It is located on the island
The staff is lazy. Nobody helped with luggage in and out of the boat.
The food is pretty bad for the price.
You have to pay for the boat to get you there.
Someone tried to get into my room late at night. It is possible they just mistakenly tried to open the wrong door. But it scared me.

A great place to relax, plan and do activities in the area. Basic but comfortable room. Great sitting area, food and nice staff.
Bed was a little uncomfortable.

The open hut "King's nest" with it's own pier to go swimming in the lake was phantastic! Beautiful view on the lake. Very peaceful. Greate experiance and relaxing. We extended our stay to 4 nights.
The fact that we were not told in advance that the free Parking and teansfer point is due to bad road conditions nearly not reachable even with 4x4. Guests should be informed on booking.com that it costs an additional transport fee for the boat of 30.000,- UGX each way to the island.

Locatie is top, veel vogels. Hut met uitzicht over het meer. Voor het parkeren en de overtocht moet je betalen. Niet alle huisjes hebben stroom.

The staff is very cordial, fantastic people! The area offers an oasis of peace, where you feel completely connected to nature.
We stayed here in September 2023 and the shower sometimes only has cold water. A mirror outside would also have been useful 😉 Everything else was perfect!

Beautiful views, nice activities, food was nice. Communication went very well, so we got to the island easily. There were fun rabbits.

Located on an island it is idyllic and the surrounding and view is unique. The concept of the local villagers doing a sustainability project to provide them a perspective is great, however does not make them all a hospitality expert. The experience is unique, and the food cost reasonable.
The hotel should inform clients that there is a proportionally significant fee on getting you on and off the island. Food could be just a bit more sophisticated if they wish to win foreign clients, and rooms are really just the bare min of comfort. with little effort one can do more.

The place was beautiful! Good views, good food and very peaceful.
The place is located on an island that is a bit far and the way to the place is a bit rough (for the free shuttle you need to take a one hour drive from Kabale and there is no paved road and when it gets dark it is not very pleasant). Using boat in order to travel and visit places around the lake make the stay more expensive.

Beautifull location, good service by kind staff, delicious food, good expectation management by the staff (order your food timely as it takes time to prepare)
The bed was a bit short, so night's rest was a bit limited.

Beautiful location and outstanding service and staff. They accommodated my late arrival and even prepared dinner for me at the late hour. I left my glasses in the room and Silas went out of his way to ship them to me in Kampala. Top notch service!! Thank you!!!

- Great location on a small island, transfer via canoe boat :-)
- Staff very friendly. Great view from the restaurant over the lake with stunning sunset.
- Food was good, their pizza was exceptionally ;-).
- Warm water available for shower
- Would be nice to have had some cushions on the bench on the terrace instead of sitting on the hard wood.
- Bathroom very small
- If you'd like your soda cold ask for it as they only put beer into the fridge in the restaurant

Super location with beautiful views, only the sound of nature and very quiet. Bird watching from the restaurant terrace is worthwhile. Good food and very friendly staff! Access road from Kabale during rains a little bit challenging.

The location was excellent. Situated on an island close to the mainland around Lake Bunyonyi. It was so scenic and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We paid extra for a boat tour of the lake and Cyrus the manager took us around to multiple islands to walk around and see. The menu for food was great and the food was excellent and very reasonable for price. Overall an amazing weekend!
The rooms were somewhat small but still comfortable

Beautiful setting and amazing people. Several fun and interesting activities to do. They also are doing intelligent, sustainable things for the community. A really great experience.
The double rooms could use more ventilation, although they were fine for the price. I recommend upgrading to the huts!

I loved my stay at Paradise Eco-Hub. the location was breathtaking, the staff incredibly kind and accommodating and the food delicious (esp liked my crayfish biryani).
If you’re undecided which island to chose while heading to Lake Byunyoni, don’t think twice! great value for money.
I was thinking that wifi would be too poor to get some work done, but in fact it worked seamlessly. I was even able to do video calls! we were just a few tourists though so that could explain that.
I loved my birding tours with Tom, he’s amazing!

Their ethos is embedded in the community and the environment. staying here will also do good. take the time to find out more from Silas. the restaurant had a fabulous view… and I can recommend the masala crayfish especially as we saw them being caught right below our right out our traditional. hut!! Thank you Silas and team… for our stay and for your help with our car and football shirts!! we hope to see you again!

Unique setting, beautiful surroundings, great hospitality by Silas and his team. Quite an adventure to get there, especially in the rainy season, but as long as you have a 4WD and are not afraid of getting it dirty it's totally manageable. Once you reach the end of the road, you can either swim or you will be picked up by boat which is quite helpful especially if you happen to have luggage with you.
Jokes aside, really enjoyed chilling on the terrace with a cup of tea or on one of the piers watching tons of different birds up close, learning how to actually go straight in a traditional canoe and not the mzungu way driving in circles (harder than you think) and having late night pool billard sessions with one of the staff members also named Tom. Good times!

the cheaper rooms don’t look to clean, we upgraded upon arrival

The hut was something extraordinary with open view to the lake. The toilet was clean and without bad smell even it was ecological and non-flashing. Drinking water to refill bottles. Restaurant. Walk around island. Canoe rent.
Lack of warm water and spiders in the shower :) high prices of activities

We had an amazing time at Paradis Eco-Hub. Although we arrived late and got stuck in the mud, the staff came and picked us up after a long day on the road. The communication before our arrival was helpful to find parking and coordinate arrival times.
We stayed in the room without a door, which was amazing. Thick blankets and mosquito nets over the beds were provided and waking up to the sound of birds was magical. The best room to stay in for sure.
The main lodge is equipped with wifi, a comfortable seating area and games and an amazing view of the lake
The staff were always helpful and the food selection from the kitchen was great.
We took one of the tours offered by Paradis Eco-Hub and were not disappointed by the views and all the information we got about the area.
There is a swimming dock where you can sit and enjoy the view, bird watch or go for a swim in the lake or you can take a walk around the island or sit in front of your hut and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area.
This is definitely the place to stay at when visiting Lake Bunyonyi. It is an Ugandan owned lodge that cares about its environmental impact and the community around the lake. We will definitely come back, we had an amazing time here and were able to enjoy a much needed break from the busy and loud life in Kampala.
Everything was awesome

Paradise Eco Hub is a very beautiful place at lake bunyonyi. We loved our room with the swimming dock. There is restaurant that serves delicious food and has an amazing view. All the stuff members were super friendly and made us feel like home. They also helped us to organize our transportation and we also booked a hike + boattour with them. We would 100% recommend to stay at Paradise Eco Hub

Incredible location on a peaceful island, true paradise. The food was really tasty, try the crayfish! When checking-in they tell you to ‘order before you get hungry’, it’s good to know you have to order in advance, take 1 hour notice for preparation, but definitely worth it, the food is really fresh. Very kind and welcoming staff, we did the ‘Paradise Tour’ which includes a boat tour and a hike, very much recommended, Godwin was a great tourgide.
The only negative thing we could think about was the mattress which wasn’t the best quality. Also take in notice that if you want to selfdrive to the lodge you will need a 4WD, otherwise you can arrange boat pickup in Rutinda.

Fantastic location and great views. Student interns were excellent, very knowledgeable and eager guides for the bird watching and island tours. Lots of choices on the menu with many great dishes. Offering lots of activities and expert advice on day trips.
Food takes a bit long... but its clearly announced this is the case. PIck-up from Kabale and boat rides (which are necessary to reach or leave the hotel as it is on an island) were charged at a price not previously disclosed.
