I like that when I arrived I was able to go to my room. And the map provided with nearby stores, restaurants and museums was stellar.
I loved the hotel's decor. I also like the fact you needed your room key to activate the elevator which provided me with a sense of security as a single woman traveling alone.
I think the room was a bit pricey not to include breakfast. And the restaurant was not open when I arrived on December 17, 2023 to Kinley Hotel. I was told there was no chef. And The following day on December 18, 2023 the restaurant wasn't opened. Well, with the closed restaurant at Kinley hotel I was able to explore Cincinnati Fountain and surrounding blocks. So it wasn't that bad.
I'm not a alcohol drinker so I wasn't interested in the bar.
When I went to add another Hotel day due to delay with my return transportation to Detroit, the clerk mentioned a possible discount, but I didn't receive it. If I was thinking I should have made a separate reservation to get the discounted price for the Monday booking.

The big windows were beautiful
The hotel just looked worn. The door was covered in scuffs, the future in the room was dirty in the crevasses and hand lots of scuffs and wear. We arrived 30mins past check-in time and still had to wait 30min for our room.

From the get, the staff was amazing. They were very quick to greet us, welcome us into the hotel and get us checked in. They did a quick tour of the lobby, and we were shown the elevators. When we got to the room is was everything as perfectly described. It was very clean, the downtown view was great overall an excellent location. Close to a handful of good bars, and restaurants. Walking distance from both Great American Ballpark and Paycor Stadium. Along with the Andrew J Brady Music Center. If you’re looking for a beautiful , unique and perfectly crafted hotel; look no further. Enjoy!
If I had to put a negative, is the lack of parking. This is to be expected for a downtown setting, so be prepared for 20+ for parking. Again, not really a complaint as more of a be prepared.

The best pet-friendly and family-friendly room I’ve ever stayed in. We were offered an upgrade to a bunk-style room which was a very cool, amazing concept room. The staff was fantastic!
Location was a little seedy but still ok to walk around.

Location was good.
Valet staff was very rude upon arrival. There were two. One was a supervisor. He was very rude. Water glass in room had lipstick.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Definitely greeted us with smiles. Hotel was within walking distance to plenty.
Small beds... very comfortable, but I am just tall. No parking lot

Good location
Did not receive the room that I booked. The bunk beds are very small and lacking outlets.

Location and cleanliness
Check in was a little delayed, also couldn’t figure out how to use the in room phone to call front desk. Never given a Wi-Fi password either.

The location is downtown is ok but would not consider it a part of OTR. Scott was very pleasant and knowledgeable upon check-in. Also liked the 4pm check-in and noon checkout.
The interaction with the valet was very aggressive as he basically chased us into the lobby (twice) to demand we use his services (there are two none-valet parking spaces in the front of the hotel of which we took one for overnight parking according to posted signage). As my husband was verifying with management that we were ok to park there, the valet began arguing with both my husband and the manager. Regarding the room, it was very hot, the bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable and shower drained so slow that we had to wait an hour between uses.

All of the staff I came into contact with were polite and friendly and wanted to ensure my stay was going well
It’s a small thing I think but the toiletries smelled like they were stale

I loved the rooms and the ambiance of the hotel. Customer service was great.
I wish the hotel would provide more services for eating or getting a quick meal. Breakfast was not good and needs improvement.

I’d say maybe that the rooms are spacious and light
the floors were dusty

I like it that it is close to the ACDA conference rehearsal's location.
There's no microwave.

The lobby and bar was nice but little. It was challenging to get a drink or seat at the bar. The bar tender was wonderful, knowledgeable and kind. Restaurant was uncrowned and food was made fast.
The beds was not as nice as the Hilton or other chains for less money. No breakfast included and the room had no decent views.
8.0
The bed was very comfortable, rooms clean, cute fridge valet attendants, and desk staff were very helpful and friendly.
I didn't like the size of the rooms ....I get the building is older but the size is too small for a queen size beds. Rollaway beds are not available, if needed. But provided xtra linen, etc

Nice bartender
Terrible customer service. Wireless info not provided at desk or in room, led to a lot of frustration. Sophia seems to not care about the customer, and when we asked to speak to the manager, twice, we were not contacted but we were told we could cancel our second night and get that refunded. We used booking.com which did not say there was valet parking so we lugged our stuff from a public garage and found there was valet parking. Upgraded room to a corner room only to find I had views of two brick walls. Couldn’t wait to leave.
