Just the location, the authentic facilities, the passionate staff and even the weather.
We did not like going home.

Everything is kept and prepared in perfect condition prior to our arrival. We vacation here almost every winter. Always love returning and our stay here.

Locale of water and woods
Black fly season but with the innkeeper’s recommendations, we purchased mosquito head nets which prevented flies from landing on our faces, wore long-sleeved shirts and pants and did not sustain any bites.

Beautiful spot! Unique Adirondack’s architecture…very comfortable for a totally relaxing get-a-way!
Unfortunately it’s just too fair off the “grid” for most people.

We loved the property, it was absolutely stunning. We were right next to the lakeside and walked there every morning. We had breakfast in the quiet little teahouse and the kids loved playing in the bowling alley! We cant wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the canoeing! It was the escape we needed from all the hustle of day to day.
The only downside was the road getting to the property is a bit rough. Granted, we expected dirt roads and some rough terrain, absolutely! But its pretty well-loved and was a bit much on my city tires.

It was a wonderful stay and would live to come back in the fall!

we loved the location and cleanliness of the property.
There was a wood stove and plenty of wood for the time we were staying but there we no lighters or matches anywhere in the cabin.

The resort is so unique, spacious and cozy. Even though it was fully booked and a holiday weekend I felt like we were the only ones there (in a good way). The interior of the space was updated and had everything we needed. Even without interacting with staff, the communication and directions for check in were excellent. It is very remote, but we enjoyed that. I can't wait to bring my family back.

Essentially brand-new cabin. Easy access. Personalized service. It was fun exploring the property and walking around in the snow. We played pool and ping-pong too.
The building we stayed in seemed brand-new, but some of the building of the camp are very old (but clean) - and exploring them was part of the fun.

Very cosy, great property with a lake. Charming wooden flat, well furnished and snowshoes unfortunately we didn't have opportunity to use.
It is not really a cabin, but we felt like

It was peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Exactly what I was looking for in this trip. I like that there was different paddle boats and canoes to take out. There were lots of sitting places with beautiful views. The trails were easy to follow. Great for a couple or a family. Different board games provided, a ping pong table, pool table, self set up bowling ally, and outdoor games in the tennis court house.

We had a great time playing in the snow. Easy walking trails to the teahouse, great-room and bowling alley. If you want to slow down and enjoy nature this is your place.
I knew there was spotty cell service but reality was enlightening. Still loved the experience.

love the Adirondack mountains. we stay in the area frequently.
the building is new and very eye appealing. however details to our room were poorly thought out. we were able to hear the people in the adjoining room VERY loudly through a door that is connected to both rooms. there was no closet or dresser for our clothing so we had to live out of our luggage. the windows are very low to the ground with sheer curtains and the walkway to the other units are right next to the windows. so there really wasn’t any privacy. including a window right next to the toilet in the bathroom. very awkward, we could see other guests walking while using the bathroom. the heating unit was very loud. and the two chairs at the kitchen table were literally falling apart. we were told they had just purchased them at a garage sale. if you don’t have Verizon for your phone carrier you won’t have internet. And there is no tv in the room.

Location was fabulous, the, provenance unique, everything was fascinating and positive. We loved the loons, the beaver and the eagle catching a fish.
No fault of yours, but it was cold and rainy so never got,out in the boats. 😞also missed meeting staff. Understand it was due to Covid restrictions but it was a bit weird never seeing anyone.
