The Stable was a charming property, very clean, fully equipped kitchen and beautiful garden, ideal for what we needed. It is wonderfully located for various attractions/places to visit. The owners Tracey and Barrie were really lovely and accommodating, even giving us sweetpeas from their garden and offering us to help ourselves to lettuces growing outside. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would have no hesitation in returning. Thank you both!

Very comfy house and welcoming hosts. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing week's holiday. Centrally located to lots of great walks, gardens, shops, trains etc. Very comfortable lounge area with floor to ceiling glass looking out onto a beautiful garden which is shared with the owners, well equipped good sized kitchen and very comfortable beds.

Fantastic
The Stable, a two bedroomed converted stable holiday let is the most stunning place to stay. Beautiful inside and out. Spacious and beautifully designed and decorated, with a conservatory excellently equipped kitchen and a gorgeous bathroom with both large bath and shower. The stunning garden with a stream running through it and passing the side of the stable is ja peaceful haven complete with eating area, and a lovely bird table. We will be back!

Great retreat near path to forest
Everything went incredibly well, Tracy and Barry were absolutely lovely and it was great to meet them. Great facilities and the owners' attentiveness was second to none. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in such a beautiful setting again.

Revitalising Wiltshire Getaway
We have really enjoyed our week at The Stable. Tracy and Barry were excellent hosts, and we felt more like guests than clients. Nothing was too much trouble.
The accommodation was of high quality, and managed to be both quirky and practical. We were there as a couple, but would have comfortably held four. Coved rules were all fastidiously applied.
We wouldn’t usually have chosen a residential area to stay, but being able to go on great walks from the doorstep; pick up supplies from a Tesco round the corner; and a central base for car trips proved a winning combination! We were very thankful for the excellent local knowledge Tracy and Barry supplied that put the icing on the cake of a great week away.
So thank you both very much! Pity that Covid19 ruled out any handshakes and hugs on our departure! Keith and Rhian

Superb stay at The Stables
We arrived at the property to find it exactly like the photos ... quality furnishings and equipment ... spacious and light...absolutely spotless. The owners Tracy and Barry were fantastic hosts ... getting along with their daily life but there should you need them . Their garden... which was open to share was a tranquil haven and a credit to them . Couldn’t have asked for a better location to visit the landmarks of both Wiltshire and Somerset. A definite recommendation to family and friends . A five star stay without a doubt .

Lovely 2 week stay in The Stable
I stayed here for 2 weeks with my 18 year old daughter. It was delightful - Tracy and Barrie were very friendly and helpful, and The Stable is a lovely, light, airy, well-proportioned, quiet property overlooking their beautiful garden and right next to lovely forest walking. A Tesco Express and Takeaways are nearby, or town is a 5 minute drive away. A lovely place to stay and a perfect hub to explore the many beautiful cities, villages and countryside nearby. Lots to do, and lovely to come 'home' to The Stable after a day out.

Lovely home from home
Great style, very clean and well equipped, roomy, stunning garden with a nice stream running through (great in the hot weather).
Really nice hosts,Tracy and Barry and well behaved dogs, chickens and cockerel!
The dining room was to hot to use due to the fabulous weather we enjoyed ...a tiny issue which can be resolved with a reflective roof in the conservatory.
Overall we enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend to friends and family.
