This house has beach access at the rear of the house and is a short 0.2-mile stroll to the heart of downtown Rockaway Beach. Explore numerous dining options and fun shops in town, visit the International Police Museum, or catch a ride on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad. The fishing village of Garibaldi is 5.2 miles to the south where you can pick up some fresh seafood at the Garibaldi Marina. Tillamook is 13 miles south where you will find the famous Tillamook Creamery.

Place was older but clean. Absolute ocean front location, that’s the biggest selling point for this property. Quiet street and easy parking. Will stay again. No washer and dryer though, I must have misread the description

Two night stay for annual family trip to the coast. Location couldn’t be better. A Thorough cleaning is absolutely essential. The amount of dust in the air vent as you walk in is filthy. The dirty socks under the main bed and huge hairball clogging the bath drain are just poor housekeeping practices. (Photos available)

The view was incredible! We loved hiw the windows on the back of the house faced the ocean. You could watch the waves as you fixed dinner. The deck was nice to sit on and enjoy the sun and ocean waves. The beach is literally out the back door! My family spend many hours on the beach. I will be staying here again if we decide to go to rockaway beach. P.S. take your kids on the train the station in a 3 minute walk fron this house.

Great location with beautiful ocean view & easy access to beach & nearby towns. Would recommend updating, as it is quite rundown. Definitely need to replace carpet, as it smells musty, probably due to beach location. Small amenities that would be nice are icemaker and maybe a keurig type coffeepot. A washer & dryer would be nice, as well. We also had to space out showers/baths due to hot water issues. On a positive note, bathrooms, kitchen & linens were clean, but there was dust in heater vents and above 6 feet. There was a nice variety of kitchen appliances, and you can't beat the location. We also enjoyed the porch & watching sunsets from the balcony.

We stayed 4 days in this home. The furniture is gently used as expected and the home was clean. The beds were pretty comfy and there was plenty of space for us all. The beach access is right out the front door and the view from the home is wonderful. Town is walking distance. I would recommend and would like to come back again in the summer 🌞

Five of us were very comfortable. The house had everything we needed. You cannot beat looking at the ocean while you enjoy your morning coffee. Very close to beach access- a little tricky if you are older. We hope to be back!!

Really loved this spot, and suited me and my 83-year-old Papa very well, as it was a short walk to the beach. We also really enjoyed the views sitting in the living room and kitchen, staring out at the ocean. The only thing that I found, less than ideal, was the very very soft mattress. That did not bode well for my back or my neck after four nights stay. My only request for our location like this is to have a newer mattress that might be a little firmer for most folks, lovely .

Overall an amazing stay and we love this location so much. Great views of the ocean and a great layout. The only thing was it was not very well deep cleaned. Lots of sand in some areas, counters did not seem wiped down well, and lots of dog hair still under couches, and extra blankets.

Enjoyed our visit. Nice views from the house and deck. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, pans etc. Shower head in main bathroom needs replacing. Other than that enjoyable stay.

We only were able to stay 2 nights in our road trip but was well worth it. Place is right on the beach and was very peaceful listening to the ocean especially at night. Would definitely stay again if in the area again but would stay longer.

This was a perfect little cabin for us. Location was ideal. Easy walk to grocery store, restaurants and local attraction stores. Beautiful view of the ocean being right on the beach. Kitchen well stocked. Lots of towels, extra blankets. Fans in every bedroom. I might suggest a shoe tray for the back door as there is always sand coming in on our shoes even when we wipe them off. It’s a beach! :)

The location can’t be beat- beautiful views of the ocean and steps from the beach. The kitchen is well equipped and the house was clean. Comfortably fit 6 adults, 1 baby and 1 dog and was well supplied for a 3 day visit. I would stay here again.

As others have mentioned, the location and views are exceptional. From the main living area the ocean is right there! Everything is comfortable and the layout is great. The home was clean and Vacasa was quick to respond when we had a temporary internet outage (not a house issue). We would definitely stay here again! The four star rating is only because it's not luxurious and the bathrooms, kitchen, and carpet are pretty dated. But honestly, that worked fine for us!

The house itself was nice, but the windows on the Oceanside of the house were filthy! We actually had to clean them in order to see out of them clearly. He Not the way we wanted to start our vacation! It's not right that we have to pay a cleaning deposit and we still have to clean. Also some instructions on how to use the DVD player would have been nice. We couldn't figure it out.

The view from the house and the location obviously can’t be beat, but the house is in desperate need of new carpet. I noticed in previous reviews that others mentioned the urine smell and that Vacasa responded that “the carpet had been shampooed,” but no amount of shampoo could cover up that smell. It’s particularly strong in the upstairs bedroom, but the smell travels to the main living area, too. Also similar to other reviews, Vacasa needs to update the e-lock entry instructions, as they only provide the code but not that you hit the check mark after nor that you press the logo to lock the door. So: come for the view and fantastic beach access, but be prepared for the stench.

The View of the ocean was spectacular! Woke up to a splendid view of the Pacific the next day! Sun even poked out each morning for a few hours! The cabin has a nice cabin feel w/it’s open high beamed ceilings and wood paneled walls. Central heat is good for the cold. Only drawback was I could only find 1 frying Pan, medium-sized. Maybe a small one and large one could be stocked?

Great beach location for fall. Windows are great to view the beach and waves. Right next to public access so may be less private and an issue in summer. I thought the flowered floor in bathroom was carpet but actually linoleum. Rugs in entry would be helpful. Crab crackers would be helpful.

The house was amazing, the location was prime and the weather was amazing! All in all, fantastic house and great town. Vacasa made the whole stay worry free and smooth as silk!
