About this house rental
Stunning, elegant and creative Craftsman, gorgeous artist's property, 4 poster king size bed w white cotton voile curtains, large studio with architectural character amid the backdrop of the Sequoia National Park. A remarkable space with terraces and vaulted ceilings as well as a pergola perched amid the sycamores along the river with dining and lounging chairs, mosquito net & curtains, (overnight bedding optional) and set up dependent on weather. Five minute drive to the center of the village of Three Rivers where the restaurants and Village Market are and then 6 miles into the Sequoia National Park. The studio comprises the ground floor level with its own entrance. A well loved vacation rental on a seasonal river for many years but new to VRBO and Homeaway. A super clean space with guests receiving maximum privacy and thorough distancing. Your terrace and pergola visits are private at all times. Please always check Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and Mineral King websites for latest weather information. Although summer is considered the most stable weather, spring and fall are gorgeous and snow around the base of the world's tallest trees is an unparalleled experience. All seasons have their beauty.

Was spectacular. In addition to being beautifully appointed, Caroline had some food in the refrigerator for us. The host were very helpful with suggestions for dining and places to swim. We found a great remote swimming hole in the national park and enjoyed seeing the sequoias. We thoroughly enjoy our stay at this property highly recommend.

Beautiful location could not ask for anything nicer both my Wife and I were pleasantly impressed with the setting, amenities, closeness to town if you need. Our host were very nice and offered all extras. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away and relax.

What an incredibly charming and comfortable place! Before we left, we both commented that we should have allowed for extra days to just relax by the river and play with the birds. The hosts were delightful and helpful. I would highly recommend it, and I will try to come back to the area specifically to stay here!

What a fantastic stay - we had perfect weather to enjoy their well developed outdoor area. Bugs were a little crazy but that’s normal for right by the water, right? The sound of the river was so relaxing. Bed was super comfy. Kitchen and bathroom were well laid out. WIFI worked for staying in touch with our family. Short drive to coffee, groceries, gas and the park

My husband and I enjoyed an all too short stay of two nights in this large studio with all the comforts of home. Our hosts were readily available and accommodating, while at the same time giving us plenty of privacy. The outdoor area was a pleasure, with a stream flowing by and several comfortable sitting areas to take in the view and surrounding nature. All in all, a lovely respite during our one week whirlwind vacation.

My husband and I celebrated our 5 yr wedding anniversary at this breathtaking piece of heaven. We wanted to get away and unwind and what better place to do so than here! We needed a reset and let me tell you that Eric and Cara have a true Gem that they generously shared with us.
This place has to be my most favorite trip/getaway ever! They have thought of everything to make our stay so comfortable and welcoming. From the most comfortable bed ever! To the breathtaking view’s, everything was amazing. You know there’s always one thing that you say “well if only this or that was..” nope! Everything was so amazingly beautiful and completely comfortable. A huge thank you Cara and Eric from my husband Juan and I for allowing us to take part of your beautiful home. We can’t wait to return!

My girlfriend and I were staying here for the weekend to visit Sequoia National Park. It has been everything we needed. The owners were very nice and welcoming. They were also kind enough to educate us on food around the area, places to visit, and even the history with the rental portion of their house and how it was built and custom freehand painted by an artist who previously owned it. Everything was clean and well kept. The river flowing through the backyard was amazing. We definitely want to come back and rent with Caroline and Eric!

This property was EVERYTHING we could have imagined and more. Our hosts were terrific and very helpful with our questions. The property and room were immaculate and if we hadn't wanted to see the Sequoia Nation Forest we would have spent every minute of our time just enjoying the accommodations. The local restaurants and brewery were very nice too. Would DEFINITELY recommend staying here. Thank you again to our wonderful hosts!!!!

My wife and I stayed at this stunning house for our anniversary as a spot to relax after hiking around Sequoia. The property is very unique and beautiful set right next to the river. The studio has a lot of space and character. It would be great place to just relax for a couple days even without the parks nearby. Caroline and her husband were excellent hosts.

Thank you for an awesome experience at your guest house! The atmosphere of the house is very unique and the surrounding grounds are the best! The sounds of the river were so enjoyable and the wildlife was a surprise! A deer was on the grounds as we drove in. Feeding peanuts to the blue jays was so much fun. But the most exciting was the bear that made his way across the yard one evening! Thank you for a wonderful place to rest after spending the day in Sequoia National Park! We would recommend you stay here if you have the chance!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Caroline & Eric’s property along the river. Our stay was better than I ever could have imagined that it would be and it was the perfect place to unwind after a couple long days of hiking up in Sequoia National Park. The room was cozy and had every amenity that we needed and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Talking to Caroline and Eric was like we were chatting with old friends that we have known for years, even tho we had just met. They are special people who have created a special property, and are generous enough to share their piece of heaven with us. If we journey back to Three Rivers, I would absolutely love to stay at their property again.

Fell in love with this cottage on the river. The home is beautiful inside and out. It was perfect for my daughter and I. The decor was exquisite and the entire space was immaculate. The outdoor area was impressive as well. Several places to sit and enjoy the sound of the river flowing and watch birds and other wildlife. It was relaxing to sit on the rocks and put our feet in the water on a hot day. The host was very attentive, she sent us information about the home and gave us recommendations for restaurants and things to do. There are several places to eat and shop nearby and it’s just minutes to Sequoia. Highly recommend!

My mom and I stayed at the property for 3 nights. We shared the 1 king size bed, which was very comfortable. It was so quiet, with the exception of the roaring river. We found ourselves sitting river side in the comfortable chairs decompressing for hours on end. It was delightful. The hosts were gracious and wonderful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to unplug and recharge.

My wife and I stayed for a couple nights while getting our first visits in to Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks, and we loved the charm and craftmanship of the house and the studio where we stayed. Everything was thought of by the owners, Caroline greeted us when we arrived and explained everything we needed to know and more. The river view was amazing, it's close to Sequoia, and honestly, we did not stay there long enough, as we would have liked to just sit and relax at the studio or sit out by the river and relax a bit more. We will definitely have to return again and do more hiking to see the giant trees and some of the other beautiful places the area has to offer as well. Great place for a couple to get away from it all. Thanks for everything!!!!

As a landscape, wildlife and portrait photographer, this residence in Three Rivers is everything that I was looking for and then some. Located just outside of Sequoia National Park, it's a short drive to the main entrance. The vrbo can easily be used as a portrait studio and there was plenty of wildlife in and around the property to keep a wildlife photographer like myself busy. 10/10 would recommend and I intend to one day make it back there to stay! Thanks so much Eric and Cara for your wonderful hospitality!!

We had the BEST time—absolute heaven in the foothills. The pictures don't do it justice, the most beautiful, romantic little studio with a perfect kitchen and everything you could ever need. Close the all the restaurants, a coffee shop, and the entrance to the park, and the BEST hosts. We hope to come back soon!!!

Cozy getaway
Caroline was a wonderful host. She was easy to communicate with whenever we had questions. The property is a lovely space and the outdoor space is truly lovely. We saw lots of wildlife on the property. Also being so close to Sequoia national park made day trips super easy, especially after hiking all day. The kitchenette is nicely supplied for all your cooking and beverage needs as well. Wish we could have stayed longer.
