location and set up of motel was perfect
there was nothing i did not like
1.5
It was available just prior to Easter (now I know why). Was only one night.
One of the rooms reeked of cigarette smoke and family members had to change rooms.
People in room a few doors up (appeared to live there) were continually loudly arguing saying all sorts of very sad negative things not suitable for children to hear. Dog in that apartment barked constantly.
Young people were hanging around in carpark area, made us concerned about belongings in our cars.
At check out person at counter served my son in law while brushing his teeth, mouth full of foam. Come on, that’s no way to attend a customer.

Very clean and neat.
5.0
Clean, good view, great value. I like the sunshine from level 2
4.5
Nice clean modern rooms. Don’t be fooled by the exterior.
4.0
Great bathroom! Beautiful sheets and close to town.
3.5
Not pertinent.
4.0
Dog friendly
Grounds (gardens etc.) and external motel signage needs to be improved so the facility doesn’t look like it’s old and failing.
4.0
Large room. Very tidy. Very clean. Up-to-date. Very enjoyable
Finding the place via street address - was for car yard. Needed to use the business name or Cyril Crt - where the entrance was - not the maroondah highway at all. Bedside lamps didn’t work

Location
No utensils. Door needed to be slammed to close. But upon waking, it had opened. Needs to be fixed. Exterior is shabby.
3.5
The room was in a good condition. It had a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The shower was terrific.
My concern was the people from the neighbouring rooms and checking my car to make sure it was alright. I also heard some screaming and swearing. I just made sure I locked my door at night.
2.5
Location and walk in shower. Room was clean at arrival.
They don't do daily room service , make beds, clean bathroom, or remove rubbish from room while staying there. I didn't realize this when I booked or have this explained when arrived. it also wasn't on Booking .Com site when I was searching for hotels in the area. Bed was not that comfortable.

New bathroom and appliances, also very spacious and clean. Staff were very accommodating as we were travelling for a wedding. Would highly recommend and stay here again if we're in the area.
The windows didn't have flyscreen so bugs might get into the room if you leave the window open.

Great place for a stop over.

Quiet even though we were told that there could be pets next door
Very hilly. Limited shopping nearby
4.5
Really comfortable bed. Nice shower and toilet paper. Plush towels. Pet friendly.
Our door didn’t lock properly once so we had to make sure we really pushed it in (but we also used the security chain so that was ok).
3.5
Well located
Grounds were a bit shabby

Rooms were spacious and clean. They also put a temporary wooden ramp at the entrance (without being asked) which made it possible for my dad to use his walker to get into the room. Would definitely stay there again.

It was close to the event we were attending. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom had been updated. It had all the basics required for a short stay!
Initially upon opening our room, it did have a cigarette odour. It was possibly from outside..?
We were there a couple of nights… so the addition of a couple of bowls and a set of cutlery to the set, would have been handy! 😊

We were attending a function at Yering, so it was relatively nearby. Spacious room, renovated bathroom, comfortable bed.
There was a repetitive noise through the night, potentially water pipes. Location just off main road and very near mobile phone tower which made it feel a bit industrial.
2.0
Cleanliness. comfortable bed,,Plenty of room to park
Signade, the sign was obscured, and well above eye level. there was a microwave and toaster but no cutlery or crockery. It was a cold night but we were only able to find one cover, so had to keep the heater on
3.5
Reception service, location.
Poorly kept garden areas , particularly on main highway side, deteriorating motel signage on highway side. Makes the facility look uninviting.

Comfortable, good value.

The location is quite out of the way for central melbourne however, as someone meeting friends that live in lilydale, it was perfect. very solid, public transport wasnt far from it either. when i go to see my friends again, ill look at this location.
i dont think there was any particular issue with the econo lodge, it was comfortable, affordable and a livable location. very solid as all heck. keep up the great work you guys with your location. woo.

It was a handy location and good price for a quick work trip, convenient, wasn't planning on spending a lot of time in the room but what I did spend was relatively comfortable
The mattress on the bed was a little bit uncomfortable and it would be nice to put a lounge chair or a small couch in the room where there is space

Didn’t have breakfast but was pleased to find cutlery for our takeaway meal.
Can’t think of anything.
4.5
We didn’t order breakfast however we made up our own continental breakfast. However there was no knives and forks to use however we’re able to get some from your obliging staff member. We didn’t expect a continental breakfast when the overnight rate was very reasonable. The Econo Motel location was easy to find. The bed was excellent. Good nights sleep.
Nothing that stands out.
