Das private Doppelzimmer ist sehr schön und günstig.
Leider gibt es nur ein Bad für mehrere Zimmer.

There is no soap in the bathroom.

Good Location
Doors are extremely loud, showers just have cold / medium warm water
7.0 / 10.0
The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was hot and the bathroom was clean. There was reliable WiFi.
The kitchen was clean, we didn't use it but it looked well equipped.
The staff were friendly. Good for a short stay.
There was no refill water.
There isn't a 24 hour reception and even though they had signs in the rooms on how to access the hostel at night, through a little window on the door, many people were banging on the door throughout the night. They need to make it clear at check-in how to open the door to avoid this.

dorm is big and beds were comfortable but….
Staff didn’t speak English which is absolutely fine, they still made an effort to communicate with their phone
My bed had bugs and i ended up waking up covered head to toe in bites so ended up leaving a night early.
My bed in the dorm was next to the bathroom therefore anytime the shower was on it sounded like it was being drilled. the bathroom was not the cleanest.
This isn’t a party hostel but one guy decided to blare music until 6am and as there isn’t any staff at night there was nothing anyone could do. it was a nightmare and no one got any sleep. They give you a number for whatsapp to contact which we did and they didn’t even read it therefore bit worrying if there was an emergency during the night. I would just avoid altogether

The room was nice and the bed was comfi. The rootmftop terrace is wonderful to hang out and meet people! The price is very well. Its also kind of quiet, depends which room you have but San Pedro is usually quite noisy....
The fridge had some very old leftover food inside....

I guess the only nice things are the rooftop terrace and the size of the rooms.
There are amazing cheap places with a very nice lake view in San Pedro.
A member of the staff gave my bed to another guest. When the person who was on my bed among my things said it was the bed they were given, I looked for an explanation but the staff member was just like: "just go to another bed"... I had them removed the new guest from my bed and change the sheets and the staff was so unprofessional about it trying to find lame excuses and really not customer oriented.
The whole place is super loud, every cm of the hostel is very close to the very loud street.
I was never shown the kitchen, the rooftop or the free filtered water which is hidden for some stingy reason I guess.

good location, beds were comfy, and rooftop area was lovely. the manager was also super helpful (need to message in Spanish otherwise we got no reply)
staff didn’t speak any English, but that is as much our fault as theirs. one of the staff stole our cash with a couple of hours of being in the property (despite this, the manager was super helpful in finding our cash and returning it)

clean and cheap, good for the price you pay for. would stay here again
shower head was strange and gave us a electric shock when you touched it.

location is the worst stay away. staff min existent I came at 9 pm and had to break in in order to get to my room

It has a nice terrace, the money-value is great, no party hostel
There was no option to get filtered water except in the reception which was not always open during daytime

Clean
Has all the basic hostel stuff.
Not far from the docks, but up a steep hill.
Area feels a little bit shady at night.
Staff aren't particularly friendly. Pretty certain English is not spoken. Not a big issue for me, but could difficult for some.

Single beds were in far corners of the room (just 4 of us), so plenty of space. Clean, and the kitchen was good.
Shower fan was LOUD & had to be on with the light; shower squeeled at a high pitch. Cleaners came & opened our door several times a day. Rooftop terrace faced town, not the lake!

The rooms looked like the pictures. The rooftop was a really nice place to relax. Double rooms were great value for a couple. Quiet hostel, which means you can get a good sleep. Short walk from the main area of San Pedro.
No soap in the bathrooms to wash your hands.

Great location. Friendly staff
Uncomfortable springy beds. Door handle to room broken
8.0 / 10.0
The location is a few blocks from the San Pedro La Laguna public launch dock. Each bunk bed has a privacy curtain. The bathrooms are inside each room and clean. The public lounge is on the top floor, including the kitchen, and wash sinks. There is a line to hang some laundry to air dry. The price per bed is reasonable. It's a nice place to connect with world travelers.
To insure a reserved bed, make a reservation a few days in advance.

it looked like in the pictures, was clean and quiet.
the hostel is very basic- only for sleeping. dead silent all the time, no fun common area for travelers.. didn’t have soap/towel in the bathroom- again, very basic.

The room was quite big
The bed was ok but lots of noise in the morning, maid came in to clean the bathroom at 8am which hadn’t been cleaned before I arrived.
I was charged 200Q when the price online was 160Q not a huge difference but still annoying to have been quoted the wrong price. It says online that you may be charged extra if the room is not filled but the room was full.
Room was freezing at night and didn’t have good enough blankets so I didn’t sleep very well. Fireworks also were going off right outside the window at 6am on a Sunday.
It was a hospital room so not very comfortable and felt very clinical.
You have to walk uphill very steep for about 10 mins to get there from the town which, when you’ve got heavy bags is not ideal.
There was no social element at all.
