The rooms were lovely and cosy and had all the facilities you’d expect. The food in the pub was really good and the staff were really friendly. Wadebridge was a nice quiet base to explore Padstow and the surrounding beaches.
Our room (on the right hand corridor) was pretty hot.
4.1
Size of the bed.
Black grout in bathroom. Chipped toilet seat. Cracked sink. Dirty throw cushions on bed. Leaking shower screen.
For the price we paid for one night the standard of the room was poor.
4.1
Good breakfast, reasonable evening meal, spacious warm and moderately well appointed room.
A very quirky place, but we liked it and it was good value.
The walk from our room to the main part of the building over damp artificial gras was not wonderful, but we had had very wet weather.

Position
Friendly staff
Complimentary water
Quiet room
Room is a little bit small
Bathroom’s wc wasn’t properly cleaned
4.1
Very large spacious family room. Clean smelt fresh, cream coloured carpets - no marks
Perfect central location, small car park, but found space on both days of our stay.
Dog friendly
Nothing really not to like. We were at the back, next to car parking. A bit noisy when people were arriving, but that didn't bother us, it is what it is.

Central location
Was very slippery on the Astro turf leading to the room

We had the room shown above..room 15. Lovely.
Nice sheets, comfortable bed, good shower, quiet. Breakfast was excellent. You can always gauge an establishment by the quality of the sausage..!!!..had the steak deal one evening and it was good value and good quality. Most importantly, Cask ale is very well kept. Will stay again.
No one to park my car when I arrived..🤷🏼♂️😂
4.1
Great breakfast and evening meal. Very handy parking right behind the hotel.
More powerful shower, but perfectly adequate.

The restaurant was superb room was cosy and decorated lovely with tea, coffee, biscuits and bottles of water which is a nice touch quiet and comfy
On checking in we were asked if we wanted breakfast, we hadn't decided so asked if we could choose in the morning which we were told yes. we were told breakfast was served until 11am (as did the info in the room) and check out was 10.30am which is perfect we decided to have breakfast and left our room (with bags) at 10.10am and was told that they stopped serving breakfast at 10am so that was very disappointing as there was very little open anywhere else in the town

Staff excellent
Location very good, right in the centre of town
Room decor good and homely
Bed/beds (2x singles as 1 double) uncomfortable, had to sleep on the edge as centres either lumpy or not supportive.
Breakfast ok, but not the best quality and very cool in area, so many guests eating with thick tops or coats on, and one member of serving staff with a thick coat on
Loads of rubbish and stuff in area outside back to car park and overspill all on the ground by bins

Location
The male staff weren’t very friendly , and the girl that does the breakfast. She was very miserable as well.

The hospitality was excellent 👌
All good

A popular pub serving good pub food and excellent breakfast.
Staff helpful and pleasant.
Wadebridge is a lovely town with many independent shops and cafés, worth a good walk around.
It is an older building with individual rooms, well illustrated in the photos.
Breakfast included in room price.
It could be noisy; either from fellow guests or from the outdoor areas of the pub below. It was a cool, even cold, evening so we shut the windows.
The bathroom area was quite cramped and the shower area could do with renewing. Toilet noisy at times. However, it was scrupulously clean.
Room 1, 2 singles.

Breakfast was fabulous, and the room we had was very spacious, Location was right in the centre of Wadebridge and was convenient for what we needed.
Parking could be tricky, and some narrow road/steep hills close by. Pillows were too hard for me!
4.1
Friendly and helpful staff.
Do not like the two single beds placed together to make a double bed !
4.1
Our dinner was exceptional, beautifully cooked and quite delicious. Breakfast was another winner.
Our shower water was very very slow to drain away. The drain probably needs plunging.

Very good value for money and clean comfortable room and food excellent
A little awkward to find and park

The breakfast was good & the staff were helpful. The room was comfortable & easy to access & the ensuite bathroom was fairly spacious & well set out. The evening meal was very nice & well served. The staff were all very friendly & helpful.
It was disappointing that we couldn't open the window in our bedroom as we got very stuffy during the night. We are used to having fresh air coming into our room.

Great breakfast included
Located in a lovely lively pub
Friendly staff
Cheaper alternative to Padstow and not too far to drive
Parking included
Floors are a bit noisy and sloping in places

The double room exceeded our expectations, the bed was very comfortable and a great powerful shower. The decor was amazing. The room was exceptional, very clean and roomy.
We also had breakfast which was lovely.
On the 1st night of our stay we also booked dinner in the restaurant. The fish dish, I can honestly say was the best fish dish I have ever had anyway.
All the staff went over and above.
A totally exceptional place to stay and I would highly recommend.
There was nothing not to like.
Everything was exceptional.

The breakfast provided an exceptional choice of foods. I was particularly pleased with what was available for gluten free meals

Breakfast was fab

This was our second trip and the location is excellent. Lovely high street and easy to get around other areas
Sadly the showers are just awful, we had the same room as before and nothing changes. It’s a very old building but if you are aware of issues resolve them. The property is also very hot - staff are very nice and do their best
