Canmore is a perfect choice during the busy summer months. Access to the bus stop and downtown were great from these condos.

Our group had a great stay at the Elk & Owl! The place was exactly what we expected, clean, good location, and had everything we needed. Chris & Tanya were super helpful and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again for sure!

The bedrooms are clean and comfortable, we had 11 people sharing the whole place. It was clean and cozy, very nice place to come back to cook, eat, and chat after a whole day out in the mountains.
Complimentary park pass is a plus. Great recommendation from the host.
Only thing that was missing was laundry facilities inside the condo, but we can get by. Definitely recommend staying here in general.

We had 15 guys stay at the 2 adjoining units. Plenty of room to cook and hang out. Check-in and check-out was very easy. I would definitely recommend these accommodations!

Property is clean, convenient and is everything you need. We had a big group (10) of athletes and coaches here for an event at Nakiska. The location is great! The layout of the two apartments together is great! Communication with the owners was quick and responsive. We will definitely be back!

Only got to stay here one night with a large group of friends and family but we had an excellent stay. Would definitely stay here again in the future

We stayed in both units (Elk&Owl) for 3 nights with multiple families and had an excellent stay. The house was clean, exactly as listed and well appointed. We especially loved that there were lots of strong hooks in each of the rooms for towels and jackets etc. It sounds like a strange detail to like but it made a big difference in keeping everything neat and tidy because we were sharing with more than one family. The hosts were excellent and always provided prompt and detailed information. It was also amazing to use the two park passes for our ski days and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There were lots of small extras such as plenty of pool towels, robes in all of the rooms, shampoo, condition and body wash in the showers which we appreciated. One thing to be aware of is that check in is at 5:00pm. I believe this is because of the time needed to flip the house in-between stays but when traveling from a few hours away and needing to unpack the car, feed kids and get them to bed it was a bit tricky for us and just something to consider when planning your dates. Great rental that I would definitely recommend.

This place has mostly great features, and just a few not-so-great features. Our large family group (12 adults plus 2 babies) stayed for a week to visit the beautiful Canadian Rockies. The place is part of a condo complex and is 2 units joined by a door between them.
The great features were: *It is nicely maintained, clean and new looking, with comfortable beds, nice linens, and blackout shades in the bedrooms. *We had a toddler with us and it was great to have a pack-n-play for her to sleep in so that we didn’t have to haul our own on the flights to/from the US. *The location can’t be beat. Very easy walking distance to the town, which has lots of really terrific restaurants, and close access to the freeway to get to Banff, the Icefields Parkway, Lake Louise, etc. *The water pressure in the showers was fantastic! *The owners were VERY responsive and helpful leading up to, and during our stay. They were very eager to be sure we were comfortable and had a great time. *The recycle/trash collection area for the complex was right next door to our condo so it was great being able to just walk garbage/recyclables to the dumpsters when we needed to. There was no issue with odor.
The main challenging features were: *The upstairs bedrooms (2) in the larger of the 2 condos are not air-conditioned. It was in the high 80s when we were there and those spaces were like furnaces and miserable for our family members who tried to sleep there (they sometimes came downstairs and slept on sofas), despite floor fans in the rooms and open windows at night. *There is no in-unit laundry. The available laundry facility is for the entire complex with a few coin washers and dryers.
Other issues that deserve a mention though were not a huge problem for us: *The condo complex has limited parking and some of our cars had to find street parking one of the nights. *The pool and hot tub are in the courtyard of the complex, with no seating around the pool. *The main spaces of the 2 condos were not large. We congregated in the larger of the 2, with most of us sitting around the dining room table (picnic table style, with benches).
All that said, we had a wonderful stay. The good far outweighed the bad, though that air-conditioning problem upstairs was a real issue.

Amazing space for a large group!
Had a bunch of friends/family out for a couple of nights. The place is as pretty as the pictures in the ad, tons of space. Was very clean on arrival and had everything you would expect (appliances work fine, coffee maker, etc). Check in was easy and owners easy to contact. Would definitely recommend!

Stay in Canmore
We had an amazing time on this property. Perfect for a larger group as it has many bedrooms and two kitchen spaces. It was very clean, spacious and super comfortable. Chris was very easy to get a hold of and was super attentive to all of our needs ! The kitchens were stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed access to the hot tub and like the privacy the property provides as well. We will definitely be back.

2 Adult-Family Getaway
Two families with teen and adult kids, half went to banff skiing, half stayed in canmore to shop and eat. Park passes were an excellent added touch! Super stoked about the pool and hottub amenities. A private room for everyone. We loved it. Everyone was loving it. One kitchen used as the bar, one as the food prep. Room enough for us to grow with more girlfriends and boyfriends and still have a room for all. We will be looking to reserve again.

Amazing!
Such an incredible space and property! The unit was so charming with everything you could ever need to enjoy a weekend away. It was spotless and so nicely decorated. The hot pool & hot tub were perfect on a snowy weekend! Also in a great location - so many amenities nearby, and close proximity to town!

Birthday Celebration
If you are looking to stay together with family or friends this place gives you All the check boxes. From location within walking distance to downtown and so close to the Grizzly Paw brewery and 310TANK restaurant. This place also was its own separate building away from the condo part, so no worries to disturb your neighbors. We rented both units that have a joining door that came in handy with our family. The views, the heated pool and hot tub were a great treat that are seconds away. All in all this was a great experience and the hosts were available for any questions we had.

First Class Property
It’s difficult to find a property that meets the privacy yet togetherness needs of a large family from teens to grandparents. With 7 distinct full and separate bedrooms and two fully equipped living areas this property has it all. Football Sunday in full swing in one area, movie time for the grandparents in the other and everyone comes together for games night. Due to the last minute pandemic gathering restrictions that were abruptly put in place for our initial booking 65 th birthday booking , we were so grateful that the owners were willing to accommodate these unusual and never before circumstances and assist us in rebooking at another time. The pool and hot tub area were so clean and easily accessible and we appreciated the fully equipped kitchens. Internet service was 100% for many devices including Zoom Classes. Bedding and beds were immaculate and comfortable. We highly recommend this property and owner and will book again for future family gatherings.

Wonderful experience!
Our Family was celebrating a milestone birthday and the property could not have been better set up for our needs. The two condo set up with adjoining door was perfect to gift each family their own space, but still have plenty of time together. I highly recommend this property in Canmore as it is ideally located and wonderfully renovated!
