Castle Kanaloa at Kona #601 - “Above par” bliss defines this 1,850sf high-style suite with ground floor lanai steps from your favorite hole! Perks play out with a modern kitchen, wet bar, AC, WiFi, washer/dryer, flat screens, ceiling fans, and master bath with double-sink vanity and soaking tub. Sleeps 6 in 1 King, 1 Queen and 1 Sofa bed.

Tucked within 17 acres of tropical landscape overlooking Keauhou Bay, gated Kanaloa at Kona pampers with three pools, hot tub, lighted tennis and barbecue areas. Enjoy easy access to Kona Country Club golf, ocean action and lively Alii Drive.

This was a wonderful place to stay. I wish they would have sticked the kitchen with a few basics that are necessary and that we did not want to purchase.. spices, baggies and a tray for the toaster oven. It was a fabulous stay otherwise. Thanks!

We would definitely stay at this complex again but in a different unit. It was nice overlooking the golf course and a short walk to the waterfront for sunsets, Great walking in the early morning before golfers are out. Very convenient to shopping and activities. Clean and well maintained grounds. The unit itself was adequate for our needs but definitely bare bones. If you are cooking your own meals as we do, I recommend bringing some basic spices, sharp knives, dishtowels/dish clothes (there are only one of each) and a coffee grinder. The cleanliness on arrival was not commensurate with the hefty cleaning fee (dirty dishes, cleaning rag on the floor and detritus on the kitchen counter). The unit needs some minor maintenance- screen door latch broken, etc. No designated parking area available as the owner has their vehicle parked there. We parked in guest/overflow parking. The security and front desk people were very friendly and helpful finding parking for us.

Decent apartment, with nice view of golf course. Unfortunately was asked by 2 neighbors to move my car because the owner of this place is currently “stuck” in a different country and can’t move his car out of the spot that I should have as the “renter.” Very inconvenient, since when I asked the manager on the listing to help with this situation, they deferred me to the front desk. Also, if you want AC, you will also have to pay $30 extra each day to run it. They will provide you with a key to turn the AC on, otherwise no AC.

The pools , location and views are great for this specific condo. Read the fine print though, we were sadly blind sided as the description states AC but, when we arrived, the property management charges a $25 a day to unlock the condos equipped AC thermostat with a key they hold. The condo had many discrepancies. The first one was that the assigned parking was occupied and was unavailable the entire time. Do not expect this unit to come with any supplies, It was bare, like a hotel not a proper home rental ie; no beach chairs or common Hawaii vacation home rental essentials . The other discrepancies included maintenance issues - The washer was not working properly, the cabinets were falling apart in the kitchen , the lanai porch lights were inoperable, the light fixture remotes were inoperable disabling the ability to control basic common area lights and ceiling fans , the hot water worked on occasion to various fixtures, the toilet in the master bathroom leaked from the base all over the floor expelling a fowl smell, towel rack falling off the wall in the hallway restroom and many other small maintenance issues that required some attention. We advised the front desk about the discrepancies during our stay .
