The Hollies is a luxury, 5 star, exclusive use holiday home in the beautiful village of Tighnabruaich. This is the place to be for friend groups and reuniting families looking for a place to unfurl in secluded comfort. Ideal for special occasions, you can celebrate in style with still having plenty of space to find a quiet corner when you want some time out.
Created from the shell of a much-loved local landmark building, The Hollies has been beautifully modernised to provide sumptuous luxury with contemporary flair while celebrating the original architecture with its stained-glass windows and period features.
On the ground floor is the main living space which comprises of a large stylish lounge with fabulous shorefront views and a warming open gas fire as well as a modern, open-plan kitchen-diner, fully-equipped with all the tools to make delicious meals and seating for eighteen. Also on this level is the family-friendly games room, boasting a 7ft pool table, SONOS surround system and a 65” TV with Xbox, it will definitely keep any teenagers in the group entertained in the evenings!
The Hollies is the perfect choice for multi-generational groups, with a ground floor en-suite bedroom, ideal for any guests in the group who may struggle with a flight of stairs.
The remaining uniquely designed seven bedrooms are situated across the first and second floors. Each beautifully-appointed, five boast en-suite facilities, while the remaining two share a luxurious family bathroom with a free standing roll top bath. One of the rooms is set up as a family room and features a king-size bed with two additional singles, fantastic for any guests travelling with younger children. All the hallmarks of quality are present with Egyptian cotton bed linen, thick fluffy towels and waterfall showers.
Outside, after action-packed days spent exploring this beautiful coastline, the whole group will enjoy barbecues on the south facing terrace and evenings socialising around the fire-pit. There are large lawns ideal for children’s games as well as table tennis and boules - plenty to keep the whole group busy without even leaving the house!
Within 2 hours of Glasgow Airport, The Hollies is perfectly situated on the shorefront with views extending all the way down the West Kyles of Bute and centrally located for all that Tighnabruaich has to offer. It is easy to leave the car parked at home and walk to several local coffee shops and restaurants. The local tennis court is 2 minutes from the Hollies and the local 9 hole golf course has striking views over the Kyles of Bute. Needless to say there are many local walks and ideal areas for some wild water swimming.

We had a great experience! The view is absolutely stunning. You can watch the sunrise from the porch and the main sitting area. All rooms have a private bathroom except the 2 upstairs share a big bathroom (which works great). We had everything we need! Lorraine is wonderful with her help and communication! Always willing to answer questions! Town is fun for kids and adults! And there is supermarket with all the necessities in town
The only thing I would say, if you are coming with older parents, the outdoor porch stairs although not many have no railing (I wish they do)

I booked The Hollies as a place to celebrate my birthday with family. It was everything and more than I could have asked for. The location, interior design, quality of everything in the hours and the garden were top class. This house has been so well designed and has created the most relaxing environment as well as providing entertainment for all. I booked the owner of local restaurant for the Saturday night and she cooked 5 star dinner for us at the house. We also used the Big Green Egg on the Sunday and sat outside around the fire pit listening to my brother on guitar. The view from the garden is so beautiful. For me…… The Holllies has it all. Thank you Graeme, Lorraine and team who pulled it al together.
