BEDROOMS / BATHROOMS

This four bedroom home has enough beds to sleep up to 8 people. The two bedrooms downstairs feature a king and queen mattress. Each has its own dresser and closet and is next to the downstairs bathroom.

I really dislike staying at rentals with cheap, rock hard mattresses. So I made sure to furnish this home with quality mattresses to provide a good nights sleep!

The two bedrooms upstairs are separated by a hallway and each feature their own “mini split” air conditioner/heating system. The upstairs bathroom (with bath tub) is located in the hallway between the bedrooms.

KITCHEN & DINING

The kitchen is nestled in between the dining room and living room with fireplace. Stocked with basic essentials such as pots, pans, toaster oven and Keurig. Appliances include fridge, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, and garbage disposal.

LIVING ROOM

Casa Johnson features two distinct living rooms. The front living room features a smart TV (pre loaded with Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Hulu and Disney+) and a small “home office” area with a motorized desk should you want to stand, or sit in the cushy office chair.

The back living room is next to the kitchen and overlooks the pool area. It features a comfy couch and fireplace.

OUTDOOR SPACE
Our outdoor space provides a fun family atmosphere. The backyard features an 800 sq. ft swimming pool with a pergola, outdoor dining table and lounge chairs on one side. On the other side of the pool sits a dreammaker brand hot tub. All surrounded by an 8 foot tall privacy fence.

The backyard has plenty of adjustable lighting - no matter how bright (or dark) you’d like to keep the backyard during your stay.

Want to grill? We have you covered. Our backyard features a propane BBQ grill with a spare tank in the garage.

Guests have access to the entire home.

I live in the city so I'm available for any questions, additional info etc..

Quiet, residential neighborhood 10 minutes north of UF.

Use the pool at own risk. No lifeguard on duty.

We had a fantastic stay at this clean and well-furnished home. The location was perfect, just 10 minutes away from the university pool, which was ideal for our swim camp. The house boasts a huge pool, a hot tub, and a gazebo, all of which were great for entertaining our family and friends. The grill and fully equipped kitchen made it easy for us to prepare different meals, adding to the convenience and enjoyment of our stay. The host was very accommodating and made the check-out process seamless. Overall, it was a great experience. We will definitely recommend this property to others and look forward to renting it again for future trips.

My family all met in Gainesville for an extended long weekend in March and this house was perfect for home base. All the beds were extremely comfortable, the place was clean and easy to find. We enjoyed going to local parks, UF, restaurants (satchels pizza) all nearby. The pool was huge and great for the kids (a bit too cold for us adults)! Would definitely return again!

This rental was perfect for our family Christmas in Gainesville. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Kitchen well stocked with utensils & the office set-up was an added bonus. We would definitely stay at this home again in the future.

Our stay was great! Had everything we needed, and the pool is huge. The neighborhood is quiet and close to UF and plenty of food options. The owner replied very quickly on all correspondence. Highly recommend.

The property is perfect for a family or friends trip. The pool and backyard is beautiful and quiet. The home is roomy and inviting. The host is so gracious to have things on hand such as soap, trash bags, salt and pepper, coffee!! We have been in places with nothing!! Rooms were comfy - no complaints - John responded quickly when we wanted to use the Roku.. Thank you!!

Property location, cleanliness, and amenities were perfect for the family over the weekend. We were in town for Gator Baseball weekend. House is 15 minutes from campus in quiet neighborhood. Pool area was great for just hanging out during the day. Check in/checkout were easy and communication with property owner was excellent. Highly recommend

We had family in town for our son’s music recital and it was able to accommodate them for a cookout and it was also a great retreat for a quiet evening and morning to relax and unwind. It came equipped with most everything you need. It rained heavily one day and we could have used some additional seating inside for everyone that had to retreat inside. But overall this home served us well. Cute, safe, quiet.

Amazing Outdoor Space!

We loved our stay at this property. Each morning we went for a walk and explored the area and nearby neighborhoods. Very safe place to walk. We spent a lot of time at UF watching the SEC softball tournament and were a quick 10 minute drive away. The rest of the time we stayed at the house and enjoyed the lovely outdoor space! There was no need to go elsewhere! We often got takeout so we could eat outside under the pergola. Grocery stores and other places just a quick drive away. John was also extremely responsive and helpful! We realized the house was missing a hairdryer and he dropped one off within the hour. The dishwasher was also not draining but the problem was fixed immediately. Would highly recommend staying here. Pool was refreshing and clean!

John is a great owner

We actually never checked in at the property. We were travelling to Gainesville for an event that got cancelled due to the coronavirus. John was very gracious and promptly cancelled the reservation for us. We were refunded the full deposit and rent for the duration of the visit with no cancellation penalty. This was so appreciated by our party. Next time in Gainesville, I'll look to this property as my first choice. Thanks John!

Perfect and close to UF

We could not have enjoyed our stay more. Perfectly located close to UF to watch the Gator game. Our large group loved hanging out by the pool and cooking out. The house was just updated with remodeled bathrooms and kitchen. We have allergies so we loved that there is no carpet. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Gainesville.
