Our family of five had a great week staying here while we helped friends on a nearby farm. We weren’t really tourists in the area, but there is a great welcome binder provided as well. The location is great for Hardwick and Greensboro, property was super clean and well kept, kitchen fully stocked, and the water and dryer very much appreciated after days on the farm. Also importantly, the beds were comfortable. :) Thanks for sharing!

The home was very comfortable and had everything we could want. The kitchen was well stocked with all pot, pans and dishes we could use. It has some basic pantry items. I used their open olive oil and left my new bottle. The deck and grill made for some great outdoor time. Great views. Bedrooms and bathrooms on both floors so if one has difficulty with stairs there are no problems. Highly recommend this rental.

This house is amazing! Spacious, well equipped/stocked, comfortable, and what a yard/location! Fields, cows, sheep, hiking, campfires, watching the sun rise and set. The stars at night are incredible! And Dan was so nice and welcoming!

Great weekend away!
We met some friends and stayed here over July 4th weekend. 4 adults, 2 young kids, and two dogs. It was a very nice house, and worked well for all of us. There is a propane grill on the deck that isn't listed in the vrbo listing. Our only troubles were pretty minor: We had a question about the dishwasher and Dan answered very quickly, the setting sun shines right through the sliding door to the deck and there's no blinds or curtain. And finally there are a ton of light switches, figuring out which controlled what light was kind of a pain.

family time
The purpose was to gather at a cemetery in S Woodbury for burial of my brother's remains
This location of the house was about halfway between S Woodbury and Greensboro which we also love.
The home was beautiful and well kept. The furniture was comfortable and had recliners.
The views were beautiful out every window.
The tile work throughout the house meant that I did not have to worry about doggy nails
The tilework was the prettiest I have ever seen
The bathrooms had beautiful walk in showers and one had a tub as well
I slept in a comfortable King bed.It felt like a tempurpedic and had very nice linens
We enjoyed taking walks down the trail with our dogs off leash. The property is expansive and private and nicely landscaped around the house. Many acres are mowed.
Having morning coffee on the deck was a treat.
One bedroom has a ceiling fan,the other two do not.I would bring a plug in fan if I came again.
We had a great stay especially since we do not travel without our dogs and have previously stayed in pet friendly motels. The hosts even provide blankets to place on the furniture for dogs to lie on.So sweet!

Big sky country!
We had a wonderful experience. The home was lovely - tastefully decorated, clean, very good amenities. The home is surrounded by open fields that allow one to see far into the distance and to admire the Green Mountains of VT. There is an extensive network of beautifully maintained walking trails on the property that we enjoyed thoroughly.

One of Our Best Rentals Ever
This may be the best-stocked property we've ever rented -- there's a beautifully-maintained outdoor grill, and the kitchen is equipped with pretty much anything you'd need. Even the bathrooms offered thoughtful things like toothbrushes! Linens are provided, and there is a complete laundry room if you need it. Canine visitors are provided for as well, with poopy-pick-up bags and fleece throws for placing over furniture. The property is within striking distance of Burlington, Montpelier, St. Johnsbury's, and Newport (all of which worth visiting), if you're looking to day-trip to a town. Plus, the sunsets are amazing!

Paradise in Hardwick
We loved our stay at Dan's place. The house is beautiful, well appointed and very clean. The house is removed enough from the street to not feel impacted by the occasional traffic w the deck facing away from the street towards a beautiful view. We were visiting with family in Greensboro and found Dan's house to be incredibly convenient to both Greensboro and Hardwick. (a 20 minute bike ride to Greensboro town beach). There is also lovely hiking out the back door with a hidden blueberry patch at the bottom of the hill. Most of all, we loved the history of the farm and the warm reception we recieved from Dan and his family. Our favorite VRBO rental to date. We highly recommend Dan's place and hope to stay again.

This was a fantastic house for our family of 5 for a winter snowboarding vacation. The house is immaculate and set on a beautiful farm with pastoral views and wonderful hiking trails. You have a tremendous sense of privacy, but still close enough to town to run in for late night groceries. The radiant floor heating kept the entire house very warm despite the sub-freezing outside temperatures. The kitchen contained up to date appliances. House was very clean and fully stocked with linens and towels. The owner of the property, Dan, greeted us in person. Very kind gentleman who was available to answer any questions about the property or the house. But the house was set up very will with no issues. The owner also provided sleds for my boys to enjoy the snow and hills on the property. Just note that the wifi can get a bit slow if you have three kids all competing for bandwidth for videos and online game playing. We truly enjoyed our stay and will come back again in the Summer to hike the many trails on the property as well as again next winter!

Grandson’s Family weekend
Gorgeous home in idyllic setting, beautifully decorated and set up to accommodate our family comfortably. We enjoyed our stay and were able to explore trails on the property where my younger grand children were able to see cows close up for first time. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a high quality rental for your family.
