Great location, lovely garden and private deck

Great location, close to the beach, laundry express and supermarket next door, surfboard rental for guests. Lovely private deck and very nice communal space for lounging, cooking, dining. Very nice garden, small pool.

Only one small towel every 3 days, no toilet paper for the last 2 days. Shower control way up high, must be at least 6 ft tall to reach. No holder for shower, hose too short, curtain too short, so bathroom flooded every time.

Fresh pool, room & well equipped kitchen. The staff are very accommodating and helpful & we could not have wished for a better location of the accommodation. Really recommend the place as we were able to rent surfboards cheaply, got help with booking excursions and the owners were really solution-oriented. When our friend arrived, she only had accommodation for a few nights, but Valentina quickly arranged a new, larger room for all three of us.

Construction was on going next to the hotel. Therefore it was not as peaceful as expected. However, this is not the hotel’s fault.

we loved Santeria Lodge!

amazing location so close to the beach and supermarket, restaurants etc. great facilities, good size private room with a little deck and hammock which was great for a midday siesta! was also so nice to have the pool when you wanted to escape from the beach. Valentina and Andrea were so lovely and helpful, helping to arrange our transport from San Jose. would 100% recommend!

Beautiful, Bright & Friendly

The property is bright, friendly and all the rooms maintain a great sense of privacy. The owners can not do enough for you and are super helpful! We had a wonderful stay and are so glad we chose Santeria Lodge.

There is some building work going on outside of the property which can be loud and not very relaxing if you are planning to lay by the pool all day. But with the beach so close, who would?!

The Highlight of our Holiday!!

Beautiful bungalows surrounded by a lush garden. We were amazed by the HIGH LEVEL OF CLEANLINESS throughout the the whole place. The hosts Valentina and Andrea were very nice and helpful.

Santeria Lodge was a positive and comfortable space in the perfect location at a great value.

The location and cleanliness of the property was amazing. It had everything we needed at a good value. The property is small and intimate which was great for our needs.

There wasn’t anything that struck us as inadequate. The common kitchen was a bit sparsely appointed, but it meets one’s basic cooking and food storage needs. The owners of the property lives on-site which was positive for us to feel that they are accessible. Potential guests should be aware that this property is more suitable to relaxing and staging for activities than being a party specific destination.

Superb

A really nice place and great location, you can reach everything by foot and it's about a 2min walk to the beach. The kitchen has all you need and the hosts were really helpful.

Pleasant

The big rooms have hammocks and are nice. The pool is cool, kitchen isn't super clean, and owners are making a fuss for using it after 9 pm. One great thing is proximity of beach - you can walk with a board.

The small rooms offer nothing but a bed, there is even no windows other than entrance. Dark, depressive, small. Also, next to Santeria Lodge there is a busy road, very loud in the evenings.

The cabins and outdoor areas are nice. You have private space but also a nice common area where you can meet other people. We used the kitchen everyday and it was always clean. The beach is across the street and only a few minutes walk. You can rent surfboards in the shop next door for a fair price.

Very cute, clean, and comfortable room...nice patio in front to relax, tranquil pool area, and amazing location with a lot of restaurants, shops, yoga, and surfing nearby. Valentina was also super helpful in making sure we had the best stay. Highly recommended!

Great staff, nice rooms with great patios. Right off the south side of the Strip and walking distance to a ton of stuff.

Good spot if you want to do a surftrip to Santa Teresa

- very good located (200 meters from the beach El Carmen and close to many nice restaurants) - nice terrace - possiblility to rent a surfboard in the santeria lodge shop - accomondation looked liked in the pictures

- the bathroom: the shower was broken and it s not possible to regulate the temperature of the water + a soap in the bathroom would be great mainly in times of Covid - the bed was too hard (we used to sleep on hard mattresses but this one leads to back pain)

Very cozy and nice common area, good airconditioning in the room, Valentina was very helpful. Located next to a grocery store. Easy access, close to the beach.

Would be nice to have better access to clean towels and toilet paper.

Great stay in Santa Teresa

The location is really nice, located in the center of Santa Teresa, with a lot of restaurants nearby. We also really enjoyed the hammock in front of our lodge. The hosts were really helpful and friendly as well and the communal kitchen was clean and organized.

Nothing really, the pool is a bit small but it's nice to cool down after a hot day.

Relaxing place

Amazing place to stay at, would definitely book again! Very comfortable hammock on each porch. Felt safe and welcome their. Great community!

Kinda noisy since it is right next to the busy street, but that's normal in Santa Teresa. No safe in the room. Apart from that, really great place!

Exceptional

Santeria Lodge is great. It is a 3 minute walk to playa Carmen, a fun beach break that is less crowed than further up north. After the surf, there is plenty of shade in the communal area with chairs and hammocks as well as a pool. No ATV is needed since supermarkets, ATMs, pharmacy as well as plenty of restaurants are at walking distance. This is the second time I stayed at Santeria (the first time 4 years ago) and I was surprised to find that the place even got better (new garden, renovated rooms etc.) while their prices remained almost the same. While other places adapt purely for the purpose of marketing, this place adapts to the actual needs of people who want to surf, chill and have a clean, cozy and nice room with AC for a very affordable rate. The owners (an Italian family) are super friendly, flexible and helpful and the surft shop adjacent to the lodge has a great selection of surf clothing, equipment and rental boards as well as option for surf lessons with highly competent local guides. I have stayed at many places in Santa Teresa and have to say that this is by far my favourite.

That it was somtimes full when i wanted to return :)
