A spacious ground floor apartment situated in a bustling market town on the edge of the Peak District, with much on offer for outdoor enthusiasts. . 1 step to entrance.

On road parking or public car park, £2.60 per day, 350 yards away. No smoking.. Renovated in 2019, this wonderful holiday apartment can be found in the bustling High Peak market town of Glossop, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Perfect for couples or friends alike, a hive of activity is available right on the doorstep including high street and independent shops, delicatessens, restaurants and local pubs complete with live bands.
Recognised from its appearance as ‘Royston Vasey’ in TV’s ‘The League of Gentlemen’, Glossop is also renowned for the sheer amount of nearby outdoor activities, from walking, cycling and mountain biking, to rock climbing, hang gliding and caving. The traffic-free Longendale Trail can also be picked up in Glossop, which stretches for 7 miles from Hadfield to Woodhead Tunnel, and is accompanied by spectacular scenery.
Chunal Apartment is conveniently set on the ground floor and offering light and airy accommodation that is ideal for a couple or two friends. The open plan living space provides a good place to sit back, relax or entertain, while the comfortable bedroom with kingsize bed can be converted into twin beds if requested. A four legged friend is also welcome at this lovely apartment.
As the gateway to the beautiful Peak District National Park, an abundance of Peak District towns and villages such as Edale, Castleton, and the famous spa town of Buxton are all within a 30-minute drive, together with the ever popular market town of Bakewell and magnificent Chatsworth House (45 minutes away). There’s a leisure centre and the Victorian swimming baths nearby. Slightly closer to home you’ll find the award-winning Millennium Walkway, and superb Torrs sandstone gorge at New Mills (15 minutes away). The wonderful village of Hayfield neighbours Glossop, and is popular with walkers due its close proximity to Kinder Scout. Hayfield caters well for tourists with its own collection of pubs, cafés and restaurants. If you’re looking for city life, the bright lights of Manchester are just a half hour’s drive away, or 30 minutes on a direct train from Glossop. Shop 170 yards, pub and restaurant 20 yards.

There are several local shops restaurants and pubs within walking distance and the railway station is just round the corner.
We will certainly consider a revisit.
