This incredible executive Eagle Lake vacation home (built in 2020) provides luxury comforts while you experience everything the Northwoods has to offer. For year-round fun, this home is located just steps away from Eagle Lake. The setting, panoramic lake views and sunsets are stunning. Eagle Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes on the 28 lake Eagle River Chain, the world’s largest chain of lakes. And the amenities that we provide are second to none.
Sunset Lodge is surrounded by natural beauty. Over 2,000 glacially created lakes, 72 crystal clear rivers and streams, millions of acres of pristine public forests, a community of unique villages and townships. Over 500 miles of snowmobile trails, outstanding downhill and cross country skiing, year round trails in the heart of our forests, from hiking, jogging, and biking, to winter sports. Incredible wildlife includes bald eagles (the highest concentration in the state), deer, loons, otter, fox, geese and more.
Upon entry to Sunset Lodge, you are greeted with a stunning open concept floor plan filled with natural light from the large lakeside windows and 20 foot high ceilings. The 1,500 square great room offers plenty of seating for everyone. There is an Amish custom dining table that seats 16 plus additional seating at the island with bar stools. The gourmet kitchen has hickory cabinets, all stainless-steel appliances and is equipped with everything that you will need during your stay. Enjoy the beautiful fireplace while playing a game of pool. There are 6 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The entire home is furnished with beautiful North woods décor and can comfortably sleeps 20 (best for 14 adults and 6 children).
Relax in knowing that no matter what age, everyone will enjoy their time here. Outside is a large patio with a dining table, lounge chairs and two large gas grills, with propane included. The large yard is level. Swimming is ideal for all ages. With a hard sand bottom, shallow at the shore for the little ones, and practically no stairs leading to the lake. There is a wonderful dock and fire pit with complementary firewood. Enjoy the hammock, lounge chairs, stand up boards, kayaks, huge play yard and play gym, outdoor tournament ping pong, horseshoes and so much more.
Angling for all species is outstanding. The Eagle River Chain hosts several musky tournaments including the World Musky Championship. Eagle Lake is a favorite for musky, walleye, small mouth bass, crappie and a variety of panfish. We can arrange for you to fish with the area’s top guides.
Whether fishing, boating, waterskiing, swimming, or snowmobiling you’ll love every minute on the World Famous Eagle River Chain of Lakes. Lots of huge positives with this lodge. Right on one of the best parts of Eagle lake with a nice dock, fun outdoor seating for gathering around a fire, huge great room with foosball, pool, and card table. And room for a huge crew...we lost track of all the beds. And Miranda was fantastic in terms of communicating and going out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. She even arranged for a large pontoon boat to be delivered to the dock that we could have used (for a fee) which was super convenient. We would definitely recommend to anyone with a large family or group ...lots of seating areas both when hanging out or for dinner. And within walking distance of the Chanticleer Inn and quick drive to town or the marina where there are more boats available for rent. Lastly, seems like a great fishing spot.

We vacation together for a week every summer and this place was a real treat! We loved the great room - there were 12 of us and we never felt crowded. The kitchen was well equipped and our cooks loved the double ovens and the crock pot. The dining table was big enough for all of us. We used the paddle boats, the kayaks and the splash pad. My personal favorite was the fire pit … we used it at least 4 times during our stay.
Miranda was very helpful and patient with all of my questions. Getting in was as easy as getting the code to the doors.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property. Miranda was very helpful and attentive, but not intrusive. The property was neat and clean. The backyard was open and fun for the kids and the waterfront was perfect for swimming. We rented a pontoon boat from just down the river. No in/out of water. Just motored down the river to the home. The only issue we had was the neighbors a few doors to the east were noisy with their ATVs and music into the night. Big picture - great stay and thank you Miranda for your hospitality.

This property was amazing! We had 3 moms and 6 teens stay for 2 nights for an amazing senior trip. We had a spectacular time. There were 2 paddle boards, an aqua lily pad and 5 kayaks. The kids swam and caught a ton of fish, we all sat around the fire and played trivia and made s'mores. The pool table, foosball game, and the poker table were so much fun. The fireplace was spectacular. The kids were freezing after swimming in May and they all played games by the fireplace to warm up. The water is sandy and not very deep so one of our girls learned how to swim! The 2 grills were in perfect shape and we made delicious meals. We went through a pretty intense storm and the property manager had great communication with us. I am so happy with our stay! This property is well worth the money. Downtown Eagle River was delightful and we went on an amazing self guided waterfall tour! If you are looking for adventure google Duppy Falls and Jumbo Falls and bring your fishing poles.

We had a group of 15 friends and were super happy with this place. The property manager Miranda was amazing, quick to respond and very helpful. We walked right onto the lake and caught a few walleyes on tip ups. Really nice outdoor firering with an ample supply of wood. Pool table, foosball, poker table and tons of games. Loved the open concept, large dining table and fireplace! It does sleep 20 but that is sharing beds and no room for air mattresses in the bedrooms. We all agreed we would love to rent in the summer too!!!

5 families (10 adults and 8 children ages 9-15) under one roof. The house has a lot of open room. We never felt like we were on top of each other. Large back yard and sandy bottom lake front for kids to swim. It is very shallow and need to be careful with trimming up the boat prop. We enjoyed nightly campfires, card games on the poker table, foosball, swimming and fishing right off the dock as well as boating daily and shopping at nearby downtown shopping area. Property Manager was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall we all were very happy with the house.
Tip for boat launchers…Although Boat Sport is right down the road to launch your boat, we recommend driving around the lake to the large public boat launch on Eagle Lake that has a larger turn around and wide boat launch area. Boat Sport’s launch is very tight and has a packed parking lot to turn and line up to launch.

This house on Eagle Lake has everything you would ever want for a group get together. Absolute perfect house layout for hanging out, and the house was clean and had everything you would need. It is kept up amazing, and the host was extremely helpful. I absolutely would recommend this house for families or groups. You won't be disappointed!

We had 4 hockey families staying here for a 3 on 3 tournament. The entire cabin was beautiful. Plenty of room for all of us. Blizzard conditions most of the weekend but kids still always found something to do. Cannot recommend this place enough. So much fun and property managers are extremely helpful. This place was incredible! We have been renting up north for the past 10 years and this place is our family’s new favorite. Kitchen has everything you will need, it’s one huge open concept room with plenty of seating. Kitchen table was awesome! We ice fished and did okay right in front of the house. Overall a great stay!

It's new, it's extremely clean, it has a huge common space with zoned areas for different activities so everyone does what they like while staying together, it has big bedrooms with plenty of sleeping spaces, it has an amazing backyard with access to a lake... Also, communication with property's owner/manager was always reliable and quick. We highly recommend this place to everyone!

The check in/out process was incredibly easy. It was extremely comfortable for a group of our size. The dining table, seating, bathrooms, and firepit all made it comfortable for a large group. The games and amenities kept our kids happy and busy our entire stay. The management was great, we had a plumbing issue during our stay and the management came out immediately and fixed the problem. We loved our time at the Sunset Lodge and would highly recommend it.
