About this house rental

Pleasant Grove Cottages offers two beautiful mountain view cottages located just six miles from Asheville. TheMisty Mtn Cottage is equipped with everything you need including cookware, coffee maker(s) k-cup and ground, a deck with BBQ and a four personhot tub with beautiful mountain views. We are pet friendly and offer Hi-speed internet for business travelers. This is a perfect location to explore Asheville, The Biltmore or the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lastly, our cottages are beyond clean and receive great reviews.
Misty Mtn Cottage is our our center cottage, offering the most panoramic views at Pleasant Grove Cottages. The master bedroom has a King bed and a private bathroom with shower. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and a guest bathroom with bathtub across the hall. There is also a half bath upstairs for convenience. The living area is on the top floor, consisting of a living room with a smart TV, Gas Fireplace and a queen open up couch. There is also a dining room, kitchen area and deck with a BBQ and a patio outside of the master bedroom. Almost every room in the cottage has a beautiful view of the mountains.
Each cottage is provided two parking spots near each unit. If more vehicles are on site the guest may need to double park, ensuring not to block other guests in and out access.
Misty Mtn Cottage offers amazing mountain views while being only 3 miles to charming downtown Weaverville. The Blue Ridge Parkway, Rheems Creek Golf Course and hiking are all just down the road. Asheville is just 6 miles away.
At Pleasant Grove Cottages our standard cleaning regiment includes special emphasis on sanitizing and disinfecting all high touch point surfaces throughout. Clean and well equipped. Pet friendly area. We loved the balcony and the fireplace was comfy. We were close to many destinations. We couldn’t make it in October but I’m sure the views would be outstanding with the leaves changing. Thanks to host John for a pleasant experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the Misty Mountain Cabin. Everything was perfect and the location was very convenient. 10 minutes to downtown Asheville. I would highly recommend this cabin and the view from the balcony was beautiful.

First, the host John was wonderful. He responded to texts quickly and was accommodating. He is in the neighborhood if there are any issues, which is a plus. Next, the cottages are the perfect location with such beautiful views! I could have sat on the deck all day! It’s a short drive into Asheville but also near Blue Ridge Parkway and the Smokies which was a must for the scenic views. John provides detailed information about favored things to do around Asheville. Lastly, it is a pet friendly cottage, with a bar dog park that is located minutes from the cottage. Believe me, both you and your dog will enjoy this dog park! There is also a golf course nearby and many other recreational activities. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated yet very comfortable. I would absolutely stay there again!

Cottage and view was lovely. We had everything we needed. The owner’s communication was great beforehand and he texted while there just to make sure everything was ok. While he is nearby in case you need him was certainly not intrusive. We enjoyed exploring during the day and coming back to relax and catch up on the balcony or the cosy living room before going to sleep in the comfy beds. Would certainly go back.

While we were in the Asheville area for a business seminar, we welcomed to opportunity to use it as a birthday getaway with our friends. She was pleasantly surprised, and we ALL enjoyed the beautiful view and going to dinner in Weaverville nearby! I think I love that town! The beds were VERY comfortable to me, and I've had spinal fusion, so was not expecting to sleep so good! I loved the furnishing and cabin decor VERY MUCH! Hope to come back sometime.

We totally enjoyed our time at this lovely property. Great kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds, fantastic view from the deck and from large windows and sliders in living room and kitchen. It's very convenient to get into Asheville to see all the sights and visit the great restaurants and breweries. A little further than we would have liked to get to most of the hiking trails. The town of Weaverville is charming, has good restaurants, a brewery and a lovely nature trail. Lisa, the property manager was always available and extremely helpful with anything we needed. I can't wait to go back in Autumn when the view of colorful leaves must be spectacular!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Reems Creek. The house was well kept and clean. The owner himself helped us when my husbands motorcycle failed to start and we had to push it back up on its trailer. Our dog loved the nearby local nature park in Weaverville, and the local soccer field which had the creek running through it to cool off in. Enjoyed the view and the fireflies at night as well as seeing a lightening storm over the mountains. Everything worked from the AC down to the coffee pot. Good middle of the area place to take off from if you are hiking, shopping in Asheville or generally drivng to access the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The duplex was very nice and well stocked with household products, kitchen gear, towels, and the whole place was really nice. Beautiful view on the back patio. We did have a few minor issues with the internet, a few electric plugs, but all in all , it was a great place to stay and close to everything we wanted to do.

My friends and I loved our time at the Reems Creek property. It was very clean and we found all the amenities as advertised. The access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu was a nice added touch. While the location was a bit further away from most of the places we visited, it wasn't a huge issue and would not deter us from staying there again. The process for booking and accessing our digital key was very easy as was the communication with the property manager. Thanks for helping us have a great trip!

Park college was very clean and comfortable. The upstairs has a nice living room dining room and kitchen area with a balcony overlooking the mountains. Great views from the back. The downstairs has two bedrooms and a walkout porch with nice views as well. The barbecue works great. John, the owner, was prompt to answer any questions that may arose. Everything worked out great. The cottage and area is very dog friendly. Our dog when he loved it there! Highly recommend for couples and families with or without pets!

The view was beautiful, the cottage very comfortable, and extremely clean. It is very convenient to everything we did and there are a lot of nice little restaurants in Weaverville. We would be happy to stay again. However, I don’t really think it would sleep six uness you have two very small people on the pull out.

Fantastic property; the photos don't do it justice! Lovely home, comfortable, clean and wonderful views and location. We felt really at home and loved being able to bring our dog. Everything you need is right there and the location is wonderful for Weaverville, Asheville, and accessing the Blue Ridge Parkway and hikes in the mountains. Easy communications and clear instructions at the house. We hope to be back!
