Great short stay

Fantastic spot, small walk from the fort. Awesome hosts that were very kind and approachable. Fantastic shower!! Very comfortable bed too. This was great for our one night stay.

Sentirsi come a casa!

Struttura gestita da italiani, pulitissima con camere molto spaziose. Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte ed i proprietari visto il brutto tempo sono stati disponibili nel prepararci la cena. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Consigliatissimo!

A nice hotel, whose staff made for a pleasant and enjoyable stay

The people. The best thing about this property is the owners and staff, who are invariably really helpful, warm and friendly. It is a very relaxing place to stay, they put you at your ease and offer advice re travel etc… The staff have good English. I was given tea when I arrived. Guests appreciate stuff like this after a journey. The room was spacious, clean and the shower was good. The wifi worked. The breakfast was good and filling, the coffee was nice. It is close to the train and bus stations. The owners have several cats. These are friendly and not a problem and some people may enjoy them.

Not a scenic part of town by any means, but easily within walking distance of the fort area (where accommodation is more expensive). The area felt safe. No kettle in the room, On the other hand, there were no ants, which are a problem in Sri Lanka. It may be that they don’t put tea-making facilities in the rooms because the milk, sugar etc… would attract insects. If so, this is fair enough.

Sri Lankan & Italian hospitality!

Excellent place for your staying in Galle. Perfect location, very close to bus station and Galle Fort. Comfortable and clean rooms, excellent breakfast with Italian coffee! Gine and Enza are super nice host and will make you feel home!

Wir würden erneut kommen

Schöne Unterkunft mit sauberen und großen Zimmern mit Balkon. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Obwohl wir viel zu früh am Hotel angekommen sind, wurde uns sofort ein Kaffee angeboten und auf der Dachterrasse Sonnenliegen zurecht gestellt, um die Zeit bis zum Check in zu überbrücken.

Leider lagen ständig Katzen auf den Tischen, an denen gegessen wurde.

Uitstekende keus als je Galle bezoekt

We hadden een lekker grote kamer met ook een grote badkamer. Het bed is erg comfortabel. Fijn is dat er een koelkast in de kamer staat. Er is bijzonder veel aandacht besteed aan de aankleding van het hotel met allerlei planten. Zelfs op de kamer stond een orchidee. De ligging is in het centrum en vlakbij het station. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

I would definitely stay once again in the property.

The room, balcony, structure of the entire setup was excellent. I would give 100 for the location & the staff.

There are too many cats inside the property. Probably the only negative about the entire space.

Bardzo mili włosi i obsługa. Można pograc w piłkarzyki. Polecam :))) Niedaleka odległość od fortu i latarni morskiej. Śniadanko bardzo dobre. :)

Очень стильный уютный отель. Персонал прекрасный, номер супер чистый! Впервые за 7 отелей на Шри Ланке я с удовольствием проводила время в душе, а не торопилась сбежать оттуда: не было муравьев, был нормальный напор и горячая вода лилась не пять минут. Хорошее расположение

Завтраки были вкусные, но совсем без мяса, сосиски и чего-либо еще. Только яйцо, фрукты и вафли. Возможно, для кого-то это важно.

Very clean and comfortable

Good location near the train station and walking distance from Galle Fort. Very clean and comfortable room even to wash your clothes. Breakfast was OK and the local staff was great.

Se dovessi tornare in Sri Lanka sarebbe uno degli hotel preferiti

Struttura molto accogliente, arredata in modo molto elegante, camera molto grande con aria condizionata, bagno grande anch’esso e perfettamente funzionante. Letto molto comodo. Colazione molto abbondante, con ottimo cappuccino, ottimo dolce non artigianale, ma fatto dal personale della struttura. Diverse varietà di frutta freschissima e di ottima qualità. I proprietari sono stati molto ospitali e ci hanno viziate con molte attenzioni. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura!!!!

Great stay here good location, friendly staff and beautiful rooms.

This property is lovely. The hosts are great. It is a lovely mix of Sr Lankan and Italian. We are one of the best pasta dishes we have ever had here, including eating in Italy. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the atmosphere is great.

Everything was great. There were a lot of stairs but that was OK.

Highly recommend this place! All staff were wonderful. It was comfortable and hosts were super helpful. Breakfast was delicious- probably the best of our Sri Lankan Holiday. Will definitely return.

Beautiful house, beautiful breakfasts, beautiful couple! 💕

Beautiful, clean, freshly renovated, stylish property in a quiet street in Galle; just a 5-10 minutes nice walk from the old town. Our room was clean, comfortable, spacious, with an equally clean & spacious bathroom & a great wrap around balcony & serious value for money! We stayed 3 nights & wish we had stayed longer. Fab breakfast that just keeps on coming, with great coffee! Varied every day & was delicious every time. However - the BEST thing about this property is the hosts & their fab staff ❤ Husband (Sri Lankan) & wife (Italian) couple, Jine & Enza; made us feel so welcome & always had time to chat about our day, recommend places to visit; & even when we returned after a night out - invited us to join them with their friends with Italian wine, salami, cheeses... incredible. Don't look anywhere else - this is THE PLACE to stay in Galle. We miss it all the time - best place in our trip to Sri Lanka BY FAR. If you're staying in Galle... nowhere can beat it!

Brilliant hotel

Excellent location near station. Spotlessly clean, cleanest we've seen in Sri Lanka. Really great shower, and not a wet room. Delicious and large breakfast. Drying rack in room and big bed. And lots of lovely cats!

Toller Aufenthalt!

Das B&B liegt ca. 10 Gehminuten von Galle Fort entfernt. Das Zimmer und vor allem das Bad waren schön und super sauber. Das Frühstück war lecker und es gab guten italienischen Kaffee. Die Gastgeber und das Personal waren sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Man hat sich rundum wohl und zufrieden gefühlt.

Exceptional hotel, definitely recommend

We absolutely loved this hotel, the staff are so welcoming, the hotel itself is impressive, impeccable design and cleanliness, really modern and very clean. The breakfast is really good, filling and a good range of items. The bed is comfortable and the room has all the amenities you would need. Large balcony with drying rack, huge shower which is designed beautifully. We would definitely recommend this hotel, is it just a short walk to the cricket stadium, the fort and the lighthouse is about 2km away but there is plenty to see on your walk down.

It is slightly noisy around the area but we’ve found that to be quite common in Sri Lanka. Perhaps a kettle in the rooms but nothing major.

Great location, close to the main sights of the city, supermarkets and restaurants. The room is probably the cleanest one we had in Sri Lanka, good AC and perfect internet. Breakfast was really good also. Would clearly recommend.

Good spot for the cost

The property was very clean and our room was large. The staff were friendly. We stayed just one night but it was a good deal price wise. The breakfast was one of the best we had at our stays in Sri Lanka. The WiFi worked better in the cafe downstairs than in our room.

The location is a bit further away from the main tourist spots (about a 20 minute walk). The price reflects this and I’m sure it would be more expensive to stay closer to the main tourist fort area. There was only a sheet on the bed instead of a blanket but this was true for a lot of places we stayed.

Cute little hotel in walking distance from Fort

Very nice and cute little hotel. The owner has lived in Italia for many years and bring not only great coffee :-) but also Italian charm in the interior with him to Sri Lanka. The prices are super compared to expensive hotels in the fort, where you can easily walk to. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast is rich, you can choose from different egg dishes and on top get waffles and fresh fruit.

位置佳距車站近，住宿環境典雅，房間舒適設備齊全，還有個大陽台，最棒的還不止這些，早餐鮮美豐富，主人和員工熱誠有禮，協助解決旅遊問題等，真慶幸我選擇了它，來galle,千萬別錯過它，否則一定後悔喔！

對愛泡熱茶的我們，房間內沒有電熱水壺，是唯一的遺憾。

Tolle Unterkunft zur Besichtigung von Galle

Galle Funktionale Zimmer mit tollem Bad. Lobby mit anspruchsvoller Optik . Das alles hätten wir nicht erwartet , als wir uns vom Busbahnhof ( nur 500 m Fußweg) der Unterkunft nährten . Alles wirklich top . Frühstück klasse. Bester Kaffee. Lage aufgrund der Nähe zum Bahnhof / Busbahnhof und Galle Fort perfekt . Man kann alles zu Fuß machen . Zu den Katzen wurde ja schon was geschrieben . Sie störten wirklich nicht. Also für eine Besichtigung von Galle oder Zwischenstopp eine absolute Empfehlung.

Prachtige plek

Prachtige ruime kamer, lekker bed en een goede douche. Een heel aardig italiaans- sri lankaans stel die dit kleine hotel (dacht rond de 6 kamers) runnen. Het ontbijt is het beste wat we tijdens onze vakantie op hebben, afwisselend en met hele lekkere koffie!

Lovely stay, would return here again,

Great location just 10 minutes walking to the Fort and very quiet. The area was Less touristy. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. really excellent bathroom with powerful shower and large sink. Breakfast was calm, quiet, and the food was great. There was a different home made fruit juice both days and a different sweet treat to go with the fruit (waffles and cake), eggs how you want and the owner went out of his way to buy a type of flower for making us a decaffeinated hot drink to go with our breakfast.

Room was a little dark when needing privacy from the window and a bit noisy on the weekend at night.

The staff was very helpful and complaisant; on the last day me and my friend were leaving early in the morning to catch a flight and the owner made sure to give us a breakfast to-go since we wouldn't be able to eat one in the accommodation.

Beautiful comfortable accommodation with amazing breakfast!

Everything! Room is big and clean with a balcony, very lovely bathroom. Breakfast is lovely! The host and their staff are so nice also. We had a great stay and will recommend anyone to stay at Brixia.
