Easy access, friendly staff, great location and great breakfast.
4.2
Location, cleanliness, breakfast, spacious room
Noisy room with something out the window-hvac?- going all night long that kept some of us awake or woke us up over and over; no view but a wall outside the window; no fridge; no real glasses or cups but all disposables - at least some of it paper; definitely needs a bit more class (lounge chairs very uncomfortable), but it has potential, maybe hire a better designer; receptionist could not check us in when we arrived because we booked through booking.com so we could not really freshen up and change before our event other than in public washrooms but they gave us breakfast vouchers to make up for it which was appreciated;

This is a "vintage chic" boutique hotel that's close to many fun activities in downtown Spokane. We were able to walk or easily ride public transportation to almost anywhere. Good restaurant choices nearby, as well.
The HVAC in the room (a mini-split) wasn't great. It was too warm and quite humid in the room (71% relative humidity, according to the unit's display), even though we had it set to cool to 70 degrees F. We had to get up a few times in the night to bump the temp down further. Not sure if our unit wasn't working correctly, or if that's normal. Also, LOTS of unhoused folks in the area, many of whom were yelling loudly, and one of whom was spitting on the windows, then wiping the spit off with his blanket.

Staff was very nice. Rooms were modern and exceptionally clean. Bed was very comfortable. Room had decaf Keurig coffee (which is rare).
Room had one small frosted window hidden behind the bed headboard so it did not let in light and the room felt claustrophobic. Ceilings have little to insulation so you can hear every noise above you. Housekeeping missed us the first night and there was a shortage of room keys and towels. And there was a college team staying there that ate all of the breakfast - hotel did not plan for that so there was nothing left for the guests. Also there is no dedicated valet so the front desk takes turn parking and retrieving cars.
4.2
spacious room, nicely appointed, big bath space
1. the chemical smell was overpowering from the cleaning agents used / febreeze. It's disgusting. caused nausea and headache with congestion. I had a late checkin, and if it hadn't had a foot of snow along with the late checkin, I would have cancelled this reservation and moved to a different hotel. It was DISGUSTINGLY overpowering. Seriously, wtf are people thinknig chemical overload = cleanliness?
2. the pillows were overstuffed basketballs: I put my own clothes into a pillow case to make a more comfortable option since trhere apparently were no other pillow options available
3 the wifi was next-to-dial-up strength. Literally.

Location was great. Room was roomy.
The heating system didn't keep us warm enough. We couldn't get it to work properly. Also, the restaurant was understaffed and we had to wait a long time for breakfast.
4.2
Staff was great
I didn’t like that the restaurant was closed the prob laid off most their employees the day before we got there. We learned it was with no notice.

Everything EXCEPT they were SHORT staffed and things were delayed in check out. Not staff fault.
The Biggest Issue was the restaurant facility MAGNOLIA had horrible management. I don’t think one server on a Saturday morning following a major concert a block away was smart. Our server JAMIE was doing her best to keep up with the deluge of people…. She was overwhelmed by the number of people who came in all at once.
This is not Hotel Indigo’s company but it reflects on them. Hope things change soon. I paid for an hour extra parking to stay waiting for breakfast!
See above!
4.2
Great location and very comfortable
No parking unless you choose to valet or pay for street parking which was not very safe. Also it wasn’t super insulated so you could hear people talking outside on the street
4.2
There was no breakfast because the cook went home sick which is understandable, but disappointing because it was part of the appeal to the hotel. Also, only reason I didn't give it a 10 was the parking situation.
4.2
Location was good.
Stained sheets, no breakfast, key did not work, $100.00 deposit will take 5-10 days to be credited to our account and they asked to pay a supplement if we wanted to check in early.

Overall great hotel! Very helpful staff!
4.2
Hotel within walking distance of centre of Spokane. Room was large and clean. Bed comfortable. Checki in staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included.
Location in fairly sketchy area with a lot of homeless nearby. Hotel offered a valet parking service to park car at an additional USD30 per day. We felt we had little choice but to do this due to the area. Breakfast staff seemed stressed and not friendly.
4.2
Valet parking was extra but worth it. Room was beautiful even tho the view was of train tracks it was OK. Bed was super comfortable and the Bee Kind brand shower products was a plus.
Would have loved a mini fridge. The downtown homeless people walking around made me nervous.
4.2
The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a cool vibe. The attached restaurant was good, with a delicious breakfast. I had a hardy delicious omelette and a cappuccino. The staff were very helpful. Valet parking in a secured parking lot, which is comforting if you leave anything in your car.
The neighborhood felt dangerous. When I arrived I had to wait for over 15 minutes to parking in the valet drop-off area, while 2 cars finished what appeared to be a drug deal. Parking was $30 and valet parking is the only real option because street parking, with bikes on a bike rack and goods in my car, felt like a prescription for theft or damage.
4.2
Very clean and rooms were great except a mini fridge would have been helpful.
Kind of a hassle if you need to get in your vehicle to get anything you have to wait for valet but they are quick and very much appreciated still.
4.2
Very clean. Staff was lovely. Iris, who waited my table for breakfast was lovely.
Not the greatest location.
4.2
Nicely renovated
Staff honestly didn't look like they worked at such a nice hotel. The valet is $30 a day and the valet forgot to lock my car, it notifies me when its unlocked (which btw they aren't at fault if stuff gets stolen per the ticket thing they give you). So I had to ask for them to go back and lock my car. The shower dripped ALL night long. even put a towel down below but didn't help. For as much as I spent a night I would rather have a pool and free parking. It's not Seattle.

This is a beautiful property with superbly friendly staff and great facilities.
The property has valet parking.
Owing to the amount of homelessness I’d have never stayed here without this facility.
I don’t think anyone should stay without valet parking.

We were there for our roaring 20s themed wedding up the street from Hotel indigo. It was the perfect vintage theme and we got a lot of good pictures in their lobby and bar.
The property was great, and the food was good. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was we asked if we could check in at one instead of three so we could get ready for our wedding and they charged us $30.
4.2
Room was nicely decorated
Valet parking was full and street parking was amongst group of unhoused folks
4.2
Good location in downtown Spokane, industrial-style boutique hotel with very nice styling
Rooms seem to have no or very small windows, not sure why
4.2
Historical building with original elements
Location (bunch of homeless in the neighborhood), valet parking only gor $30, no windows (artificial) in our room, room looks nice but cleaning was inappropriate (dust on the beds, baseboards, lamps), no fridge in the room
4.2
It was ok, certainly nothing special. Good location if you are doing things downtown. Breakfast was kind of a disaster on day 2. Overall, it's fine, but probably not worth the money.
Location is both good and bad. Off street parking is very expensive. Breakfast was a disaster day 2. Elevator was questionable. Facilities are kind slim.
4.2
neatly renovated-classy but not over the top. great beds!
lots of homeless around the property.
4.2
Spacious bathroom
Nice oversized chair in room
Odd lighting placement in room.
Not enough natural light.
4.2
Beautiful modern rooms, extremely comfortable.
4.2
Great historic renovation. Big rooms. Very clean.
Location has seen SIGNIFICANT increase in vagrants. Unsafe to park on street. Though staff was very helpful, property seemed understaffed. I visited one year ago and the area has become much more sketchy. Sad for such a beautiful restored hotel. Hope Spokane govt. can get a handle on it.

The room was terrific. I like historic old buildings. I like that it's near the performance venues in the area, like the Bing Crosby Theater and others.
Was breakfast included? If so, we were not told anything about it. However, we did happen to have dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night and I do have some feedback. I ordered a caesar salad with chicken breast. Salad was $12, plus $6-$8 for the chicken. The chicken was good and appropriately sized. But the salad was absurdly small for $12. I mean, seriously, not cool. Also, the couple directly next to us rejected their bowl of mussels for not being very good, which was awkward to watch. I am confident that restaurant management can make adjustments to dial things in better. The place feels good though.
Lastly, valet parking: it's awkward to pay $21 per day and then feel obligated to tip the valet. I asked the front desk about whether I should feel obligated, and I was told that many/most people don't tip, but that it would be nice. Here is what I recommend: Add another $5 to the per day cost of valet parking, and make it a strict policy to not accept valet tips. That would make for a much less awkward experience for your guests.

From the time I arrived to the day I left, Hotel Indigo made me feel at home, comfortable, well fed and looking forward to coming back. I actually miss my friends at Hotel Indigo already! It's very much like a family run operation.
