Very comfortable beds, well appointed bathrooms and kitchen and an overall lovely home away from home.

Property is great! Loved the house, especially the screened in porch area!! Will visit again

Very peaceful and the screened-in back porch is excellent to relax at. The porch was used much during our stay with the central air and fan not working. The television in the living room was already reported by a previous visitor and the property manager was trying to resolve when we checked in. However the tv never worked. Once the central air and television issues are resolved I wouldn't hesitate to stay at again as the house itself and the back porch were great. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, the bedrooms comfortable and the house very clean. The setting is peaceful with Sylva and the surrounding area a pleasure to be around.

Got away with the pups for a couple of days while work was being done on our house. Perfect fenced in area for the dogs. It’s comfortable, decorated well, clean, & close to town. Everything you’d need is there. Really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay again!

Great Location close to town. Check In process was seamless, and the place exceeded expectations.

When we arrived on a Tuesday, the house was basically in order. Beds were clean as well as bathrooms, but the house is in need of a deep clean and routine maintenance. It appears that there is no inspection before guest arrival. A screen from one of the windows was laying in the yard, the garage, where the ping pong table is located, had not been swept in quite some time, as well as the porch. The twinkle lights on the porch had fallen to the floor and cushions were also on the floor as an example of no inspection. After cleaning up, we sat down to watch a little tv and it did not work. A call was placed to report the problem and we were told that the local agent would be in touch. Chat, call after call, and still no update until Friday when the local agent texted that she had just gotten in to work. This does not seem like a good business model to refer a problem to someone who is actually not available to fix the problem. We were reimbursed for the loss of amenity but it would have gone a long way to have received a return call during our stay and multiple attempts to determine what was being done.

Everything about the house was wonderful! It was clean and well stocked! It was in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything! The screened porch was amazing!

The back porch is lovely! There is a little creek out back that is such a soothing sound while enjoying the porch (Donny worry, you can’t hear it inside). There is a gas fire pit that makes having a fire super easy. This a great home and well-equipped.

Close to towns, restaurants and nature sites. quiet neighborhood with small stream out back and sound of running water. Quality appliances in kitchen, working fire table in screen porch and grill out front.

This was our second time in this cottage, and we already want to go back. We love the open floor plan and the kitchen is splendid -- too bad the restaurants were so good that we rarely cooked! The neighborhood is quiet, and sitting on the screen porch enjoying the fire pit and listening to the brook below is a first-class experience!

This Home is everything you would ever want in a place to take a vacation! It’s pristine cleanliness, plenty of room, a pet friendly home with a fenced in yard! I didn’t know this until I pulled up & I was the happiest woman alive! If my 2 babies can’t stay then I don’t stay! The master bedroom was like an oasis! Bed was super comfortable, my hubby loved the pillows! Kitchen was very well equipped. Back porch was amazing! The girls & I sit out there a lot & they had access to the back yard! Great neighbors around us & the only thing I could say about this place would be…it’s not MINE! Lol
I didn’t want to leave! So close to the town of Sylva & quaint shops & places to eat!!! I WANNA GO BACK❤️

Home is gorgeously updated. We spent a lot of time on the back porch enjoying the creek. Security and safety was breached. Dried poop on toilet. Faucet in kitchen was broken almost to the point of not being able to use it. House wreaked of what I believe was a heavy curry smell. Only thing I received was apologies.

Warm comfortable home with great screened in porch. There are 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (great hot water). High end appliances and well stocked kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed 4 nights at Ripple Run and would certainly stay there again.

The house was exactly as pictured in the listing. The beds were comfortable and the location was very convenient to restaurants in Sylva as well as area attractions. The house and neighbors were extremely quiet. The back screened porch was lovely at all times of the day.

This home was a perfect respite for us as we visited the WCU campus. It was a quick & easy drive (maybe 15 min) to the University, with lots of great restaurants in between. I LOVED the screened porch! From the sound of the creek to the comfy couch & fire table, it was the perfect place to relax in the evenings or any time. We enjoyed the ping-pong table in the basement, too. Although we didn't cook on this trip, we could see that the kitchen had everything you would need to make a nice meal (minus the groceries). Don't forget to bring your ground coffee as there is a coffeemaker. The beds were very comfortable & had nice pillows. I can't say enough nice things about this home.

Great location, lots of room. Great porch for visiting with friends. Loved the gas heater on the porch and the creek waters running when outside. Loved the garage and ping pong table. Pots and pans were well used and somewhat dirty but were very clean when we finished with them. Lots of linen available and use of laundry room keep towels caught up.

Beautiful setting, great location
We greatly enjoyed our stay. We used the firepit on the back porch and listened to the babbling brook, we cooked a delicious meal in the spacious kitchen and enjoyed takeout from the great nearby restaurants, and we watched baseball playoffs. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the heat/AC worked great. This cottage is so convenient to the scenic towns of Dillsboro and Sylva, yet it feels like a country getaway. We can't wait to come back!

Great place to stay
House was clean with the exception of one minor spot on the carpet in the living room. Pictures in the listing are pretty accurate but clearly several years old. Check-in was easy. Location was super convenient and easy to find. Screened in porch was fantastic. Only thing to consider is that the AC unit is LOUD!!! If you're sitting on the back porch you can't hear anything else when it's running. We couldn't sit out there until after dark when we could turn the air off inside the house. Otherwise, a great vacation! Still a 5 star experience.

The the place was great! Very comfortable and updated. We stayed there to be able to go to Gatlinburg and Ashville with many hikes in between.

We loved this updated home! Very clean - which is a must - and the deck was super cozy at night. Loved listening to the flowing water from the little creek in the back.
