The apartment was in a great location close to everything but quiet. We loved our stay!! Our host was very helpful and made us feel welcome. Very close to the station 2min walk and to the start of the walk to Montorossa.
The stairs were a challenge but we didn't mind. It should be mentioned in the description.
4.3
It is really close to city center and you don’t need to climb stairs to go to beach and come back to hotel.
It was not clean, there were a lot of hairs on the ground and dust was in everywhere

Located in the heart of Vernazza this 3 story terraced home was quintessentially authentic. Gemmy the host was lovely and met us at the property shortly after arrival. The property is a few minutes walk from the train station.
The property is over three levels with lockable bedrooms on each level. Only the top bedroom has access to the rooftop terrace.
Just a one minute walk and you have access to the cafes and restaurants.
Very steep and narrow steps so thank goodness I had my husband to take up the luggage.
Aircon was very weak and we struggled with the heat.
Wi-Fi was also weak so ended up using our data.
4.3
Small but comfortable room, clean, great location not up too many stairs.
You will need signal to follow the QR code to access the information to get onto the wifi. Wifi is quite poor.

We couldn’t recommend this accomodation enough. Great location, Gemmy is amazing host and when she saw we are coming with a lot of luggage and my husband had a broken ankle she tried to tried to get help so I didn’t have to carry the suits cases by myself. Beautiful location and even most of the locals were very helpful too.

lovely atmosphere nestled in the appartments of the town.

The location is great, the place is clean and very cute. The host was lovely and very flexible and welcoming. Only basic items provided, but it was ok for our 3-day stay, and whatever we needed, it was easy to get as lots of little shops and small supermarkets near by for the everyday needs. Train station is super close, but location was quiet and felt safe. A must for everyone is to experience a meal at the restaurant called Bar Le Torre, the best food around, great service, the view is amazing and it’s only few minutes walk (up hill). The restaurant was the highlight of our stay.
Not enough heating, luckily we had few warm winter days. But at night, we had to sleep with lots of jumpers etc to stay warm. The other reason I would go back was the cigarette smell from the rooms below us. We are a non-smoking family, and we couldn’t walk through the corridor fast enough, trying to open and closing our door quickly so the smell would go in with us too much. The smell was so strong, we had all our clothes and hair smelling. That was really off for us.

The view and the terrace were spectacular. The room had all we needed. 33rd anniversary was quite romantic.
my wife and I humped our large suitcases up the three flights of nearly vertical staircases. My wife had a sore shoulder for a day from the effort. I said I would make two trips but she is a trooper.

great location in Vernazza excellent views especially the rooftop terrace, our host Gemma was so nice and accommodating.

Location, rooftop terrace, host.

The location is great, looking onto a quiet tiny courtyard steps from the main part of town. The property was very clean. Once inside, Gemmy has a well organized list of recommendations and information about the property ready! We appreciated having a little fridge and a clothes rack. There were two fans - a ceiling fan that was rather loud, and a stand fan that was quieter - so helpful! This property is definitely better for people in good physical shape, which worked fine for us.
Check in was very stressful as no instructions were sent until 4 hours before we arrived, despite asking several times. By that time, we were already en route and could not receive emails/texts, so we had to call Gemmy when we arrived to let us in, and she had to run down, which she immediately did and was only 5 minutes away. The room was a bit narrow so it was difficult to get around the bed, which is in between double and queen sized.
4.3
the location was superb. roof terrace ideal for lounging and dining with cracking views over the rooftops and to the sea.
minor comment - more plentiful cutlery/ crockery but not a major issue.
4.3
Beautiful terrace and good location. Host was very friendly.
We were only provided one sheet on bed and no other blanket. Also the bathroom smelled like sewage.

Very helpful host! Gemmy was very nice & accommodating unfortunately the room that we booked had a problem with the bathroom so we were relocated to Gemmy’s friends house and stayed with Barbara who was lovely! it was clean and the location was great!

The location is perfect! The hostess was such a lovely lady and helped me to make my stay as comfortable as possible.
Unfortunately there wasn’t a small fridge to keep some groceries cold.

Roof deck is great.

The host was lovely and responded quickly to messages. The property was brilliantly clean and tidy. The owner had put out little shampoos. would definitely stay in this property again.

It was a great stay and we truly enjoyed our stay, the place is perfectly located and the terrace was so amazing to have and enjoy. We used recommendations for boat cruise and it was great as well.
There are stairs to get up to the place but well worth it for the view.

location. terrace.

Host was really friendly and helpful, with great suggestions for restaurants! Location was perfect as is just off the main high street. We were also able to leave our luggage in the foyer on the day we checked out.
Was a bit hot when we visited due to heatwave, so better aircon would have been appreciated.
4.3
great location in town, friendly staff, clean, fresh towels. the staff responded quickly and were very helpful with questions
no air conditioning so a quite hot to sleep. It did have 2 x fans but they were very noisy so couldn’t sleep with them on. The fridge didn’t work unfortunately. using the key on the bedroom door was very challenging and fidgety, probably time to get a new lock.
4.3
wonderful private terrace with an amazing view. it might be the best terrace in the town. The room was clean and comfortable and newly renovated. We were travelling by train and it was easy there coming from the station.
everything was great

Great location.
Very nice apartment.
Steep stairs.

Gemmy's place was a perfect spot for our Cinque Terre adventure. The room is right by the train station and has a fridge, table, and adequate bathroom/shower set-up. Those with accessibility concerns should know that the rooms are up steep and twisting stairs, but for two able-bodied young people, it was a perfect combination or price and location. Vernazza must be seen to believed, and Solemagia was a great place to do it from.

The room without tererrace was cosy, with a stunning view on the narrow street, completly different type of accomodation than any other big city hotel or guest house, something where every turist must be at least once. Room is quite small but equiped perfectly, kattle, fridge, cups, tea bags, bathroom equiped perfectly as well, it was a wonderfull time
All was stunning 👌😁

1. Comfortable bed
2. Powerful shower
3. Decor
Very unique place and architecture typical of cinque terre.
Great looking out of window at the twisting passageways!
1. Would expect some sort of
Breakfast for this price.
2. No milk for coffee.
3. No hair conditioner.
It didn’t impact the holiday. We bought a pint of milk and ate out!
