Views and breakfast 😍

Ventozelo Hotel & Quinta was in the most perfect location for us. Having a car to access the surrounding area was important for us to enjoy the area. The accommodation was extremely comfortable with comfortable beds and great linens. Breakfast was amazing with a great selection served by amazing staff. We came for the wine and the views, both of these were outstanding! Also, check out time being 12:00 was an absolute bonus.

A small thing but important, please provide cups in the room for coffee. Glass without handles is not safe! Also, I couldn’t reach the coffee maker in the room as the shelf was too high.

Waanzinnig!! Absolute aanrader!

Wat een geweldige accommodatie! Het is prachtig: waanzinnig uitzicht, mooie schone kamer, heerlijk zwembad, enorm goed eten in het restaurant, leuke wijnproeverij, gezellig winkeltje. Ook de picknick is een aanrader! Wij komen hier zeker nog terug!

Ik zou niks kunnen bedenken. Alles was echt super!

Splendida quinta poco distante da Pinhao nel cuore della valle del Douro Sospesa tra le dune verdi disegnate dalle viti gode di una bellissima vista sul Douro raggiungibile sino a valle È curata in ogni particolare, offre un museo sulla storia del posto e una piscina panoramica sulla valle Ottima accoglienza e ottima colazione Stanza grande e ben arredata

La cena non è all'altezza del luogo ma accettabile

Vistas de cortar a respiração. Quarto limpo e agradável. Bom pequeno-almoço. Bom restaurante para refeições leves ou completas.

This was our favorite part of our trip to Portugal.

Stunning location and property. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and suite was very comfortable. We stayed in one of the two balão suites, which we loved. I didn’t want to leave.

Stunning setting and architecture! Pics don’t do it justice. Truly beautiful! Outstanding staff, delicious food. Marked hiking trails. Just spectacular. Oh and the room was perfect as well.

Fantástico!!

A quinta é fantástica, existe de forma transversal uma preocupação em que o cliente passe uma boa experiência, a atenção ao cliente é uma constante, assim como a qualidade. A vista da piscina é de tirar o fôlego. Óptimo restaurante e vinhos muito bons!!

Relaxing, interesting and beautiful stay

A nice breakfast with an amazing view. The wine tasting was fantastic, really interesting and geared to whatever level of wine / port knowledge you have. The surroundings were breathtaking and the hotel gardens were beautiful. We would definitely return.

Stayed here for our 1year wedding anniversary. This is the best place to stay at Douro Valley without a doubt!

Everything!!! This is the best place to stay at Douro Valley without a doubt! The staff are amazing, the facilities are beautiful, the views, landscape, vineyards just stunning. Infinity pool with beautiful views. Restaurant food onsite was delicious, octopus carpaccio, superb. Beautiful room, lovely common area.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. It exceeded all my expectations. I just wish we stayed for more than one night.

Ventozelo is the most beautiful and peaceful place, superb staff & food, with the most spectacular views of the Duor

This hotel is rooted in history with sweeping grounds! The wines and port wines are delectable. The rooms are eloquently decorated and have luxurious amenities. The breakfast was just about the best we’ve had across Europe! And lastly the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. A special thanks to our wonderful waiters at breakfast and dinners!

Amazing experience

Everything is amazing here. Don't even think twice to stay here.. The food could be better to match everything else but you will only complain if you are very picky and demanding. Otherwise you will focus on the view, on the amazing location, on the gentleness of the staff.

Lunch. The hotel would be even more amazing if it took some time to invest in the restaurant. Breakfast was amazing, dinner was ok, lunch was not so great. But the restaurant itself offers breathtaking views. If the food is not so good at times, the location more than compensates.

Amazing hotel

Amazing hotel. There is not one thing that could have gone better. The rooms were beautifully decorated, beatutiful bathroom, beautiful terrace. The infinity pool was amazing, there are seperate terraces created for the louger chairs, so they feel more private. Also the restaurant was very good.

More hooks in the room for towels and jackets? :)

The views are amazing. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The food was top class and paired with their excellent wines made every meal a wonderful experience

We stayed in one of their Balaos, which didn't have a hand towel rail in the bathroom or a plug socket for the hair dryer.
