lindos bella ma troppo caotica

la struttura è in posizione tranquilla, ma a 15 minuti a piedi dal centro di Lindos. La camera era grande, con angolo cottura, tavolo interno con sedie e terrazzo con tavolo e sedie. la colazione è buona, ma per gli amanti della colazione dolce non c'è molta scelta, solo l'opzione pancake alla nutella. invece per gli ama la colazione salata, c'è l'imbarazzo della scelta (è un mini pranzo). bella la piscina, ma non abbiamo avuto il tempo di usarla. c'è anche il parcheggio interno.

La colazione inizia alle 8, e sono abbastanza lenti... poi manca la scelta per una colazione dolce (non c'è un croissant, un pezzo di torta, ecc), la mancata pulizia della camera. In 3 giorni di soggiorno, non è mai stata pulita, nè sono stati rifatti i letti nè cambiati gli asciugamani. Non so se dipendesse dal fatto che avevamo una camera economy, ma non mi era mai successo.

Great hotel in Lindos

The owners are very nice and always there to help with anything you need. The rooms are really big and are every day cleaned up. The pool is really nice and there is a small restaurant where you can eat or have a drink. I had only the breakfast there, and it was really good and at a fair price. The hotel is located only a 10 minutes walk to the city center or to the Lindos beach. There is a free parking for the customers in front of the hotel.

I think the air cons should be replaced with more powerful ones. The heat is great and they are not good enough.

perfect location for Lindos, peaceful location and excellent hosts.

Great location in relaxing setting. Rafael and Vicky were brilliant hosts. Room was service couldn’t be faulted. Would definitely recommend and will stay here when we return to Lindos.

A welcoming , calm and very peaceful place.

The welcome from Vicky was amazing. Felt so at home. From start to finish our three night stay was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast choice was AMAZING! Can’t say enough about this find.

It was a 20 minute walk to Linda’s centre. We loved that but if you were not so able it might be a problem. We loved being away fro the crowds. It was calm and peaceful.

The staff are very friendly and approachable. The pool, bar and surrounding area are kept clean. It's about a 30 minute walk down hill to Lindos town, I suggest getting a taxi back.

Tucked away in hills with great views, lovely and quiet. 10 min walk down hill to Lindos. Breakfast was lovely. Picked from menu and served to table. Was partners birthday they made it extra special with cake & bubbly to. Love this place

Fantastic stay in an affordable luxury room , the team make you feel welcome and at home.

Vicky made us feel at home and took the stress out of the holiday she organised transfers and a car rental which was all a stress free experience and at a fair cost. She even made my partners birthday special by decorating our room, organising a cake and a bottle of fizz. All the staff are welcoming and attentive to your personal needs. The deluxe room is fantastic and has everything you need with additional treats like wine , coffee machine and fruit. The balcony had a view of the lindos ruins which was lovely for evening drinks. Breakfast is filling and has a variety of Greek and English options, I’m going to miss the freshly squeezed orange juice. Location is perfect it’s close to a store, 10 min walk to Lindos which is far enough away to keep it peaceful. Lindos itself is a good place to stay if you want a mix of beach and culture like we do. We’re not usually people to return somewhere (as we like to experience new places) but I’m 100% sure we’ll return one year and we’ll certainly recommend to our family and friends. A lovely easy get away for autumn sun.

Great outside, let down by the inside

Great location and solar exposure. Nice bar and pool area. Great staff

The beds were poor. Very lumpy and uncomfortable. Need to change them. Room is very 70/80s feel in terms of facilities. Shower was poor, not on the wall, small cubicle with a curtain right opposite the flow. Needs to be a door or a wet area. Let down the other wise great place. Also uncertain about the smoke alarms

Very good

Hotel Rafael had everything I needed for a lovely weeks stay in Lindos. The check in & out was easy. The pool was gorgeous. The location was super quiet & only a 15 minute walk to the center of Lindos with amazing beaches, shops, bars & restaurants. I was able to extend my check out till 6pm for €30. The on site restaurant was nice too. I traveled on my own and felt really safe in the hotel.

For the price everything was actually really perfect. The only tiny criticism is that the bed wasn't the comfiest but for the price it was just what I needed.

A peaceful escape close to the hub

It was so peaceful, the pool was the cleanest I've ever experienced. Rafael, Vicky and Antonio were so kind, relaxed and helpful. The room and the whole hotel was spotless and I only ever met one lovely lady who cleaned. I didn't have breakfast there as I catered for my own but i had a yummy lunch one of the days. The location is great, if you're not so able bodied it might be a consideration as the walk to Lindos town is 15 minutes, but it's an easy exchange for the peace and there are cheap taxis that can transport tired legs.

Great little hotel

You never needed to leave! Vicky and the team were excellent hosts, and we were never without food or drink when we wanted it. Amazing breakfasts, lunch and evening meals too. Lovely pool, and there were always loungers available to use.

Great staff and good value for money

Very nicely decorated room, large shower, balcony with a great view of the Acropolis, especially in the evening. Big and very clean pool. The room was very clean. The breakfast was very good and the food they serve extra at the restaurant was also good. Above all, the staff was very friendly, ready to accomodate any of our special requests, very kind and warm.

Wi-fi did not work in the room, frequently disconnecting though it seems to be a common problem in Lindos, not the hotel's fault. It did work in the bar area but it was very hot during the day.

Had a wonderful relaxed holiday in Lindos at Rafael Hotel. Rafael and Vicky are the loveliest hosts and made us very welcome and relaxed! The pool is perfect (whether for a proper swim or simply cooling off during the day) views from our balcony were great and the hotel feels very private and safe, although is only a 10-15 minute walk from Lindos town, a 5 minute walk from a supermarket, and all of the local sites are within walking distance. The hotel is kept wonderfully clean, with a cleaner popping in daily, and the bar and restaurant were excellent, with meals, snacks and drinks throughout the day. Thank you Rafael, Vicky and team for all of your hard work, we had a lovely stay and hope to be back!

Updated room was lovely - 20 min walk to numerous restaurants - very good size pool - plenty of sun beds - lovely breakfast
