A lovely weekend spent in a cozy room, feeling calm and welcomed in one of Italy’s most beautiful villages.

The location of this cozy room made it perfect for our weekend trip in cinque terre. Just under the castle view, we were part of the lifestyle of the Italian villagers living on these stairs. Chiara was very helpful and friendly which we loved!

Due to the large amount of construction going on in the village when we were there and the fact that the houses are so close together, there were construction noises from everywhere early in the morning.

Location comfort and care

The location was amazing. Chiara met us off the train in the pouring rain. Our room was warm, clean, spacious, and welcoming. The shower was hot, and lots of thoughtful touches were added. Thank you, Chiara, for all your care, even texting us weather conditions so we could plan our day.

Cinque Terre little Gem!

Location was great! not too many stairs compared to others we saw!

No aircon and was extremely warm this year! The no air con is not in common though and the fan was helpful.

Room was fine and the collective area for both rooms to make coffee and prepare food was very convenient.

Location is terrible for 70 year old travelers like me because of all the stairs and quite a lot of outside noise until late at night.

delightful stay in Vernazza with another couple.

perfect for two couples. we had a common area with our friends which worked well.

lots of stairs. they graciously helped us with our bags and came back specifically to carry them to the train station for us. that was over and above. we were very grateful for the assistance as we could not maneuver on our own.

Joy Unbounded!

The owner, Chiara, is wonderful. The two bedrooms with their privacy and bathrooms are great for friends and family. The rooms are nicely decorated. Her knowledge of Vernazza and Cinque Terre are extremely helpful.

great stay in Vernazza

stayed in room “Lola”, location was great, room was good size, bed was just right, shower was good and didn’t leak onto the floor, nice to have a separate eating/prep area outside our room, Chiara was awesome and very pleasant to work with

room felt a little stuffy, would’ve been nice to have a fan

it was good place for a few nights

everything was good.

there was the kitchen with propan, but the lighter was very hard. The smell in the kitchen was little bad, but room and bathroom were good. Be ready don’t find the stairs way to your stay at first time!:)

Enjoyed the local feel on the area. Very few tourists in the town.

Location was very convenient. Enjoyed the balcony overlooking the square. Host meet us at ferry with parking pass for car. She took us to apartment and showed us around.

When windows were open the street noise was louder then expected.

We enjoyed our staying in Vernazza!

The property is very close to the beach and the downtown area. It is spacious and comfortable. Chiara made sure that we were feeling right at home.In the kitchen there was a basket with breakfast goodies.In the bedrooms other baskets with toiletries.Chiara sent us a video with specific information on how to reach and open the property. She is a wonderful homeowner , easy to to reach and fast to respond to any question we had.

We liked everything.

Comfortable: would stay here again. Good value for the price.

Liked the real feel to the place, like having an apartment in the heart of the town. Functional kitchen, good shower, and a decent bed. We also liked that it was right near the water but enough away from the late night dining and street scene.

Wi-Fi was not working in any real way, but I’m not sure it is very good in the neighborhood anywhere.

Great location w accurate description

You can’t beat the location! It’s located right in the middle of where it all happens. Host was very responsive, helpful and sweet.

Small things, not deal breakers. No easy Nespresso machine for coffee (or equivalent), refrigerator needs to be turned on (which takes a little to cool), and cabinet with the coffee was musty smelling which made me wonder about the items in that cabinet.

Friendly and cozy stay

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. There is no lounge or living room but kitchen was spacious enough for breakfast (dinners etc are advised to enjoy in the restaurants just few steps away). Both bedrooms have a full bathroom and windows to open for fresh air. Chiara was very friendly and flexible as our schedule wasn't accurate (arrived by car), but she was regularly in contact, and was even able take our luggage for some hours on Sunday before we left. Overall we had a really nice stay!
