Nice accommodations and beautiful surroundings!

I’ve been using VRBO/Home Alone for close to 20 years, so lots of properties. Let’s say Ok but needs some attention. The front storm door just won’t stay shut unless locked, cable tv is in description of cabin but Hulu (not live) is what’s on, Normally don’t care except after dark or if it’s raining and it was and it’s still hockey season (when I contacted owner to ask I got no response). It’s way past time to change that shower curtain liner!! Also thought bath toiletries were supposed to have been included?? Thankfully there was a dryer available bc our bathmats were extremely wet when we arrived.
The grass really needs mowed! Paddle boat at waters edge was nearly submerged and full of green water, it was unusable. It just seemed liked no one was really ready for us to visit! Check in and out was easy.

I had a very relaxing week

Property was awesome with the lake view and dock. So serene and relaxing! Left 2 jackets there and the property owner mailed them back in 4 days! Very impressed.

The property is located on a quiet, beautiful lake. We loved sitting on the dock to look at the stars and to watch the sun rise. The home is well stocked and has some thoughtful touches that made it extra special (a hammock, a portable speaker, life jackets, etc.).

The cabin was great and well supplied. Weather could have been better, but hey! Fishing is unextected in the fall...you never know what you're going to have.

We were looking for a very relaxing vacation and we found it here. Everything was perfect. Clean, cozy n comfortable. We'll come back!!

Annoying barking neighbor dog otherwise rating would be a 5.

Great cabin. Had everything we needed. Comfy bed & everything was well stocked. Lakefront room was so perfect to watch the waterfowl on the lake and we watched the ice go out of the lake. First time to this part of Wisconsin. Absolutely gorgeous!! I highly recommend this cabin for the views, location, and comfort.

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying at this property. We got a bit of rain, so the screened in porch was perfect! I was also able to bring my pup, and she absolutely loved wading out into the water and chasing chipmunks.
Thank you!

If you are looking for a quiet place to hang out, this is the place. Convenient dock and water access. Nice bar & restaurant at a resort 1 mile away. Very friendly people.

We spent four days tucked in this charming "vintage" cabin, situated on a beautiful lake mid-March. During our stay we snowshoed to the Big Island, roughly a mile from the away. Thanks to fresh snow, we snowshoed and x-country skied some of the numerous trails around Hayward.
The cabin is small, but it was perfect for our needs and was well stocked with supplies. Everything was clean and well organized. We received at least 12" of snow during our stay, and the owner was prompt about plowing out the long driveway.
A great winter getaway that provided a place to rest.

Pictures made it seem like there were no neighbors but they are actually pretty close. No one was up here at the time so wasn't to big of a worry.

The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have WiFi available. Everything was as advertised, perfect for 3 people unless you have one sleeping on the couch, then you could go 4. The only complaint I have is that the ice buildup in front of the cabin caused more than one near wipeout and you couldn't open the screen door all the way due to the ice dam behind it. A minor inconvenience but something to be aware of, especially if you have someone with limited mobility staying. For trail access, you're about .5 miles from the trail on the lake. Made for a very easy connection to get on and off the snowmobile trail.

This was our second year staying at the cabin. We fell in LOVE with it last year,( after going through 2020 without a vacation). Last year it was our hideaway, getaway. AND... we were able to bring our doggies. It was the last trip we had with our Airabella dog. She was diagnosed with Lymphoma the week after we cam back and passed over the Rainbow bridged 6th 2021. Many good pictures, videos, and walks.
This year we have a new rescue doggie ( along who went last year). We had a restful, uneventful, relaxing time. We are looking forward to next year! I tell ALL my friends and Daycare families about this place❤❤

We didn’t have great weather but we’re still able to fish, have a fire, grill, take the dog for a walk or two and head to town for cheese curds. We watched movies, read books and loved the comfort and coziness of the cabin. Lake Nelson is beautiful and the fish were biting! This cabin was just what my family needed to wrap
Up our summer.

First time with a VRBO. Seamless check in. Had a small bacon frying incident that set of smoke detector. Propery manager texted to find out if things were okay. Yup. Not used to electric stovetops.
Only question is to potability of water. A sign in the property says plates and utensils are not sanitized and gives a recommendation as to how to do this. Unsure if this is a COVID related proceedure, drinking and rinse water, or just a department of health requirement. Either way no issues. Very cool coffee mugs.
Very enjoyable albeit too short of a stay.

Everything was nice, neat, and in excellent working condition. Plenty of space for the six of us. Overall, there were no complaints from the kids, but I wish that the grass would of been cut so there could of been a little less mosquitoes.

Great experience the entire stay. Cabin has pretty much everything we could think of and need during our vacation. Fully stocked kitchen, furnace, fireplace, grill, washer and dryer were all very useful. Property manager was very helpful getting us more propane quickly when the grill run out of propane. Highly satisfied with our stay! We made sure to sign the guest book too! 😊

Cute cabin
Cabin has a nice cozy rustic feel. Beautiful view of lake Nelson. Plenty of amenities to cook with, and games, etc to entertain ourselves. Wood fireplace in living room would have been nicer if there was more than 4 sticks of wood. There was also a large ant problem for our stay. Luckily there was ant killer in the cabin, worked a little but not what we were hoping to deal with on our anniversary get away. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

We had a great time getting away at this property! It had great waterfront access to watch the beautiful sunrises over the lake. The host has towels, linens, and kitchen utensils all readily available. The property was very clean and well kept. The check-in/out process was clear and their guest guide was very helpful. We very much enjoyed our relaxing anniversary weekend away!

The weather cooperated and we got to enjoy a weekend here in early October. The fall colors were EXTRAORDINARY!! Also, my wife and I stood on the dock that first evening after we unpacked, and within the first 30 minutes on the bench there, we had a bald eagle fly overhead and heard some loons call out across the lake! Its such a beautiful lake, and setting, that we definitely want to come back!

Not too big, not too small, JUST RIGHT
This is a Wonderful cabin! It had just what we needed for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing few days. Even though it was overcast and rained we could sit out in the Sunroom with the dogs. It has games for all ages. The WiFi was great as well as the movie selection on the TV. Can't wait to go back next year! Thanks for the MUCH needed R &R!
