Location was convenient to beach, nice and quiet (except when planes flew over). David the host, was very welcoming and helpful. Felt homey and not like a hotel. It is in a neighborhood so that we could feel the life around us.

I absolutely loved the cozy vibe David created by building two amazing, quaint bottle houses surrounded by a lush garden - home to two lovely geese, Becky and Joe:)
David is a friendly, resourceful and reliable host who is on top of things and more! He picked me up from the airport at 6.00 a.m. Moreover, he took me on a tour of Uganda and showed me the beauty of the country including wildlife and landscapes, arranging accomodation and gorilla plus chimp permits on the way!
Thank you, David. You are incredible!

NOTHING, because I booked the accommodation and I called him one day later. Than he request that I should decline the booking. He refused to cancel the booking ... Can't recommend at all that host.
Worse experience, because I booked the accommodation and I called him one day later.
No acting after booking from his side.
Than he request on my phone call that I should decline the booking because he is unable to host me...... he went with other customer to a National Park ....his excuse! I refused to cancel the booking, because of his terms and condition and here was no single reason to do it. He didn't the first time that mistake to forgot to block his booking schedule! He refused to cancel the booking ....so we let the things go and now we are here to inform the world about his tricky behaviour. Can't recommend at all that host.

David was an amazing host, we really appreciated to meet him and spend some time at the house. The bedroom is small but cozy and confortable. Do not hesitate, go meet him :)

Great location in a local setting with easy access to the city and airport. David is a fantastic host that enjoys talking and sharing information about Uganda as well as his own ideas and reasons for starting this eco friendly project. The rooms are very comfortable with all the facilities one would need

Just love this little garden oasis! It’s quiet and clean, surrounded by trees and flowers and two friendly geese. But the best part is David, the host. He is wonderful and will make you feel like an honoured guest. He can help arrange all sorts of trips (went to Mabamba swamp to see shoebills!) and he even took us himself on a budget adventure to Murchison Falls National Park. It was an amazing time made even better by his knowledge, kindness and enthusiasm. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone seeking reasonably priced accommodation in Entebbe.

David is an exceptional host with an amazing sense for the environment in Uganda. He used plastic bottles which laid around in the villages to recycle them and build the small tiny cottages which is all you need. It‘s more like a homestay with a very helpful friend who looks also for your dinner and breakfast. Beside of that David helps you with all the questions for your travellings in Uganda (where are the taxis, how to organize your transport somewhere else and he has s lot off knowledge of all the nationalparks). With a stay at Davids place you make the right choice and help the visions of a young man with good thoughts about our environment🙏🏻
It‘s not in the city centre of Entebbe, so you need to take first a taxi and then a ferry. But I know that in advance, so it wasn‘t a problem at all. And on the way to him you experience already the real life of Uganda and not only the „perfect glance you would see in a resort“.

Everything. It was a fantastic time that we had together with our host David. David is a super friendly, interested, humble man who is a true traveveller by himself and helped us a lot with organizing our further trip and the activities during our two-night stay. We did a boat tour in the swamps to see the Shoebill and hiked in Mpigi forest and talked a lot with David. Highly recommended to everyone and always happy to come back again.

Amazing!!!
I was trying to book my stay last minute, but David told me they are full. So I booked for later and OMG, I am sooo happy I did.
In my opinion, this place is everything you need and goes with your morals. So if you want to put your money where your morals are, you are in the right place.
David built two little lodges and fence with plastic bottles he collected from the region. He is such a nice person and he really cares about environment. Uganda is amazing country so it is important that people like David spread knowledge about recycling.
After three weeks backpacking Uganda and almost a week in capital this was awesome. It is away from big cities, so if you just go for a walk you can find little cute village with really nice people and amazing nature. It is close to Mabamba swamp where you can go bird watching, sailing through tiny canals and enjoy beautiful sunsets. Still, if you want a lively night there is Entebbe less than 30 minutes away.
I was really happy there and looking forward to be back someday 😍
David, wish you all the best and crossing fingers for you to work on every plan you have.
Thank you ❤️

David, the host is a very friendly guy. We spent quality time in his place talking on various topics. He has made two cottages by thousands of plastic bottles. A very eco-friendly idea indeed! The property is neat & clean and very well-maintained.

The owner is realyy really noce and helps all time whereever help is needed.
we ve got tea from plants out of the garden -and a lockal snacks at the day we ve arrived- so good.
Plastic bottle is the perfect place to start or end a trip through uganda, because its a quite place, but there is a bar close and you have to go with a ferry which is an adventure😃
the last ferry leaves around 18:45 from entebbe to the hostel

David is an absolutely amazing host! Very kind, responsible and easy-going. Communication was very fast and easy.
David was accompanying me to the ferry multiple times and when I arrived late at night he made sure I'll travel safe and he was waiting on me after arrival. He was always possible to reach out when I had a question and always looked for a solution to help out.
He arranged transport from the hotel to the airport late at night for a good price and even delivered a package to my friend in Kampala after my departure.
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with two little goose friends waiting to welcome you in the garden.
Thank you so much for everything, David!

There were trees all over the yard and beautiful green grass. It was a quiet village. The Wi-Fi was okay and the host was nice.
The power cut was too much, no running water apparently there was construction somewhere that disturbed the pipes. No fridge I had to buy from shop to mouth. Apart from paying the amount that was showing up when booking, I still had to pay for electricity. Not that I didn't want to pay I just wish I was told upfront so basically it was a surprise.
