. Die Einrichtung wirkt auch nur lieblos hingestellt, ohne Konzept und nicht wirklich gemütlich. 2. Das Zimmer war leider nicht sauber - in der Küche lag noch das Essen von den Vorgängern am Boden, die Schubladen der Kästen und Kommoden waren voll mit Haaren und Dreck und unter dem Bett war eine dicke Staubschicht. Auch auf den Nachtkästchen konnte man eine Staubschicht sehen. Wir haben das reklamiert und es wurde auch noch einmal geputzt - nur leider hat sich nicht wirklich was verändert, also keine Ahnung wie da geputzt wurde. Wenn die zwei Punkte verbessert werden, wäre das Hotel aber ein absolutes Juwel.

Wir werden es all unseren schweizer Freunden gerne weiterempfehlen

Alles war super! Das Hotel liegt sehr romantisch am See. Ein kleines Saunahäuschen direkt am Wasser für uns alleine. Die Kanufahrt am Morgen auf dem spiegelglatten See war echt toll. Das Abendbuffet mit typisch schwedischen Gerichten war super lecker und das Frühstücksangebot sehr reichhaltig. Der Chef Joachim war sehr hilfsbereit in allen Angelegenheiten.

Bra frukost. Allt fanns. Härlig sluttning ner mot sjön med fin brygga och liten sandstrand. Trevliga trädgårdsmöbler. Fin omgivning. Och bara ett stenkast från E4.

Middagspriserna var på tok för höga.

Totalbetyget är bra, jag kommer välja detta hotell igen!

Frukosten var jättebra, allt jag brukar äta fanns och utsikten var hänförande, det geografiska läget vid sjön är fantastiskt. Jag gillar dessutom gamla miljöer som här kombineras med modern standard på ett mycket bra sätt! Fri och enkel parkering är alltid ett plus.

Då jag är lång så gillade jag inte snedtaket i mitt rum, draperi i duschen är inte heller min favorit.

Charmigt och hemtrevligt. Rymligt rum och superskön säng. Joakim och hans fru har gjort ett fantastiskt jobb med varsam renovering och bibehållen charm. Extra plus för fin frukost och att hundar är välkomna

I huvudsak bra men ganska dyrt. Frukost borde ha ingått.

Vacker gård, vackert läge och utsikt

lite långt bort från Gränna centrum när man inte har bil. Dåliga bussförbindelser. Buss vid 7-,7,30tiden. Sedan inte buss förrän vid 12-tiden. Detta gjorde att vi fick hasta oss iväg vid 7-tiden för att inte fastna vid Smålandsgården och omnejd där det inte fanns något att göra. Vi tänkte åka till Visingsö vid 9-10-tiden men det regniga vädret hindrade oss, men hann med ett par trevliga museumbesök innan bussen gick till Jönköping.

Rigtigt hyggeligt sted med god beliggenhed og god restaurant og flink personale.

Meget god morgenmad og restaurant var også rigtig god. Hotellet havde en dejlig beliggenhed ved en sø.

better don't come off season. the location is great, but the place is not reliable.

the location on the lake is absolutely amazing. it's a really beautiful place.

we specifically asked before we booked if there is a restaurant on site, since we arrived after a long drive from Stockholm with a young child. we were promised that despite it is off season, there will be food for us. furthermore, the booking mentioned a possibility for a good breakfast for an extra fee, which we counted on. However when we arrived the restaurant was closed and the owner did not offer any food! nor did he offer any compensation for our disappointment. we had to drive further at night to look for something to eat. very disappointing.

Nice and cosy hotel by the lake near Gränna

The studio we booked was spacious , cosy and comfortable. Own terrace was luxury. The building itself is very picturesque. Free parking. Peaceful village. The shore of the lake next to the hotel meant possibility to swim. A positive surprise was that breakfast was included, contrary to what Booking.com informed when booking. Also restaurant would have been available. Good breakfast in a cozy space. Very friendly host. It is easy to recommend the hotel to other travelers.

Cozy and well situated for a quiet romantic time.

I absolutely adored the location. I thought it would be at Vättern lake. But it is actually some 10 km inland, by a smaller lake. But this is also very cozy.

No TV in rooms. The Spicy chicken is not spicy enough.... ;)

Comfortable hotel for a relaxing getaway

We liked everything about the Smålandsgården. Comfortable, nice room with proper armchairs to sit & relax, good view to the lake and garden, a balcony, good bed, good shower. And best of all, with its own personal charm, away from the standard chain offers. We only stayed for a stopover night, but it deserves a longer stay. Perfect for a getaway.

excellent location, beautiful surroundings, very nice and helpful staff, especially the owners

our room was very small and there was hardly any space to store anything or even put away our cases. The room wasn’t serviced unless you specifically requested it.

Exceptional

The setting and grounds are absolutely beautiful! We stayed in a small cabin which was comfortable, clean and private. The food was also delicious with beautiful spaces to dine both inside and out. Morning coffee and breakfast on the terrace was exceptional. We also enjoyed using the kayaks to explore the lake and fish (my husband caught some pike!). We would definitely go back and have recommended it to my parents who are planning a trip with friends. Thanks!

Great breakfast with oat milk on request. Vegan options for lunch and dinner which is great! The location is calm and surrounded by nature. We used the saune and swam in the lake - big recommendation! The staff is super nice. The room was a little small but perfectly fine for a couple of nights.
