Definitely the highlight of our holiday! Chateau De La Malmaison has it all if you are seeking a perfect blend of nature walks and Champagne house visits. Bringing our dog Simba was a breeze as the accommodation and surrounding area were incredibly dog friendly. Xavier, Perrine, and their family are exceptional hosts, and we highly recommend staying at Chateau De La Malmaison. See you soon again.

A lovely short stay

Xavier and Perrine were lovely hosts and the property was stylishly renovated. It was great to sit outside, try the different champagnes and watch the goats walk around the moat. We did a couple of long walks (with our dog) - to Hautvilliers and Ay - which were very nice.

We had a great stay with our friendly hosts!

We had a fantastic stay at Chateau. The hosts were friendly and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed the pool and the serene atmosphere of the big shared garden. The accommodation was clean and provided all the necessary amenities for cooking. I highly recommend this hostel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thanks for having us!

Everything! The location is minutes from the champagne region and the owners are willing to sort anything out. Also a comfy bed slept really well which is unusual for me when away.

For lovers of champaigne or just to relax, a must.

Very nice and cozy apartment, with all commodities.

Not so easy to find the entrance, but discretion is a must in this location, in the middle of a nice forest.

Exceptional

Everything was perfect!! Beautiful place with lots of history, peaceful, very clean, the rooms were spacious, very tastefully decorated, comfortable beds. Lots of space for kids to play outside, the goats were a real hit. Nice swimming pool to cool off at the end of the day. The hosts were great, they were there when you needed them. Can't wait to go back!

brilliant location, lovely little mini gite, great pool, great and helpful hosts… not forgetting the goats! facilities in accommodation great, comfy bed, air con unit.

The Château is very well located with great opportunities to go hiking and see the beautiful area in the heart of Champagne. The rooms were well equipped and we had everything we needed. Finally the hosts were amazing and they made you feel very welcomed and they were very helpful.

Our stay was just fantastic! The place was comfortable and clean. The owner and his wife speak fantastic English which is a bonus for us as our French is embarrassingly bad. They also had great recommendations for things to see and do nearby. We also got to try their recommendations of Champagne and they even arranged a case of our favourite for us to take away with us. They also welcomed our little dog as much as they did us. The goats were a bonus for our baby!

Very nice family retreat with access to Ay and Champagne Region

A very pleasant chateau surrounded by woodlands. Accommodation was very good for our family and hosts were very nice. Easy car access to Ay and the Champagne region.

Magic journey, magic place, magic people

The Château is located in a fairy forest where it is easy to forget about normal life and its problems . Xavier and his family are wonderful people, they are always ready to help you. we really hope to come back soon as we can

Perfect stay in the Champagne in this beautiful Chateau.

We loved the quiet and idyllic location of this beautiful house, spacious living room, kitchen with all utilities you could need. WiFi connection is perfect! Host is friendly, provided a warm welcome and assistance.

The hosts complete your stay!

Wonderfull location, great bed and all the facilities you need. If you have kids I would recommend the bigger room. But it are the hosts that make your visit. Always standby if you have a question and they give great tips about what to do and where to go. Definately ask for explenation about the champagne and party trick to open a bottle ;). Hope to be back one day!

Very nice stay with good bed, well equipped kitchen and nice setting.

We liked the setting very much. Beautiful house with large garden and swimming pool in the forest. Each family had its own unit, so lots of privacy. The kitchen was well equipped should one like to cook a meal.

There was nothing to not like.

Amazing location for a weekend in c

Perfect location right in the heart of Champagne. Amazing host, really helpful with all the questions we had and helped us organise some visits to local producers. Bonus really good champagne ready to drink in the fridge
