Muy recomendable.

La recepcionista encantadora, la limpieza impecable, la oferta de agua, té, café y otros 24h, la cama y las almohadas muy cómodas, el diseño, amenities súper completas. Muy recomendable.

Únicamente un poco incómoda la calle si se llega en coche. Pero hay buena comunicación en autobús al centro y se puede llegar dando un bonito y largo paseo.

Misleading photo on booking.com

The photos of this property on the booking are misleading if you don't know San Sebastian, as they add a photo of a Vila. Instead, the hotel is in an ugly building and without any charms. The staff was rude when telling them about the misleading … laughing and saying - this is the old queen summerhouse, and if you should stay there, it would cost much more. Very arrogant. Why add this photo as the only photo between the images of the rooms and no other building. We showed more people in our group, and everyone thought as we did - totally a scam. We couldn't change the hotel because the booking.com had already taken our money. Also, to add another note, this hotel is very far from the city center old town—25-30 m in a minute's walk. The beds are small and not good quality, but surprisingly, we sleept ok in them.

Todo limpio, la zona está muy bien, tranquila comparado con el centro pero en un paseo de 10/15mins por la Concha te plantas en el casco antiguo. El personal super amable y te dan buenas recomendaciones.

Très bon accueil. Chambre assez spacieuse et bien équipée . Bien placé , le bus juste en bas de la rue pour aller dans le centre.

Disappointing

Spacious bedroom and modern look

No full time reception. No fridge or safe in room. Dirty curtains and hanging from rail. I had to climb on locker to fix. Outside appearance is filthy but room very clean. I would not class this as a Hotel as no facilities or bar or receptionist full time. TV too complicated a system to operate. Would think I should get a refund for the negatives of the room. Wouldn't recommend or stay again.

Superb

The check in {by machine like an airport giving you your ticket), because staff not always available (24/7) code was provided by APP well before arriving The machine (check in) is very easy to use and really quick - giving you your roomkey. Change the roomkey also for a code like the frontdoor and it's completely keyless (would be even better :-)) Very modern and nice hotel All looked good, worked and clean and modern If you have a question, calling or app and they respond really quickly

The beds keep a kind of memory, so when turning at night you have to find the same 'position' I missed a small safe for a laptop and belongings (although kind of locked storage in the hallway) A little far from town (good for the daily step count)

Practical and clean with a reasonably good location - albeit expensive.

Simple, clean and reasonably comfortable. The room was small but well designed and the whole building felt newly decorated. The staff we encountered (cleaning staff) were friendly and helpful. Good access to the local beach and a reasonable walking distance (c25 mins) to the centre of the city. If you don't mind that extra distance, the walk along the main beach front/promenade is a nice way to start and end each evening if you are heading out for dinner in the Old Town or Centro. While the area of town the hotel is in is unlikely to be the main attraction for tourists, there are a couple of local cafes and bars that were popular with locals and nice to have nearby as an optional extra.

The hotel was very basic for the price. High prices seem to be an issue across the whole of San Sebastián though and we may have visited in a particularly bad week for availability/pricing. If the price was c60% of what we paid, I would give the hotel full marks as a 'budget friendly' hotel. However, at the price charged it puts itself in competition with many other places across Europe (3*/4*) that offer a lot more for the money. At that price, the missing features - no staff on-site (other than cleaning), no breakfast, small/low quality toiletries in the bathroom, no lockable safe in the room (a problem for travel insurance) - start to stand out. For example, we had to evacuate one morning due to a fire alarm, but due to no staff being on-site it wasn't resolved quickly. The stay was perfectly fine, no major complaints, this is simply a comment about the mismatch between the price and the quality.
