Seven of us (all adults, three couples and one single) stayed 7 nights at this home, for our trip to the Utah and Arizona national parks. Kanab is the perfect location for visiting these places, and the house was in a great location in Kanab.
The home was clean, spacious and in great condition for an old house. I contacted the property manager three different times with requests/questions and the responses were quick and helpful.

Beautiful turn of the century home that is filled with history. Very clean and well stocked. Great location. Walking distance to downtown. Easy access to Zion, Bryce, Lower Antelope Canyon and Kanab sand caves. Owners were available and communicative. Would absolutely stay again.

We enjoyed all the extra touches, like the fully-stocked kitchen, Duraflame logs for the fireplace, etc. When a smoke alarm chirped, the maintenance person came right over and fixed it. Can't wait to come in nice weather to use all the outdoor areas (cold and snowy for our stay).

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean, centrally located to many activities, and very close to restaurants and grocery store. The house itself has all modern appliances and were in good working order and easy to use. We had a fire on the patio at night and enjoyed relaxing in the main area. Kanab Getaway
We love this part of Utah for it’s tremendous diversity of activities. This home worked out well for our group of 9. It’s fun to stay in an historic home. Mind you this one has modern amenities and a spacious kitchen. We would definitely use this property again. I gave 4 stars on the cleanliness not for the inside but for the patio surrounding the fire pit which is overrun with weeds. The property does have a number of antiques and breakable decor which we simply put away in a safe place and put back when we left. This is a great home, beautiful yard for kids to play, and a friendly town to greet you. We’ll be back soon.

Charming home, perfectly situated
This historic home was perfectly situated, with many conveniences within walking/biking distance. The home was clean on the inside and nicely landscaped outside, with ample seating options around the house. Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon are in close proximity, with beautiful scenic drives to both. We would definitely come back.

I Want to Buy it
Literally have no negative. This particular property I loved. So cute. It’s close enough to walk wherever for dinner. The yard is great. I wish we took more time to just hangout on the patio.
The property managers were extremely attentive, they even brought over a 4th of July note. I had one request and they nailed it.
Bottom line, I want to buy the property and keep it as my own with the service of the management company kind of like a full time concierge/housekeeping service.

Love the Yellow House
My colleagues and I plus 2 dogs stayed here for 4 nights. It's a wonderful location and the house is wonderful. It was so easy -- communication was answered quickly and the people were so nice to work with.

Cozy home. Good location close to stores and shopping.
Stayed here over Christmas break for 3 nights with my family of 6. It was very homey with all of the antique furnishings and old school charm. We found the addition of the electric fireplace to be a nice touch, especially in the winter time. Kitchen for the most part was well appointed with essentials for cooking and dining. There was enough room for everyone with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The location of the property is centrally located to all of the stores and shops in Kanab. You get a beautiful view out of all of the windows. Sunsets are AMAZING! Unfortunately for us, weather was not on our side with a pretty severe rain storm that came through. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the outside area or fire pit really at all. The main bedroom mattress is extremely hard and was tough to get comfortable on. The heat in that room was a lot. I am almost always cold and I could barely keep a sheet on it was so hot in there. The water pressure in the main bathroom upstairs was painful. It caught me off guard the first time I showered. The only other thing I might suggest is a couple larger pyrex dishes for cooking. There was a pressure cooker, a French press, and other gadgets but not practical items like a casserole dish. Kitchen was tough to navigate as items were in random places. I am sure it is hard to get guests to put items back where they belong. We definitely want to go back to Kanab, since the weather dampened our plans. This is a great place to stay overall.

We really enjoyed our stay, the dog included! Property is as described and was great for our family of four adults! I’ve never seen a VRBO kitchen as well stocked as this one. It has everything you could want, even a bread maker! We loved walking to dinner with our dog. There are some really good pet-friendly restaurants there. The location of this house was great and enabled us to hit several national parks.
Two suggestions: adjust the lawn sprinkler system to run during the night (at least after 10:00 pm) as it scared the dog and made it hard to go potty before bed. Also, with all that watering the grass was really tall, so you might want to have it mowed more often. Overall, great house. We’d absolutely stay there again.

Wonderful house for large group.
Pros: Beautiful house, short walk from everything you need. (Peekaboo Canyon pizza is superb!) Well equipped kitchen, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Location is central to North rim, Zion, Bryce.
Cons: property management didn't respond to messages sent through vrbo, had to text him directly to get response. Living room and library lack seating for more than 5 people, large groups need to spread out through house.

Family of 4 very pleased with our 3 night stay. Great place to settle in. We rarely cook while on vacation but it was so easy to do for 2 of our 3 nights there. Loved the historical farmhouse feel but all amenities completely modern. A/C worked well in super hot weather. Property manager easily reachable when we left behind an item. Definitely recommend.

Lovely Home, close to Parks
We (3 women and 3 teens) stayed for four nights in this gorgeous, historic home. There was plenty of space to gather after our days of hiking: in the living room, dining room, on the patio, and in the wonderfully-appointed kitchen that has everything you could think of for cooking. At the same time, there was lots of private space as well, so we could retreat in to our own bedrooms and bathrooms at night for some quiet time.
Convenient Zion, Bryce, and the north rim of the Grand Canyon, as well as lots of local and state parks, I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I ever come back to the area. Kanab is a gem, and so is this home!

Stayed with my family and my brothers family. Had a great time visiting Zion, Bryce, and surrounding areas. The house had a very well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and pots. It was clean. Some bathrooms were small but with 4 of them it worked out great Overall though it was great.

Great house!! Enjoyed boating on Lake Powell & hiking the parks & canyons nearby then relaxing in the comfy chairs out on the patio for the evening. The kitchen has anything you could ever need and the beds are comfortable. Would come back here in a heartbeat ❤️

We had an amazing trip to utah. On top of the beautiful area we were able to stay at this amazing house. The family would have considered just staying at the house because it was so nice and comfortable. We did venture off to site see, but it was nice to come back and relax at night. Great location, close to restaurants, good for 6 adults
The house was big enough for 6 adults to enjoy comfortably, we liked sitting around the firepit. We walked to all the restaurants, we highly suggest Sego! The owners got back to us quickly with any questions we had before and during. We would stay there again.
