A nice little bolt hole in the heart of Zurich.

One of the cheaper options in this part of town, so I wasn't expecting much. And was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, a clean and tidy room with a free Nespresso pod and earbuds. And a fan. It's a bit like old style student accommodation with a common room and coffee making facilities.

Not sure about the name 'pop up' - makes me wonder how long it'll be there. It's right on the main drag so if you have a front facing room..but you do get to see Zurich life unfolding. The plastic mattress has a habit of sliding..but all in all a pleasant stay.

Muy céntrico, personal muy amable, pero incómodo y excesivamente caro para lo que ofrecen.

Es céntrico y el personal es muy amable. La cama es cómoda y no hay demasiado ruido.

El tamaño de la habitación era mucho más pequeño de lo esperado (en comparación con la imagen) y el baño queda fuera de la habitación. La ducha tampoco es la de las fotos, sino mucho más vieja, sin lavabo ni apenas espacio para moverse y mal mantenida (las dos veces que la utilicé me encontré el plato de ducha sucio y todo el suelo mojado). En definitiva: muy céntrico, personal encantador, pero bastante incómodo y excesivamente caro para lo que ofrecen (150 CHF la noche es un insulto; no pagaría ni siquiera 100 CHF, aun teniendo en cuenta los precios de Zúrich, que conozco bien porque visito a menudo). Me alojé en esa misma estancia en otro hotel más barato (130 CHF), a dos paradas de metro de la estación, y muchísimo mejor en todos los sentidos.

Great location but not a comfortable stay.

We loved the location and the staff was very helpful, but be careful while booking majority of the rooms are with shared bathroom(which we realised when we arrive to the hotel). Walls are extremely thin and because of the location there are a lot of noises at night, keep that in mind.

Very pleasant stay and great staff.

perfect situation close to the Station and near to the address of my audition. The staff were very accommodating and allowed me early access to my room to deposit my double bass. I rehearsed in the lobby.

A Remarkable Location!

Pros: -Exceptional service at reception -Cozy atmosphere -Amenities like hand lotion and a hairdryer -Elevator -You can keep your luggage at reception (limited hours) Upon arrival, the warm welcome from the reception staff set a positive tone for my entire stay. They were not only professional but also genuinely friendly. I booked the standard room (No. 41), which, though small, was clean and tastefully decorated. Despite being advertised as a city view, be prepared for a close-up view of the adjacent building and trash containers, generating extra noise at night and in the early morning. The room included slippers, a large towel, and one coffee capsule. While the bed size was good enough, the mattress was too soft for my preference. The pillow met expectations, and the standout feature was the cozy blanket. Staying in December, the room was consistently warm, requiring me to keep the windows open for fresh air, exposing me to additional outside noise. Free earplugs are available in the common room near reception, a must for a good night's sleep. I'd like to mention that the ceilings are quite low, potentially uncomfortable for individuals taller than 170cm. Facility-wise, there are only two toilets (one for men and one for women) on each floor, along with one small shower. With full occupancy, it might be insufficient, but during my stay, it was manageable. The facilities were clean, and amenities like soap and shampoo were provided in the shower room. The hotel also offers a hairdryer. Hand lotion was available near each sink, a thoughtful touch. There are two communal spaces. The first one resembles a kitchen equipped with complimentary tea, coffee (with free sugar, milk powder, coffee powder, and tea bags). Guests are welcome to use the fridge and microwave. The second room offers a delightful view of the river, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The standout feature is undoubtedly the location, which is more than perfect.

L’emplacement est vraiment parfait, nous avons tout fait à pied depuis l’hôtel pour visiter Zürich. La décoration est très jolie et les lits sont confortables. Même si les sanitaires sont communs, il y a une « mini salle de bain » dans la chambre (lavabo, poubelle, savon mains, lotion pour le corps) ce qui est très pratique et l’hôtel offre aussi des pantoufles pour se déplacer au sein de l’hôtel. Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique.

Il y avait dans l’espace commun cuisine/salon une odeur un peu particulière, mais pas vraiment dérangeante et le lavabo dans la salle de bain n’était pas bien fixé.

For the price and given that this is Zürich, this is unmatched value.

The rooms were very spacious and really good value for money in the context of Zürich. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and responded to my messages in the Booking.com app. The location is excellent! You can reach a lot of the great attractions by foot, and there is great food in the area at different price points. It's also right in front of a tram stop so you can easily go anywhere.

Could use more power sockets but thankfully I brought my own. It was very cold in the room so I struggled as someone from Southeast Asia. You can sometimes hear noise from the other room if people were shouting.

Strategic location, walking distance to Zurich HB and around zurich city. Direct tram to the airport. Got elevator. Shared toilet and shower area are clean with soap and shampoo provided. Room size is decent enough. Friendly staff. Common area is complete with microwave, utensils, coffee machine. Highly recommended!

Irre gute Lage - ich würde 11 von 10 Punkten geben, denn Innenstadt und Hauptbahnhof sind nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Die Aufenthaltsbereiche sind großzügig und nett eingerichtet. Für Schweizer Verhältnisse war der Preis sehr günstig.

Man sollte sich bewusst sein - es handelt sich hier um ein älteres Haus, das noch einmal für ein paar Jahre zum Hotel aufpoliert wurde. Der Standard ist daher einfach, aber Preis und Lage schlagen alles.

Empfehlenswert, wenn man einen guten Schlaf hat und ansonsten keine besonderen Ansprüche hat.

Die Lage war super. Das Bett war in Ordnung, ebenso die Beleuchtung über dem Waschbecken. Bitte Hinweis darauf, dass die Duschen und die Toiletten außerhalb des Zimmers liegen.

Es war recht laut in der Nacht, dies hatte nach meiner Wahrnehmung nichts mit dem zu Ende gegangenen Fest zu tun. Es war kein Hinweis darauf, dass im Preis kein Frühstück enthalten ist. Insgesamt war es recht beengt. Nachdem die Rezeption geschlossen war, konnte jeder/jede von der Straße in das Hotel gelangen und die Toiletten oder Duschen benutzen.

Property did not tell room 47 has no private bathroom. You have to use outside room to shower and use restroom. No air conditioning was mention also. Room is hot at night. Electric fan was provided but vibrates too much, and will fall from table.

A clean and friendly ho(s)tel with a great views in a great area.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and the location couldn’t have been better. Our view and private bathroom was perfect. Being able to check-in after hours (and a long day) was easy. It was an easy 7-8 minute walk from the train station.

Being asked to pay $20 for a plastic throwaway room key as well as being asked for another $10 towards some city tax after we had already left rubbed us wrong….but it was sorta expected. Most of the restaurants in the area were charging $7-11 for bottles of tap water. I guess when it comes to tourist everyone has a hustle.
