About this house rental
I live in a beautiful home just outside (North) of the City of Charleston in Park Circle. I really have the best of both worlds. I live just away from downtown Charleston, and very near the airport and shopping. At night I can go outside and look up to see the clear Carolina sky and the stars, or make the short ten minute drive downtown to have dinner and go out. The area is actually incredibly close to everything because it is in the middle of all of the areas of Charleston. You can get to anywhere in Charleston in 10 or 15 minutes…anywhere. “This Old House” Magazine recently chose Park Circle as one of the year’s “Best Old-House Neighborhoods.” America's best new wine bar (according to Food & Wine Magazine): Stems & Skins, is less than a half mile from my front door. EVO's Pizza offers the best slice of pizza in the state of South Carolina and is also about a half mile from my home. You will be staying in my comfortable private back-house attached to my main home. This back house will be all yours with a separated entrance, parking spot, and key. It has its own bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, and shared access to the outdoor patio (complete with a spacious, deck, private yard, and charcoal bull grill). The kitchen has a full-sized stove/oven, microwave, convection oven, toaster, table top griddle, and refrigerator. Please note: I live in an old neighborhood in a historic 50's home. This means that while my home is clean and comfortable, it is not brand new. There are some creaking areas of the floor, old heavy windows, and some dated interior designs. If you are expecting a resort hotel experience, then please book a resort hotel. If you are open minded and interested in experiencing a unique Charleston home, however, then I welcome you here! There is UNLIMITED 24/7 Wi-Fi. The bed is a beautiful queen sized Charleston Rice Bed with micro-fiber sheets. I have a pull-out futon couch in the living room - it is very comfortable with a new cushion on it. It sleeps two comfortably, but I also keep a single-size pull out couch for an additional guest. The place would be ideal for a couple, a couple of couples, or a small group of friends to stay. I ask for honesty, cleanliness, and respect. I do NOT smoke, and while many of my friends do, I cannot be around it because I am allergic to it. Charleston is one of the oldest cities in America; a true colonial town. It is also one of the most charming cities in the WORLD. There is so much to see and do, you could NEVER be disappointed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). I also offer a pet-friendly environment, but you must discuss this with me prior to booking (there is also an additional pet fee). If you are bringing a baby or toddler, I can arrange for you to use Baby’s Away for your child's equipment needs. Baby's Away has been in Charleston for 20 years and they provide rental equipment that may be too big or cumbersome for your to bring with you!

The house is cozy and served as a nice place to crash when we weren’t sightseeing or at the beach. Travis was very friendly and made the checking in and out process very easy! He even communicated ahead of our visit and offered dining recommendations!

Small home that is close to restaurants and fully equipped kitchen. Short drive to Charleston and Mt Pleasant. Property manager kept in contact for all our needs via the app. Will definitely stay here again

This is a great place for a weekend trip to Charleston. It has everything you need, plus a nice back patio with a hot tub to relax by in the mornings or in the evenings. It's easy to get to downtown Charleston or to explore what North Charleston has to offer. The house is well equipped with helpful notes from The Host to alert you on how to find things. If you're going to use the pull out couch bed, it even comes with an extra mattress so that you can avoid that bar in your back feeling!

The property was ok and has potential. Towels were worn and shredded at the ends. The fold out couch could use a good cleaning. It was nice to have coffee for the morning. Some new towels, pillows and a couple glasses-not plastic cups would be nice. It was a place with bare essentials but nothing very nice. Backyard was ok. Hate to leave a bad review but a little effort would make it a lot better stay. The neighborhood was ok.

Had a great stay at Travis' spot. Clean, safe, convenient location. Was in town for a concert on Daniel Island and this was a great location. The was a small delay with check-in but I think it was more of an issue with the direct message feature of Vrbo app and not the host's fault. He was quick to respond by text.

Great property
Very clean and nice amenities! They left a lot of stuff for us to use like shampoo and such, nice little touches. Hot tub was warm and backyard was cozy. Lots of cool bars and restaurants nearby and close enough to the city and beaches. Shower was small but everything else was perfect!

Neighborhood stay with charm
We were very comfy in this house. The owner has decorated it with his own stylish Charleston memorabilia and furnished it well. We chose it for the hot tub, the photo of the deck (very accurate), and the convenient location to West Ashley, downtown, and Mt. Pleasant. The interior was well done too. Enjoyed cooking a meal as well as walking to EVO bakery. If we'd brought racquets, would have also enjoyed nearby tennis courts. The owner was very helpful and has put a lot of thoughtful effort into making this space attractive and functional.

Great Location!
This guest house was perfect for the quick trip my partner and I took. It is minutes from excellent food, and a straight shot to downtown without having to get on the interstate (Charleston traffic is AWFUL in rush hour). My only criticism is that for 6ft me, the shower is TEENY TINY. My 5'5" absolutely fiance loved it on the other hand.

Wonderful Stay
We had a great stay. It's convenient to Charleston. In a neighborhood but had the privacy of a fenced in yard. The hot tub was perfect. We forgot my husband's earbuds & owner was nice enough to mail back to us.

Apartment Private Setting
This Place is just as pictures show. We drove to Park Circle area to walk every dat. Came for a wedding in Charleston and had a nice time dining out at many places. It is convenient stay to get to all locations - from Mt. Pleasant, Downtown, Fort Sumter, Outlet stores, etc. Shopped at Food Lion to buy the basics for our stay. The bathroom is small but just as pictured so a person of large stature might have constraints. I'm 5 ft and spouse is 5'10 (bad knees) just for reference for future guests booking. Travis seems like a genuine Charlestonian who cares for his home and town!

Nice little place
We enjoyed our stay. The house is clean and well equipped. We struggled with getting a lyft or uber though. Several of our drivers commented on the neighborhood not being safe. This was surprising based on the summary of the property. We felt safe at the house and didnt have any issues though.
